This place is great for what it is. Custard is awesome. Burgers are good. Chicken tenders are good. Love the fried cheese curds.

This was our 2nd and final experience at Culver's on Park Blvd. Sunday evening so we thought we would stop for milkshakes and onion rings. The young girl taking the order was incompetent. We waited more than a reasonable time for two shakes and an onion ring in the drive through. We ordered one small shake and one large shake. The menu board lists the "small" as 2.99 the only other size "regular" as 3.89. When i paid at the window I was charged 5.29 for the large shake and told there was nothing they could do. I questioned the charge but paid hoping for an amazing shake and no luck. Culver's will never see my family or another dollar from us. Which is their loss, I sure that I would be in their ideal demo and frequent the pdq, chic filet and dq and other restaurants in the area. The manager and window gal's apathy will likely run off many potential customers. read more

Okay, where do I start ? Well, I had been here a couple times by Drive Thru, where service was somewhat slow, but acceptable for a made to order burger. The frozen custard is actually delish, and a few times I just got that. Burger from Drive Thru was tasty, but pretty darned greasy. Decided to go inside for a burger recently. What a mistake ! When you first come in - it's a Cluster%&^k ! Can't tell where the line is or where exactly to order. The kids they have working are too busy talking to each other to wait on anyone, and only when I asked - are you working or what ?- did I get any service. Since they put too much "butter" on the previous burger buns, I asked for "no butter" on my single burger (bun). Of course, that put them into a tailspin, (guess no one's ever asked for that before), and I knew I was in for it. They give you a number, and you sit down to wait for the food. Okay, 5, 10, then 15 mins goes by. I ask about my burger, to be told "Well the drive thru's backed up and we're shorthanded. We serve the drive thru first." Okay, good to know. "serve the drive thru first"? Really ? So why bother ever coming inside ? Another 5 mins goes by. At this point I was quite irritated and asked to speak to the manager. "We're shorthanded. He's working the grill right now and can't come out to talk". At this point I'd waited close to 25 mins for my burger, and was ready to demand my money back and leave, but then the kid gives me a coupon for a free meal and a "yours is coming right out", so I waited again. Sat back down, and after a few more mins., finally they bring out my burger. (waited about 30 mins total), and guess what ?!! Not only did the bun have TONS OF BUTTER, I also received a "Double", not the single I ordered ! So all the waiting for what I had assumed was for "no Butter", I still got Butter on the wrong size burger. GGGRRR.. At this point, I sopped up as much grease as I could with a napkin, and ate about half of a bigger burger that I didn't want. I complained to the kid who seemed to be the only crew member that actually cared, and he apologized. I told him they really need to get their act together, and he just kept saying "we're understaffed, and people called in sick". My advice - Avoid this place except maybe for going thru the drive thru for a delicious frozen custard. The hamburger meat itself tasted good, but it's really pretty greasy with the buttered bun. I'm not sure what it is about this particular location. The ice cream/ custard always has ice in it. Perhaps it is a cost saving measure or a bad machine but like I said it's only this location. read more

I have been here a few times and this is what happens. The burgers are extremely greasy and lack luster. The fried chicken is dry if they even have any, and the service is what you would expect if 12 year Olds were running the show. The last time we went, they forgot our banana split. When we went back, they acted like it was my fault, gave me an overflowing container in the drive thru and when we went to eat it, there was an extremely green banana at the bottom. Do you know what happens when you eat green bananas? I didn't, but I do now. Lots of nauseating GAS. My husband passed gas all night long. I had to sleep in another room. Even my bulldogs were like WTF, Dad. Needless to say, I was surrounded by 5 furry animals trying to escape the assault of dad's butt. My husband said he had the worst belly ache and couldn't stop passing gas. Even the next day at work, his boss almost sent him home. I don't get this place. The entry sequence and ordering process is quite a cluster$&@$. There is no queuing line with people coming in from 2 sides so nobody knows where to stand. The ordering area is really shallow too. It is just a really poor restaurant design with respect to customer flow. The food is similar to Steak and Shake. While the burgers are ok the crinkle cut fries are nothing special and quite bland (think store bought frozen fries). The decor is really odd too - if their concept is farm fresh family style it doesn't show. I might go back to try their ice cream but not for lunch or dinner. read more

I was kind of happy that Culvers was coming to my neighborhood because we had them in MN and I liked them. I thought that since their parking lot was often crowded it was a good sign...but no. though i visibly saw 3 culver's team members inspect my order, i was missing two items: two chocolate milks w/the kid's meals. this happened before, at the park blvd/pinellas park culver's (on that visit a side order of a basket of fries). so i decided to avoid that location altogether and patronize the park blvd/seminole location. it seems that errors occur frequently with large family orders. a shame really, because overall i have been very pleased with both the value and taste of the food offered. this will definitely play a role in which fast food establishments to do business with, especially now that a new zaxby's opened up on park blvd and belcher rd., which is closer to my residence than the aforementioned culver's locations. i will reproduce this review on social media and other websites as part of overall customer awareness. read more

The cashier was very helpful and friendly the first time I came in and helped me decide what to pick out as the menu is huge. Can't judge on the food, as I've only had custard here on two different occasions, which is absolutely amazing. From the other reviews it doesn't sound like the food is good so I'll stick with the desserts. read more

This is the third time I have placed an order. Every time the burger was burnt to a crisp the last time I asked for no cheese on my double deluxe got cheese and asked for no onions on my single deluxe and got onions. On a spur of the moment decision, we decided to try the drive thru at this new restaurant. We've never eaten at Culvers before and won't again. After taking our order and money (lots of it) we pulled to the side with four other cars to wait for our food...waited at least ten minutes till they brought it out. After that you would think the food would be nice and fresh, but my husband's burger and onion rings were over cooked and only mildly warm - the cheese curds were also over cooked and barely warm. Good sandwich. Beef pot roast but I ordered their desert which they called flavor of the day. When it came it was about one table spoon of frozen custard a drizzle if I guess what they called caramel and no chocolate or nuts. A complaint to management got a response of I'll make sure they add it all in the future. No compensation or apology for what I paid full price and got a very small portion of basically plain custard. read more

It's a little pricey but he atmosphere is what you are their for. From their abundant selection of thick ice creams to their made to order burgers. Not too busy most days. Entrance is a little tricky as Park Blvd and the light to get into Home Depot intersect. read more

Burgers are scrumptious, juicy & flavorful. We went to drive through. I got the swiss & mushroom burger (single patty but standardly has two) & my daughter got "cheese fries" and ice cream. Positive: The ice cream was really creamy & good. She thought the cookies would be swirled in, but they were just on top. No big deal, just wanted to mention. Negative: I asked if they had cheese fries. The girl said yes. I then asked if the cheese was on top or was it just served on the side. She said it's on the top, so we got them. The fries were hot, crinkle cut but a small container of cheese was provided. She had to dip the fries into the cheese sauce. That was a little disappointing. Finally, we had to pull to the side to wait for our food which was okay because it came out hot and fresh. But the order wasn't complete. They gave me just my burger and the ice cream and forgot about the fries. So I had to call the girl back and ask for those. read more

So sad that the one fast food restaurant I thought I could count on for great food and great service is slowly sliding into the lake it is next to. I have ordered that same thing for ages-single butter burger and a soda ( or strawberry mango smoothie). Burger always came with lettuce and lots of good sauce dripping off of it. What a disappointment when I bought lunch for the techs fixing my computer. 3 single burgers, 2 fries, 2 sodas and a smoothie. The burgers consisted of bun, cheese, meat. OMG are you serious? My kids are fans of Culver's and this was my child's request for his lunch at school on his birthday. I was running late to deliver his Culver's lunch so I called ahead to place an order. They said that since they just opened they were not taking call ahead orders for another 2 weeks. I explained how I was late for my son's lunch and they said they'd be more than happy to help me out. They took my order and when I arrived at the new location on Park they had the order ready. It shaved 10 minutes off my time and I was so grateful that they accommodated my request and helped me out in a pinch. Two thumbs up for customer service and the kids love the root beer! read more

First and last time I'll eat there. Cooked fries in some nasty, bitter oil that had terrible aftertaste - maybe the oil was old. Fries were also undercooked and I couldn't finish eating them. Chicken sandwich was dry and very bland and it was a chore to swallow it. At least there was bulk ketchup available to mask the taste of the fries. read more

I had no complaints about the food but the staff on the other hand was terrible. I arrived at the drive thru at 8:21 and had to wait about 15 minutes to order and that was only 3 cars ahead of mine. When I finally got to the ordering menu it took the lady a solid 5 minutes to start taking my order. I only order a single chicken sandwich and two concrete mixers. Then from there it took another 5 minutes to get to the pay window. When I pulled up to the window the young lady at the window was on the phone and didn't open the window for several minutes. When she finally opened the window she was very rude and had an attitude with me since I ordered my food. I just brushed it over my shoulder and paid. I noticed that my order was on the drive thru screen for 17 minutes and she deleted my order so the time limit would get recorded. My wife noticed this because she used to work at Chick fil a in the past. When I pulled my car forward I waited another 20 minutes for my chicken sandwich (only a sandwich, not including fries or anything extra). I had 2 cars behind me receive there order before mine. Then an employee came up and gave me a coupon for a free meal and apologized. I explained to him that the lady was extremely rude and I know why my order was "missing" and he told me that the young lady was removed from the drive thru and she was a new employee. But that was a lie because the young lady was still taking orders. She even came outside to talk to her friends in the car outside. An hour for one chicken sandwich and two ice creams seems completely unreasonable. Very upset with this service. read more

I do not recommend buying the Walleye Sandwich as the filet itself is very mushy and does not taste like Walleye (I eat a lot of Walleye in MN and WI in the summer months). I have never had a mushy Walleye fillet before, so I am not sure what causes it to be mushy. If you have never tried Walleye before, don't let this Culvers be the example - it does not even taste like Walleye. I ended up just throwing the sandwich in the trash. read more

Nice double cheeseburger--hot, tasty, crispy edges, with very good toppings. French fries were so hot I had to hold off for a few minutes so they were cool enough to eat--they were good but not spectacular. Wife had chicken strips that were hot, tender and spicy. Very clean restaurant, very nice staff. With a senior citizen's discount (10%), we had dinner for about $16, including our drinks, and had a good meal. Cleaner, nicer than the other fast food places, and better fare. We'll be back. read more
