Soo good, so sooo good! Me and the boyfriend were craving cupcakes at 8:30 one night and made it in time to pick up the BEST cupcakes we've ever had!! We got 4! Tonight we had the salty chocolate and the pina colada. The cake was super moist and the frosting was not too overbearing like some other places. It was awesome that they are open late, so we could get a late night fix. The girl working was super nice and informative about the flavors and let us know not to refrigerate them to so they don't dry out. If you don't try them you're really missing out! read more

Thanks for helping to make our college graduate's party so successful! We ordered 125 cupcakes, a combination mini, gluten-free, and full size. They were delicious as usual! Our guests loved the Baylor-themed decorations on the cupcakes! The display was beautiful! We also appreciate their flexibility. Amy, the owner, met my husband on Sunday (when the bakery is closed) so that we could pick up fresh cupcakes for our daughter's party that night since we were out of town Saturday. The cupcakes are the best! They are baked fresh everyday and the staff is always super nice and welcoming. It's also fun to see the fun new cupcake flavors and combinations they keep coming up with! It started with a nice gesture when a friend handed me a hot Green Chai Latte on the morning of my birthday. It was one of the BEST lattes I've ever had! I had not seen the "cupprimo" sticker on the side of the cup, so the next morning I went to Starbucks and ordered the same latte. Alas, the drink I got from Starbucks was double the price and nowhere near as delicious as the latte I had from Cupprimo. Fortunately, I was able to find the right location and noticed it is right across from where I work... so 3 months later I still find myself stopping by and grabbing my latte and a slice of breakfast quiche every other morning on my way to work. I often run late, and sometimes they even have it ready for me when I arrive. I couldn't ask for more..... Five stars, hands down! :) read more

My husband and I went here for cupcakes shortly after they opened a couple years ago, but weren't very impressed, the cupcakes were very grocery-store-quality. We didn't go back for a long time, but recently we decided to give them another try and were happy to find that they've changed their recipes and that now the cupcakes are larger, more moist, and come in a number of interesting flavors. We've only tried a few of the new cupcakes, but the Reeces cupcake is the best peanut butter cupcake I've tried anywhere. My favorite overall is the heath bliss cupcake, which is a moist chocolate cupcake filled with caramel and topped with some sort of good icing and heath bar chunks. The only thing that kept me from giving them five stars is that the service is reasonable but not great, and that they are a touch pricey. The price is in line with other gourmet cupcake shops ($2+ per cupcake), but it would be nice if they offered discounts by the dozen. They are definitely worth trying, or re-trying if you tried them before they changed their recipes. read more

I think this may be my favorite cupcake place in town. I've tried them about 3-4 times and the cake is right on. The last one I tried was an oreo cake and it was fabulous. It tastes very homemade unlike some in town. I love the variety of flavors and they're a great size. I also love that they sell good coffee too. That just makes sense! read more

Delicious cupcakes! My favorite is the primo vanilla it made me literally tear up it was so delicious. What's also nice is we got two free cupcakes with our purchase of four and they were the big cupcakes and the girl working there was new but she has a great personality and a good match for the cupcakery. I am here to sing the praise of Cupprimo's Gluten free cupcakes! I have quite a strong sweet tooth so i'm always on the hunt for a good cupcake. I think i have tried every single cupcake place in Austin that offers GF options. None of these places even comes CLOSE to Cupprimo's. Their cupcakes are always moist and they have new fun flavors every week! I also love that it's a big sturdy cupcake. They don't make them smaller than their other cupcakes like most places do. Although they don't have a dedicated GF kitchen, they do take steps to help prevent cross contamination. I have Celiac Disease so i have to be careful where I eat. I have never felt "glutened" after eating here. I love Cupprimo's!! read more

Although I patron this establishment weekly for business and think their product is the best in the area ,I feel the night staff really needs a lesson in customer service. I walked in this evening at 859pm and the girl at the counter was preoccupied playing with another customers child possibly a relative (who was behind the counter) when she looked up at me only to let me know it was now 9pm and well she had an online order for tres leches and umm I dont know??? But basically she wasn't selling us any cupcakes although the store had plenty left in the case. I'm.curious, will you serve those tomorrow or are they going home with the employee who refused business? read more

Cupprimo's management may have changed, but their quality hasn't. Same great coffee, same tasty cupcakes- with the addition of a spiffy new interior remodel (though I admit I kind of miss watching Amy's kids grow up with each new series of photos put on the walls!). We decided to try this place after friends recommended it. I had been wanting to try a cupcake place for awhile. The service was excellent, the owner (I presume) even brought us forks when she saw we were sharing with each other. I loved the chocoberry! My husband said the icing on the red velvet was excellent but he wasn't thrilled with the red velvet part. It was his first red velvet so I wouldn't judge it on that. So I stopped at this other cupcake place that sells their goods out of a streamliner. Very shiny and hard to miss. The cupcakes are good; they don't suck. But that made me realize even more how great and awesome the cupcakes at Cupprimo are. I love that Cupprimo's menu changes daily and they even add new ones every month that I've never had. All I have to say is "Honey Chai" cupcake! Quite possibly the best cupcake I have ever had. I have never craved a cupcake, or any dessert for that matter, as much as I do that cupcake. And that's just one of the many delectable treats they have to offer. Cupprimo offers up unique, flavorful, and ridiculously delicious cupcake creations; I have yet to find a single one that I didn't love. Found this place through their Groupon deal. Ended up getting cupcakes before Thanksgiving. My whole family really liked them and enjoyed being able to try a variety of flavors. I was very unimpressed by this bakery. At first glance the cupcakes were too small to be charging $3. My husband got the mustache cupcake, the flavor was good but after one bite it gave him a sugar headache (and he's a "big" guy). I got the red velvet cupcake which was completely dry and didn't even have cream cheese frosting (which is implied in a red velvet cake). Instead it was this sickly sweet frosting. Neither the cupcake or the frosting had any flavor. I can't comment on the rest of the cupcakes but with so many other options around Austin this experience was enough for me not to go back. read more
