My one kid got vanilla with double caramel, the other vanilla with fresh raspberries and cherries. Couldn't pick a winner as they were both delicious in different ways... the kind of delicious where you savor and enjoy every spoonful. I had a small cone and enjoyed every lick. I was trying to look for the Wisconsin Swiss Sourdough, but they only had the Sourdough Melt with cheddar cheese. I was also looking for their huge selection of soups....they only had broccoli cheddar and vegetable beef that day. When I pointed out to the cashier she said yeah, "a lot of people tell us our menu isn't the same as online." She didn't really tell me why. I ended up with the Sourdough Melt (a little bit greasy, but good) and sub broccoli cheese soup (instead of fries). My lunch ending up costing $9.55 (yikes). The soup--creamy with plenty of broccoli chunks. Not the best, but not too too bad either. It's tolerable. Haven't been to Culver's in a while and decided to have a family meal here while at the colony. Wrong choice!! The customer service was horrible! Sure they greeted us upon entering, and that was about it. They over charged me, and after the transaction was complete is when I noticed. (I should've noticed before) but upon making her (the "owner") aware it was incorrect. She stated she couldn't do anything about it, they don't do refunds or take anything back! I was charged for double burgers instead of single. She said unless you say you want single that's what it is. Most places is the opposite. But she didn't state that. Then she asks the manager "what do you want to do? " But she is the "owner" so together they decided they wouldn't help me by fixing the issue, we hadn't eaten the food at this point yet or nothing. After that I'm just standing there and they just busied themselves as to not face the awkwardness of me standing there. She also added items to my order that I didn't order at all. If you visit this location, please double check your order before paying. They both will reap what they sow, you can't be blessed by cursing someone. Being kind has never hurt anyone! On Aug 13 2022 visited Culver's in The colony Texas and they completely messed up my order. Drove 20mins home then realized. So I proceeded to call and I was placed on hold waiting for a manager for literally 15min to then hung up on. Proceeds to call back several times sends me to voicemail. Very unprofessional ratchet dirty, cold food half filled Italian ice and those drinks are not cheap we had 4 all was half way filled.. Let's not get on the bathroom conditions. This is a deluxe butterburger. It's supposed to come with lettuce and red onions. When you look at the pic on the menu, it looks delicious. This crap looks like they scraped the lettuce, onions and tomato off of another burger. What's crazy is I've eaten at Culver's in Austin and the quality is 10x better. What's crazy is the service was fantastic and there seemed to have a very knowledgeable manager on site. Too bad we aren't just paying for good service. Ultimately Culver's is supposed to be known for good service AND a quality product. This location fell way short. The two stars is for the service, but I'm not going here again. Wait was a little long on a Sunday, but the choice of food is excellent. Love the option to have walleye! Being a Minnesota boy it really made me feel good. This is my second visit to this location and third time ever at a Culver's. This was at far the best visit. We dined in and ordered several different menu items. Chicken tenders kids meal was devoured by my niece who only eats 7 items ever. She said this was her new favorite place to get chicken. A plus as well was the coupon to get a free scoop with a kids meal purchase. The custard was delightful as well. My parents both got a chicken sandwich and enjoyed fries and onion rings with them. They said their meals were great as well I ordered the cod strip and yum! Best fried fish from a quick dining establishment ever! The tarter sauce was good and tasted made in house as well. The best part (other than the food) was the service. My first time dining in and they bring your food when it's ready. They will check on you as they walk by serving other customers and fill any request. We often hear controversy on minimum wage being raised and $15 an hour being to much for fast food establishments but they actually care here and go the extra mile. I would like to come back often BUT this is still fast food and my waste line can't afford to visit here often. This will be on the top of my "cheat" list going forward. read more

I would have to say I have had much better burgers in my life. While what I had tasted fresh, I've seen more meat on Nicole Richie then on their burgers. It looked like a very thin, very well done piece of meat, between two buns. The onion rings were pretty good, and I must say that the frozen custard wasn't bad either, but that's as far as it goes with the good news. The staff, while friendly, was very unattentive and seemed far more involved within themselves to gossip and chat, then to take care of customers, as the manager seemed far more interested in a sports game on the television to even notice. Walked in at 2:45 on a Friday afternoon, the place was very well staffed, one girl taking orders and when we got to her because there was a line of about 4-5 people she could not take the order, didn't know how to, seemed very lost because we asked for one burger plain and dry and she put her hands on her head like it was something major happening or too much for her to handle. After about 15 minutes waiting for our order a young man with a visor brought it and didn't know where he was going with it because the girl didn't give us a number or a receipt. We asked for mustard and ketchup and he brought it and said he was refilling the ketchup and would be a minute before he brought it. We watched him walk around and do nothing, then he walked out to take an order to a car and came back in and still no ketchup, he forgot. Most of the employees were just standing or moving around doing nothing until the manager came out and a lady also came out of the back when we were leaving. Holy moly! My fiancé is from Chicago and caught this empty little gem as we passed by. Apparently this is a big deal in Chicago...we do not have this in Maryland (that I know of) We are both new to DFW area & agree the food scene leaves a lot to be desired...unless you wanna eat Pho everyday. While not the best burger you will find in DFW, Culver's is perhaps the best "fast casual" burger I have had in some time. Burgers are made to order fresh and are good, but not great. What really sets Culver's apart from the competition is the inviting atmosphere in which you can enjoy the somewhat pedestrian burger and fries. Culver's has a much broader menu than other burger joints which includes fried chicken, fish and chips, and even a pot roast sandwich. I have not tried any of the other items yet. As for the sides, the crinkle cut fries are fresh, hot and VERY good. The onion rings are good too. But, my favorite side item is the cheese curds. You won't find these anywhere else that I know of, and they are delicious. A real Wisconsin staple, the fried cheese curds are best when dipped in ranch dressing. But, they are only good while they are hot, so don't let them sit too long and get cold. I prefer Culver's to the new Freddy's across the way on 121. We have made this our new weekly burger spot and will be back. read more

Overpriced and mediocre tasting! I got a bacon cheeseburger combo with fries with cheese curds. I ordered through the drive thru and had a little wait for my food which I never mind because that means to me it will be fresh, or at least it should be fresh. I skipped out on a shake/ice cream because I felt I had already ordered to much and I just knew I'd be back. My burger looked very good and was well put together but it was very disappointing, the burger was not hot, the meat was not seasoned and the burger tasted old. The fries which are crinkle cut were also not hot and they were just ok. My cheese curds which were piping hot was the best thing from my order which was a letdown seeing as how I ordered them as an after thought.
