My family lives in Wisconsin, so I've been enjoying Culver's for a looooong time. I was so excited when they came to Texas! Cheeeeeeese curds... super yas. So good! The custard is fresh and creamy. And the butter burgers are juicy. Always a great experience. If you haven't been here, give it a try! Remember that they make every order fresh to order, so even in the drive thru, it takes prob 5-10mins. So plan ahead, but it's worth it! read more

Absolutely burnt hamburger meat. Not wild about the Buddha display. It makes many customers uncomfortable. Custard pretty good.

Food was ok. Prices are outrageous. Very small chocolate shake 8 dollars. Maybe I'm old but it was very small and 8 dollars.

I'll give this place a 3 stars for now, but I expect to come back and try more and possibly give it an upgrade. Came on Sunday morning at about 11am. They sent us a free sundae coupon in the mail. Sundaes and concretes come with two topping options. I think we got into the hype and tried the flavor of the month for the free sundae. I think it was some type of strawberry shortcake with chocolate chips. And as our two toppings we got fudge and caramel syrup. I guess we weren't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be like the strawberry ice cream in Neoplaton ice cream. And that's definitely not my fav. So I'll chalk that one up to part customer ordering error. We also got a concrete with brownie and Oreos and that was pretty good. I believe a regular size, which is pretty big goes for $3.28. It's a nice place though and I'm sure I will be back, however Shakes frozen custard in Carrollton is a better custard imo! read more

Yummy!! I like the Cheese ButterBurger. In my opinion, I thought the size of the burger was pretty small. The crinkle cut fries are great but the cheese curds are better. Charbroiled goodness! I got the double delux burger with cheese curds! So good! Don't forget to ask for ketchup and mustard/mayo! A little pricey but good! I have never been to Culvers but my wife brought me back a Reuben sandwich from Culvers at the Colony. I am from New York City and a little bit of a snob about deli sandwiches, however, their Reuben sandwich was one of the best sandwichesI have had in a very long time, I look forward to actually going to Culvers and trying a variety of what's on the menu. The burgers are on the small side compared to other restaurants with similar pricing. Additionally, I am not sure what the point of the drive-thru is when you must take a number and park. It is the same experience as walking in and ordering and waiting with a number. Very inconvenient drive-thru compared to the competition. Finally, they are completely confused when you order a burger and don't want the meal. Ask them to hold the tomato or make the cheeseburger mayo only and it is mass chaos. This has happened on three separate visits. In summary, good food if a little overprice and inconvenient drive-thru. read more

Worth going just for the fried cheese curds alone. Every time I have been for drive thru, yes, I've had to pull over and wait- I don't mind as the food is made after you order...keep in mind if you're ordering a couple of milkshakes and burgers for your car, they actually cook/craft it AFTER you order so if you're bothered that it takes so long to make them and that they can't whip it all together in under a minute to give you at the window, either order a fountain drink/don't order multiple burgers next time and don't complain that your wait is due to the fact you're ordering item(s) that are more time consuming to make. Drive thru is still worth it for me considering I have three kids in carseats and would rather pull over to wait for them to bring my food out to me vs unbuckling all my minions and taking them inside. Burgers are very tasty. It's not gourmet but definitely a good alternative to the typical fast food burger chains. read more

If you like your burgers buttery, your buns soft, and your fries hot, Culver's never disappoints! This location isn't even half as busy as the Mckinney one but all the better for us! Order taker girl was a little dense but she was sweet. Love their Culver's brand of diet root beer and their flavor of the day custard is a way to try something new every single day of the month! Texas fast food restaurants must have some kind of deal with the gov't to only hire people incapable of earning any other kind of work. Ordered an original butterburger and was told it only comes with the patty and the bun. Asked for lettuce tomato and mayo. Burger came with cheese on it. Cheese was NEVER in the conversation. So my wife researched burger joints that aren't as wide spread as say, McDonald's and Wendy's, but more-so along the lines of whataburger and in&out Burger and she came across this place. Many people claimed it was better than In&Out so we decided to of course give it a try. I ordered the Wisconsin Swiss melt and she ordered the classic butter burger double with bacon. I also got the cheese curds and fries. I must say, this is my new fav burger joint when comparing to In&out Burger and even whataburger. The patties has a nice sear on the outside and was very juicy and just overall was very good and satisfying. The cheese curds were also good. This is the BEST ice cream (Okay Okay , custard). I base this on the fact that I can place my remaining ice cream in the freezer, then take it out a few days later only to have it still taste as delicious as the first day. Regular soft serve from other places does not do this! Usually the ice cream is ruined by putting in it the freezer for later, but Culver's has solved this dilemma. The burgers are good. My husband thinks they are the best. I really like the crispy chicken sandwich. The fries are usually very good. I tried the cheese curds, but they just seemed like mini cheese sticks. We went tonight (Wednesday) around 8:30 and got two concrete mixers. We decided to go inside to pick out our mixins. While waiting, we were standing in front of the counter and two guys were back there with bare hands handling the food, equipment, etc. One burger was almost done and they realized they requested no lettuce, so they just reached in bare handed and grabbed the pile off. Then, they're checking their phone, then taking the next order...all while the person I assume is the shift manager is asking them where the next order is, saying nothing else and sort of joking with them. I'm staring at them in disbelief and they realize what I'm pointing out to my husband and all of the sudden towards the end, all 3 in the back are donning gloves. So I was craving a cheeseburger and thought to myself, man I haven't tried Culver's yet. Why not give it a shot? So I went through the drivethru and ordered a butter burger and fries and an unsweet tea. Mind you, this was a late night last minute meal. It was delicious! I'd show you a picture but I ate it too fast. The burger was hot and cheesy and the fries were crisp and the tea was fresh. I saw some fancy concrete things being advertised that grabbed my interest - I'll be back to try those as well. 10/10 Worth a fast food choice again. read more

Came here for dinner with 2 other friends. Got this mushroom Swiss snack meal w/ cheddar cheese sauce and cheese curds (it was my first time there so I wanted to try everything lol). The sides were good, absolutely loved the curds, but the burger could use some work. Can't put my finger on it, but I just didn't like it. But it's a nice establishment, and they also have custard and really good root beer. I can't really recommend the burgers, but them sides pretty good! read more

I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the service and propmtness of the workers. They were very attentive to my needs and also very friendly. The burger was magnificent. I went to Culvers a few weeks ago, because I had never been and I was interested in the cod sandwich. The drive thru employee taking orders tried more than once to get me to try their Walleye sandwich, I declined one because I wanted cod and two because I had never had it. It didn't take very long for the order to be completed, but the sandwich had a different taste that cod. I was not at all pleased with my purchase! It was a tight fit, to be sure, but our meal was a success. For starters, great food - a solid fast food burger, excellent crinkle cut fries, and of course there's the custard. That topped it off. Also didn't break the bank. Bonus. But beyond that, Mike and his crew were courteous, efficient, and went out of their way to do their best to accommodate us, which was a tall order considering the size of our group. Burgers were a little too greasy for me. Tried the butter burger and fish. Both were way too greasy. However! Cheese curds are super tasty though. And Culver's has to have some of my most favorite french fries ever. They are up there with Dilla's famous seasoned fries. I adore crinkle cut and the texture is on point. Just the right amount of crispy! Ice cream was ok, Im big on depth when it comes to flavor so it wasn't up to my liking. It's more like a frozen yogurt consistency?
