I drove by this place after a long evening of working late and not having eaten dinner. Indian food quickly sounded very comforting. Since the buffet was almost empty late at night, I ordered a biriyani from the menu. It took a good 20 minutes to prepare so it seemed that they were making it fresh, versus picking it up from the buffet. I asked for medium heat. The box was very heavy and packed so portions were generous. I tried it when I got home. The meat was bone-in which to me is more authentic and tasty. Spice level was on the high side in terms of heat from chili. There were bell peppers in the biriyani which I have never seen, but it may be a regional thing. Service was polite and attentive. I have to say, although not in the business' control, I had a lot of people approach me in the parking lot to sell things and they were coming very close to me and my car. I felt uncomfortable - just something to look out for. There is a 7-11 there so traffic is heavy. read more

Every chance I get out around there, I go. :-) The people there are super nice and willing to give you samples as well as take special requests (I always ask for the Kathi chicken wrap with no onions because I'm allergic) if you need to. Everything smells great when you go in and even as a "hot bar" it still looks so pleasing! A double order of chicken tikki masala with garlic naan upgrade, a chicken kathi wrap (mild, no onions) and an order of veggie samosas is our go-to, now, but I always get a three-item combo, anyway, and get something else to add to it (so far, the coconut chicken, the chicken marsala and the chana marsala are good add-ons.. :-) . My friend brought curry in hurry to my place. I asked him to get me a garlic naan, which was really good. He let me eat some of his goat curry, which was phenomenal, and another red curry with chicken in it, which may be tikka masala. That was really good too. I think if you go here, you definitely need to eat the curry with the garlic naan because it just pairs really well. From being on FaceTime, it seemed that the staff was super friendly. I'm not really sure I can say much about the ambiance though, as I didn't eat there directly. They did give my friend samples to try out though, so that's always a plus! read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got a chance to this past weekend. I ordered the two item combo with chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. The two item comes with rice AND naan (I upgraded to garlic naan) and came out to around $16. The garlic naan was well worth the upgrade and they give you two generously sized pieces that were perfect to dip with the curries. The chicken tikka masala was pretty good and nice and creamy. I haven't had palak paneer in quite a long time and this one definitely hit the spot. Before I knew it, I had eaten all of my naan and almost all of my curry, while barely touching my rice. They just give you such a big serving of naan that the rice wasn't needed to enjoy the curry and I saved it for my lunch the next day. I love that this place has quick service and that you get your food right away so there's little wait if you're hungry. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

The veggie pakora is a bit of a let down, it's starchy and less flavorful. But the star of the day is chicken korma. It's almost like a thai green curry, but tastes more refreshing and a bit less aromatic. A soul food indeed. I don't recommend upgrading to garlic naan though, the original naan is just fine and the garlic version is not an elevated experience like other garlic naans in most indian places. No need to go to a sit down restaurant for legit indian food. I've been eyeing this place for a while and finally got around to trying it today. We were greeted by the friendly owner as we walked in. It's the type of place where you get a 1, 2, or 3 time combo starting at 9.99. As we were standing there trying to decide what to get, she let us try several options before we committed. I ended up getting the Chicken Tikka Masala (my go to and it didn't disappoint) and Chana Masala. My other half really loved his Chicken Korma. The combo plates came with rice and naan bread. It was a great deal and I had enough to turn it into 2 meals. Note that you don't have to order the combos, they have a la carte, samosas, lassi's, ice cream, etc., Everything I tried was delicious, it was as good as going to any of the restaurants in the area at a fraction of the cost. Eating out has become so expensive, it was nice to find something delicious and reasonably priced. They had a few tables to eat there and I saw a delivery sign for door dash. Parking was super easy as they share the same lot with 7-11. I love finding hidden gems, especially small family owned businesses. Please stop by and support them. read more
