My first visit to any Culver's to order dinner for my family of five, one of which has Celiac Disease and requires a gluten-free menu. Since this location does not have online ordering available, I took the time to go over the online menu and come prepared with my order. Thankfully I asked for my receipt to verify the order because, from experience, I don't trust drive-throughs to get my order correct. The staff got my order incorrect and two staff members tried to assist me but weren't helpful at all. Then the manager got involved and offered to re-make my order. When I arrived home, I found that the gluten-free burger was simply a cheese-covered patty in a box with a separate GF bun, which was not what I expected. Furthermore, the patty had cheese on it after I explicitly told the staff and the manager no cheese for the GF burger. My daughter doesn't like cheese. Sadly, my daughter ate no dinner last night after I paid $35 to feed my family. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and he apologized and complained that the menu photos on the website do not accurately reflect how the burgers are made. I still don't understand the difference between a Butterburger and Culver's Deluxe. There's a reason burger chains like In-N-Out, P.Terry's, and Mighty Fine keep their menus simple and not confusing. Even the Culver's manager said there is a disconnect with corporate on how the menus are presented on the website which he agreed was confusing. It was one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had. However, I do have to say the items that we received correctly were very tasty and certainly a pretty good burger and fries. No complaints about the food, just the confusing ordering, incorrectly made items, time wasted to remake my order for it still to be incorrect, and the look of disappointment on my daughter's face when she saw melted cheese all over her burger patty plus the sadness of her not eating dinner last night because of it. She's a picky eater and she declined my offer to take off as much of the melted cheese I possibly could. :::sigh::: I doubt I'll be back to Culver's anytime soon, especially with all the other burger options nearby including the legendary Texas favorite, Whataburger just a few blacks from the Culver's. I've been going to Whataburger since I moved to Texas and have never had a single issue or error made by them. read more

Whoever is working the drive thru at this location is so incredibly rude. 6/11 at 2:20 pm. They couldn't get my order clear, she rambled it off to me so quickly I couldn't even understand what she said, never handed me a receipt then slammed the window shut in my face before I was even finished speaking. Luckily Lucy that was standing there saw whatever her name was do this and opened this window back up to help me. My order was completely wrong and I never received a receipt. Sorry I had a small child sleeping in the backseat otherwise I would have gone in to fix it. I've gone to 2 locations in Austin, and each time it seems like those locations are either dirty, or get bad service. When I stumbled on this on a couple weeks ago, I was excited. Only 2 months old, very clean inside, and the food was very delicious. Manager is very friendly and connects well with the guests. New favorite place after Church on Sundays. read more

Low rating for the pre-packed pints. Last month, I bought the Oreo Overload and I opened it at home to find vanilla custard with just a few Oreo bits on top. Last night, I tried again. I bought the Oreo Overload and when I opened it at home, it was chocolate custard (which was right), but still with exactly 3 bits of Oreos in the entire container. The rest was just plain chocolate. The menu says Oreo Overload is chocolate custard "loaded with Oreo cookie pieces and streams of chocolate syrup." Experience says otherwise. read more

Sat a very long time in line. Pricey and did not provide all my items. Bought the three piece Cod and got home to find No Cole slaw or any tarter sauce. Over $20 bucks for dry fish and forgotten Cole slaw. I called and asked to speak to a manager. For some Lead on the phone named Blake. Said they would review the video footage to determine if cashier actually forgot to give me my complete order. Such a disappointment! Be very careful eating here!! I went through the drive-in three cars were served before me. The sweet little girl at the window neither washed her hands or had any hand sanitizer to use! I have a standard order at least one day a week since this location opened. Jen and her staff are great. This location has been clean and we'll maintained everytime I've gone in. I like the delicious food at Culvers. The people here are very friendly. My favorite to eat here especially is the beer battered cod dinner. My kids like the chicken strips and the pot roast. The salads are always super fresh. The cheese curds are delicious. Of course we always love the fresh custard and the variety of custard flavors. read more

Terrible first experience. Fiancé and i were passing by and decided we would try this place out! We got there probably 20 minutes before closing and noticed the drive thru had been closed so my fiancé went inside to order. He came back out empty handed and when i asked him what the heck he said he had given our entire order just for the guy taking our order to go to take his debit card pause and say "oh actually, we closed down the grill so we can't make this for you." And handed him back his debit card. If you knew the grill was closed, why did you take his order? And even recommend a meal instead of al a cart? Overall a very annoying experience. Had the cashier just said they were closed we would've said okay! Our bad for coming late. And went somewhere else. Also, why is the grill shut down if the store is still open? My first time ever eating Culver's was today. My husband and I came in. Being our first time we didn't know what to expect. We both got the value basket. To us they tasted like any other fast food burger. Nothing special. Ours was pretty dry. Not much flavor either. The custard was decent but nowhere as good as Andy's. The reason for the two stars the cashier was a sweet girl. The dining was clean enough too. We both said we wouldn't come back based on the food not appealing to us. read more

Just had my first experience at Culver's and it was a terrible one. I got in the drive-thru line before closing time, there were some slow customers and they refused to take my order because they were then closed. The manager only made an effort to repeat himself. Ordered a burger and seemed it had more grease than meat (not sure what was more wet, my drink or my bun). Ordered, and was charged for, bacon, but none on my burger. My concrete, which I had to remind them I ordered, (brought me my food and tried to send me off without it), was more like an already melting, runny milkshake - very disappointed. Fries were decent, but not warm enough and they forgot the ketchup, even though I confirmed I wanted it. Employees were relatively nice/polite, but did not speak clearly, especially in the drive thru. No plans to return and would not recommend to others. read more

Extremely slow, dry burgers and awful owner and management . My fiancé went there the first time and they messed up our order big-time so the manager comped us our next meal. She went in there the next time and that manager was not there but the owner was there and questioned why we are getting a free meal and said that she would've never given us a free meal just because they messed up the order. As far as fast food goes, this place is great. Lots of choices, the food has always been hot and fresh, and always get it relatively quick. Their buffalo chicken tenders and their butter burgers are super tasty. Would reccomend. read more

Lived in Iowa for 10 years. Loved Culver's. The one on Braker is ok. Was hoping for better form this one. Cheese should be melted on the burger, no just cold and sitting there. I get it, you're new, it takes time to work the kinks out, but melting cheese on a burger should not be one. That's burger 101. read more

I really enjoyed the friendly folks who work here. The food was great. The root beer is special. I had always wanted to try the frozen custard so I tried the vanilla. If you can't do vanilla right then you can't just cover it up with candy or fruit! It was wonderful! I am a new fan. I almost didn't try this place because of the reviews. I drove past this place for 2 months before trying it! I'm so glad I did because it was delicious!! I had the butterfly jumbo shrimp & my husband had the chicken 4 piece combo! The breading is so yummy & crispy! The shrimp definitely taste fresh. Really good burger and fast food restaurant! Easily accessible off Highway 79 in Round Rock, Texas. Plenty of parking, clean establishment with friendly service. Great variety of foods! I highly recommend the fried cheese curds! The hamburgers are fantastic too! They taste like real old fashioned hamburgers. Helpful and friendly staff ready and willing to assist you. This restaurant is not owned by corporate so we regularly see the owners around. It's refreshing to see a family-run business around here. I tried Culver's for the first time recently with my wife and kids. We ordered and 2 of the 4 orders were totally wrong. Manager apologized and explained that they were understaffed. She didn't do anything to make it up other than correct the order. After dinner all 4 of us ordered custard. 2 of those were wrong too :( That should have been my last trip there but they had a Facebook add for a buy one get one concrete on "national custard day." We went and ordered just to find that they don't honor coupons at this location. Now I definitely won't be back. Too many better places that actually care in the area. read more

If I could give zero stars I word. First off we went there through the drive-through window I ordered the fish dinner. When I got home the fish dinner was not fully cooked. I did not want to complain on their website. I thought I would give them a call just to let the manager know. When I called I had someone on the phone that said that they were The owner's wife her name was Jen she sounded like she was probably 20 but the fact of the matter is when I told her about my situation and she was rude showed no empathy do not want to help me she only said that she would check the temperature of the fryers and get back to me. she did not apologize she did not show empathy and I know she was not the owner's wife I cannot believe I got this type of service when I called in to talk to a manager. She could've said she was the shift leader the manager of the day but she did not have to say she was the owners wife then she did not have to call me bud or dude I cannot believe the poor customer service I received from culvers today not to mention my fish still was not fully cooked very disappointed read more

Culver's has become "my go to place". It's incredible. The salads are fresh. None of that "take it out of a bag" and serve it. I have always loved curds and was astounded to find it on a menu. Their custards are yum, yum great. I went with my family and everyone tried something different and was very happy with their food. The only complaint I have is everyone else has discovered Culver's too. Sometimes the drive thru is really busy but that's not stopping me. read more
