Came for dinner before a show at Pear Theater (also a great visit!). Gorgeous interior and friendly staff. The patio has chandeliers: fun! All our dishes were delicious (a little salty, maybe). Our waiter paired our dishes with great mocktails.

4.5 Stars! Food was delicious! Service was amazing, especially considering we were a large group of 14 (There was a dedicated server off to the side at all times for us.), ambiance is high-end & upscale for sure, which you might not think at first due to the exterior. But it's beautiful inside. There is a mandatory tip for all groups, which is not uncommon for high-end restaurants.

It was okay. Inside was pretty clean, we did like how it looked and was kept. The food was alright for what it is. We got the Mango salad, Burrata, Chicken penne pasta and Fettuccine duck. Both pasta were fairly tasty. The salad was ok at best. Just tasted out of a bag from a grocery. The Burrata is hard to mess up so it was fine. Service was nice but not efficient at all. Please say hello to all customers. Although our server did greet us, he ignored the younger guy behind us multiple times. And the same main server only came by our table to drop off food. It was difficult to get his attention. This makes no sense when the whole restaurant only had three tables full. Private lot in back.

Loved having dinner here! The venue is beautiful and the service was excellent! We ordered the Sausage and Honey Flatbread and a Greens & Apples salad with salmon - they were both delicious and prepared well! We also ordered a mango margarita, and it was really refreshing! Would absolutely return here!

Amazing customer care by Christine Schoonover, GM at Cucina Venti & Silicon Valley Corporate Catering. I truly admire an establishment that listens to feedback and stands behind the level of service and experience one expects from fine dining. I had originally taken a fellow foodie friend to Cucina Venti for her birthday in December 2025, as we love trying new restaurants together. Unfortunately, that visit was a bit of a letdown--likely due to the busy holiday season. Christine personally reached out, took the time to listen to my feedback, and graciously invited me back. This past Saturday, I returned--and I'm so glad I did. Our server, Henry, was pleasant and attentive. We started with the Sausage & Honey Flatbread--delicious, though slightly spicy from the serrano peppers--and the beet salad, which was fresh and flavorful. For mains, we enjoyed the Halibut Filet (excellent for seafood lovers), Mary's Chicken, and the Seafood Paella. Everything was well-prepared, beautifully plated, and very enjoyable. The paella was flavorful; just note it doesn't feature the traditional Spanish socarrat--that delicate, golden crust some may expect. Thank you to Christine and the entire team at Cucina Venti for a lovely and redeeming dining experience!

Amazing find. This place is upscale. The interior is beautiful so dress up. The food is bomb!! Very delish. The entire group raved about everything that we ordered. Drinks are great. The bartender definitely knows how to make good drinks. They don't do substitutions so if you have food intolerance this may not be the place for you. They offer a free cake piece for your birthday. Good to know: their inside sits only 18+ and outside is 10+. We found out after reaching there. Luckily we had everyone 10+ aged kids.

Cucina Venti is a fairly good restaurant option near where I work and it's within walking distance to the Shashi hotel. It's an upscale italian restaurant and I've been there for small team dinners as well as large group dinners. The food tends to be overpriced for the taste, but the ambiance of the restaurant is great and the service is pretty good. The last time I was here was with 2 other people and we got angel hair pasta, ravioli, and the watermelon feta salad with arugula. The pastas were good, but the watermelon feta salad lacked seasoning and flavor.

Cucina Venti offers an ambiance that is truly one of a kind, elevated, warm, and undeniably memorable. It has an indulgent, polished vibe that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. Their wine selection is solid and pairs nicely with the menu, and the service was very attentive throughout the evening. The food was good and nicely elevated, but it didn't quite reach that "spectacular" level you might expect at this price point. The dishes seem to lean more into the indulgent atmosphere rather than delivering standout culinary moments. Overall, it is a beautiful spot and a unique dining experience that is hard to come by, but it does feel overpriced for what you receive. If you are going for the ambiance, thoughtful service, and the occasion, it is worth a visit, just know the experience may outshine the food.

Came on a Saturday evening, we made reservations so no wait. When we got there, we were seated right away. The interior of the restaurant is very beautiful, ambiance is romantic as well The server was so sweet and kept checking in on us. Great service! Food: Complimentary bread 1. Appetizer: Spanish octopus, not bad 7/10 2. Mushroom ravioli: amazing, this was very delicious, probably one of the best mushroom ravioli I had. The flavors were balanced, very savory and creamy 10/10 3. Fettuccine with duck confit: very unique dish, the cream sauce was a bit heavy 7.5/10 It was a birthday celebration and there was a little card on the table that says Happy Birthday on it. And they surprised us with a small piece of chocolate cake which was a super sweet gesture. Overall had a fantastic time and will definitely come back!

Hidden gem, located in a strip mall, walking distance from The Shoreline, which makes it a great venue for dinner before a show. We had a reservation for 10 people and was seated immediately upon arriving. Ambience and decor was stunning. Very upscale which explains the wedding pics I saw when searching this place. Service was perfect. Jeannie was the sweetest, kindest, most knowledgeable gal we could've hoped for. The rest of the staff was really nice too. We were offered still or sparkling water upon being seated. The little complimentary breads which you get 2 of are heavenly with a hint of rosemary. Wanted more but we had alot of food coming so we didn't ask. Calamari: big pieces, lightly fried Cesar salad: big pieces which I prefer chopped, nice a crisp tho Fettuccine carbonara: creamy, flavorful Harris Ranch Short Ribs: Delicious, tender Black truffle risotto: Rich, creamy, hearty Fettuccini pescatore: spicy, lotsa seafood Summer Spritz: yum! Old Fashion: great! New Fashioned: very good! Stunning presentation, get it! No room for dessert, but someone in our group got the tiramisu and it looked good.

Honestly, I liked everything about this place other than the food and drinks. It's kind of odd to say that about a restaurant but, it is what it is. The service and white linen tablecloths, tall green hedges, and decor were really lovely. It's hard to believe that you're located in the middle of a mall next to a dilapidated abandoned building. The salad was actually pretty good but the $26 cocktail was a complete miss. The $49 seafood pasta was ok but not al dente and not enough fish. I'm sure some things on the menu are better than others but for my one and only time there is was definitely a miss.

I'm honestly surprised this restaurant doesn't have a better average rating because our experience was exceptional. Firstly the ambiance is very upscale, I mean can you ever have too many chandeliers? We had a large party and shared a variety of appetizers. The grilled octopus salad was super delicious and cooked really well. The calamari was also crispy and not overly chewy. For my main I had the scallops and they were absolutely divine. One of the best dishes I've had in awhile. The other things that stood out was how amazing the staff was. A water glass never empty, empty dishes cleared promptly, and great knowledge of the menu and recommendations. They even expedited a dessert since we had to head out shortly. The cocktails were also really nice. It's definitely a more upscale restaurant but I'd come here on a special occasion in a heart beat! Hope to back again soon.

We were in need of a place to do an early new year's celebration with our folks. So we looked around to see which places still had tables and luckily we got reservations here at Cucina Venti Restaurant. In short, lovely service, with delicious food that melts in your mouth great place for any kind of celebration, but take note and make sure to call in for inside versus outside seating. L O C A T I O N Cucina Venti Restaurant is located in Mountain View off of 101 in this tiny plaza near the Computer History Museum. I actually have been to this area before and didn't realize there was a restaurant here. There is parking but could be challenging if it's a busy night. I N S I D E We didn't really get to see the inside too much as unfortunately our reservation was for outdoor seating. It is a little dark inside with mood lighting, but it is quite pretty in there. There's only 1 restroom unfortunately which is the drawback of this place. I had to stand in a line to use it and some folks took quite some time in there. Funny enough, I went in and out so quickly that the person that was next said many thanks to me for being so efficient and quick. O U T S I D E D I N I N G It was December/January so it was a bit chilly. There are outdoor heating lamps which depending on the angle you're sitting could be burning or too far. Luckily it wasn't too bad. It is covered except on the sides. M E N U A variety of options as well as specials which is nice. We opted to get the lamb chops and the halibut and our other family members got the filet mignon and scallops. I remember the lamb being some of the best lamb I've had. It was perfectly cooked and quite flavorful without being gamey. The halibut was tender, flakey and a perfect complement to the meat we were having. Our family members devoured their food. I was actually amazed they finished it all! Dessert was just okay. I don't think I was super impressed with any of the desserts we got. But they were nice to share with everyone. S E R V I C E Service was top notch and upscale. We were treated quite well. Water was also refilled as well as the bread! O V E R A L L We had a pretty good experience with the food. I didn't realize this place existed and glad we were able to go here with family to celebrate. Though the seating and restroom experiences could've been better, the food and service were great. I would highly recommend trying them out and going for a celebration or just treating yourself!

    Pet friendly at the patio?

Yes, our patio is dog friendly.

    Where is this located?

It's located at 1390 Pear Ave Ste D, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. Close to the Starbucks.

I saw this on the menu, am I reading it right? "for all dining guests, an automatic gratuity of 20% will be applied"

    Yes. It is 20% gratuity

I want to celebrate my 17th birthday with my friend, are we not allowed to sit inside?

Of course you can. My belief is the restaurant wants to promote a quiet, relaxing experience and avoid the parents that bring their unsupervised, unruly children.

Can we just walk in without making a reservation?

Yup! My husband and I did. But if you're going with a group, a reservation is a good idea

Hello, are you open for indoor dining?

this is a super late response but they have been open for indoor dining for a while. both indoor and outdoor dining (at the back with heaters and front) is available.

    This restaurant openly hates children

How many bottles of wine am I allow to bring in for my reservation and how much is the corkage fee?

They don't allow wines from outside, I was very disappointed when I knew it last time dining there. I will not go there any more due to this weird rule from this restaurant...

If I am vegetarian and say I wanted to take the grilled chicken out of the penne dish would I be able to do so?

You should choose other vegetarian dishes on the menu instead. Whether you make reservations for lunch or dinner, it's important to check out what's on the menu. Then ask your host if there's any vegetarian dish.

As a speakeasy enthusiast myself I definitely agree to the fact that it is "hidden" but also it does kinda give corporate vibes a little bit - maybe we can say they "gentrified" the speakeasy experience which is honestly so funny for Palo Alto. But anyways I don't think a classification should stop you from visiting it. The food is actually surprisingly really good. We came with a pescatarian and honestly while the offerings for snacks were a bit slim, every option was really good. Tristan was my server and he was so friendly and kind! The space itself is really cool, with lots of plants for decor. For my drink, I got the hot spring spritz, which was a really refreshing choice for a hot day. I asked Tristan how many dishes we should order from the snacks and plates section since I did want to order something from the bigger plates section as well. Tristan recommended one from the snacks and one from the plates to accompany a bigger plate. It was more than enough food for two! The crispy quinoa tuna poke salad was my favorite thing of the night. I loved all the flavors, and the fresh herbs really rounded out the dish. The tuna was super fresh and the quinoa added a nice texture. The disco fries were super unique and had sweet and salty elements, but it wasn't my favorite dish of the night. The sticky pork shank was super tender and I loved the salads on the side it came with. The sauces were tasty too and complemented the pork well. Since we were celebrating an occasion, we were gifted a mango sticky rice for dessert, which was super nice of Valley Goat! The dessert was one of the best desserts I've had at a restaurant. The coconut foam was perfectly light to go with the sticky rice, and the mango ice cream had great flavor. The watermelon granita also added a fun flavor to round out a perfect bite. If you're looking for a nice dinner, definitely check out Valley Goat! Parking is easy in the attached lot.

At one point, when our daughter accidentally dropped her fork while playing, the reaction we received came across as frustration, which added to that feeling. We understand not every restaurant is designed for young children, but Broma presents itself as a place for friends and family. Instead, we felt like we had to constantly manage and overcorrect normal toddler behavior, which created stress and took away from what should have been a special occasion. Because of that, we didn't feel comfortable raising concerns during the meal when the server checked in--we were more focused on getting through the experience without drawing additional attention. We were also offered an off-menu item without any mention of price. The menu we were given did not list the smash burger, so when I ordered a double, I had no context for the cost. The final price was a surprise, and we would have made a different decision with that information upfront. The food itself did not match the price point. The "smash burger" was not prepared in the style typically expected, and overall the meal felt underwhelming for the cost. Lastly, the billing was confusing. The paper receipt listed "gratuity," while the digital receipt labeled the same charge as a "service charge," making it unclear whether an additional tip was expected. That lack of clarity does not align with the level of transparency expected at this price point. We don't mind paying for a great experience, especially for meaningful occasions, but this visit did not meet that standard and ultimately left us regretting our choice to celebrate here.

The music was really loud and I couldn't hear the conversation of the person with me so the Asian bartender helped us turn down the music a little. It wasn't until mid evening that I realized there was another bar in the back. The bartender told us the cocktails at Alter Ego were more fancy. Definitely instagramworthy! Tried two of the cocktails at Alter Ego. Overall, both have different vibes. Alter Ego is good for a more intimate dark setting date vibe. Service was pretty good at Still OG! The Asian bartender checked in several times and was really nice as well as provided some recommendations on which happy hour specials were most popular which helps since I'm indecisive. The back does seem like a more classy environment and I'd choose this setting over a dive bar any day. The music at still OG that they were playing at the time wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm sure they mix it up from time to time. I would love to hear some oldies!

The front was pretty full so we checked out Alter Ego first, but they were also full with nothing available until 11pm, so Still OG it was. You grab a spot yourself and then order at the bar. All cocktails are on tap, which actually ended up being great because I was between a few of them and the bartender was able to give me samples of them. We also ended up getting an order of the Chicken skewers, which were super tender and juicy. We were too late on our visit, but they do have a daily happy hour that includes some of the skewers and fries, as well as some drinks and shots. Service was super friendly and vibes and music were great! Cocktails, weren't the best since they were on tap, but still good enough! I would absolutely come back here for a drink and snack though!

I don't want to write about both restaurants on the Flowers page but I think it's worth calling out that the service / hospitality and craftsmanship for both food and drink in both restaurants are standout. For drinks, we ordered the Flowers Old Fashioned and Cantarito. For the Cantarito, I loved the tart passion fruit with the slight carbonation of the grapefruit soda--this was definitely my kind of drink! For food, we shared everything: tuna wonton tacos, prawn cigars, duck with risotto, scallops, and brussel sprouts. This was the perfect amount of food, as we left full and satisfied but not stuffed. The tuna wonton tacos had a good amount of tuna, and had a such a punch of (well-balanced) flavors; I loved the touch of heat. The duck was also incredibly tender with a crispy outside, and I think the natural fattiness / oiliness of the duck paired well with the relatively sharp, Parmesan flavor of the risotto. I also enjoyed the flavors and sauces with the other dishes but those two aforementioned were my favorite. Lastly, the bread pudding for dessert was excellent! It was the perfect size to share, and I loved the various crunchy "garnishes", from the graham cracker crumbs to the caramelized sugar piece and the little chocolate balls. Will definitely come back again to try more of the menu!

We started with the beef carpaccio and it was tender and delicious. We also had the shrimp cigars and two old fashioned. For main course I had the miso cod and it was tender and very flavorful- the miso saturated the entire fish. Going forward I would have ordered a vegetable to pair with it. My husband ordered the duck and that was a bit disappointing. They hadn't rendered the fat properly so the skin was chewy rather than crisp. The duck was slightly on the tough side. On a very positive note, the wines are market price rather than the large markup you see in most restaurants. The chocolate cake was overly dense. Since it was a birthday celebration they also brought out little chocolate cream filled cups that were delicious. We will definitely return.

Fresh florals on every table and in garnishes for the drinks! They had the FIFA World Cup on their flat screen above the bar. Drinks: Garden Spritz and the Ube matcha latte - not too overly sweet but great flavor and not too much alcohol! Would come back to order the other options they have. Food: Crispy thoroughly cooked through diced potatoes are to die for. I still remember the crisp crunch. The chicken waffles? I don't usually get these but this is a place I would definitely come back to just so I can eat this one specifically because I know it's good. The chicken was tender and not dried out, the waffles had flavor and the proportion was perfect!

Final Thoughts: 4.20/5.0…read more Contrary to many other opinions, I personally really like brunch. It really is more for the vibes and spending time with my friends and family versus the food sometimes. For some reason, this place has always been on my list of to-go brunch places, but I've just never had the chance to go here. After our matcha run, my friend and I decided to go here for brunch. It was around a 45 minute wait today. On their Yelp, appears to be quite the quaint place to to get food and relax. Will definitely be a 4 star for me. Food: Jumbo Crab Bene with seasonal fruit: 4.0/5 This is their fresh lump crab with sliced avocado, whole grain mustard and poached eggs stacked on lightly toasted English muffins, topped with scratch made Hollandaise sauce and garnished with locally sourced microgreens. This is served with either house potatoes or seasonal fruits. The lump crab is actually fresh crab I believe. There are some pieces of the shell that were still in there. I'm honestly not even mad because that's a pretty big indicator that it's the fresh crab meat picked out. The egg is nicely poached with a runny yolk. Hollandaise sauce is quite nice and light. The Dijon mustard was quite strong for me and did overwhelm some of the other flavors on the plate. It does add a nice flavor, but occasionally, it was too much. For the English muffin, it was quite thick, so it felt kind of dry. It's noted to be slightly toasted, but its somewhat hard to tell with the mustard, crab meat, and poached egg on top, which are mainly wet items. Avocado is perfectly ripe. I'm not an avocado person, but this one did it just right for me. The fruits came with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Very refreshing and needed after the savory foods. Philly Steak Sandwich with garlic fries: 4.0/5 This sandwich has grilled steak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms topped with provolone cheese on a toasted baguette with mayo and a light teriyaki drizzle. Will come with either a side of house salad or garlic fries. I really liked how they caramelized the onions and peppers inside of this. There's that additional sweetness from it that works well with the steak and cheese. Very tender meat. The bread also seemed kind of big and just almost dry too. Not too big of a concern given the amount of filling that they give. My friend choose the garlic fries and those were amazing. The cut is just right and the crisp on the outside is just so good. You can taste the garlic, but I could do with even more garlic to it. --------- Quality: Fresh Something I really like is that they use real crab in their jumbo crab bene. You can actually feel the tiny pieces of the shell in it, which usually means its fresh. The food did take a second to come out, but both were piping hot. My friends onions and veggies were quite caramelized, which is nice. Brings out a lot of the flavor component in the sandwich. The fries were actually so good too. I wanted the side of garli fries, but it was convenient that his came with it. Super crispy, nice size, flavor is good. May need a little more fresh garlic, but overall, really good. Price: Reasonable Prices seem reasonable for what they give. Initially, it does lean more on the expensive side, but their portion sizes are larger than your average brunch place. Prices will range from between $18 to $24, with a few outliers. Service: Very sweet workers Very nice service here. Everyone was sweet, greeted us, and checked on us. Our food did take a little longer than some others around us. For us, it was around a 25-30 minute wait after ordering our food. Even the table next to us that were seated after got their food first. The food did come out fresh, so I'm not really complaining. They did let us know and give us little updates about our wait and food though. Ambiance: Classic Brunch Spot The space is nice and looks slightly cramped inside. It was just my friend and I and they gave us a seat right in the corner next to the window. Honestly, probably the best spot for me and the person who seated us also noted that it was his favorite spot in the house. I didn't see much beyond from what was seen by the door. The space looks fairly small, but fit a decent amount of tables with walking space in between still. Always love the open kitchen. It's fun to watch what happens behind the scenes. Location/Parking: Large space It's located right on Saratoga Avenue. There is a Lucky grocery store here, so there is a lot of parking around. We really didn't have any concerns finding a space at all.

My husband and I had a baby free night out to celebrate my birthday and haberdasher did not disappoint. I was even wished a happy early birthday. When going into the bar, you walk down a staircase into a space that makes you forget you're in downtown San Jose with beautiful reds and burgundy decor. The staff is all smartly dressed; the bartender and bar back were both sweet and funny. I ordered a jack rose (my all time favorite), their seasonal watermelon waltz (this may be a new favorite for me, nice and refreshing) and one of their zero proof cocktails called a Mariposa which was soooo good as well.
