Our food was clearly labeled and packaged so that we were able to set up, serve quickly and store some in our warmers. The pizza was cut into even portions and the wings were so plans juicy and sauced well! The food was delicious and we had so many coming back for 2nds. I was too busy with set up to get may pictures but we ordered 1 large veggie pizza, 1 large chicken finger pizza, 400 wings( plain, mild, medium, hot and bbq) and 7 sheets of pizza (cheese and pepperoni) and a large pan of salad.

Unfortunately, my hunt did not end here as it was not what I expect when I order sweet sauce; HOWEVER it was still fantastic sauce and the other items I ordered were great too. Let's start with my order: you can go to their website and select pick up or delivery. I selected pick up and the website does tell you what time to expect your food ready. In addition, you can join their rewards program. Their website is excellent, with very clear descriptions- and that includes the rewards! I ordered the small cheese pizza with sweet sauce, 10 wings medium, and funnel fries. Everything was delicious and filling! I'll start with my favorite: the funnel fries! Outside of a carnival-like settings, it's hard to find a good funnel cake. I often find them to bread like and chewy. These here at pizza works were the best I've had outside of the usual settings. You can get powdered sugar OR cinnamon sugar. I do recommend them for a sweet treat! Next, the wings! I love my wings super super crispy! Pretty much dried out lol. Although I haven't found a place to make them this way, I will say they were at least crispy, not soggy at all. The flavor was great and they were meaty. No taste of old fryer oil which is an issue I've had too many times at other places. I actually rarely order wings anymore because I can make them exactly as I like them in the air fryer; but I have no regrets with my wings super order here and I would order again. They come with homemade blue cheese and a bag of carrots. Lastly the pizza: now as I said, there was an upcharge for the sweet sauce. This was odd to me. I've never seen an upcharge. But I paid it. What I will say is, whenever I order with sweet sauce from anywhere, I take a bite in my car to make sure they used the right sauce. I honestly could not tell this pizza had sweet suace or not. The best way to describe this, is that it tasted like a regular sauce but maybe a little sweeter versus robust. It was nothing like I was craving (or expecting). For comparison... when I order sweet sauce ... I expect something like papas pizza oven, marks pizza, or pizza oven in Lockport. This place is nowhere near that level of sweetness. I actually went back in to confirm it was sweet sauce and the gentleman confirmed it was and explained the difference between their regular sauce and their sweet sauce. I was bummed it wasn't what I was craving - HOWEVER, the sauce was EXCELLENT! I would be glad to eat their pizza again any-day - I just wouldn't order it when I am craving the sweet sauce I am accustomed to. There is plenty of seating here and a big TV. It was nice and clean and I found the customer service to be great and friendly, even when I came back in to confirm the pizza had the sweet sauce. The menu is large. There are daily specials. DO NOT SLEEP ON PAPA's PIZZA OVEN!…read more 10/10, food and experience, you will not be disappointed, I promise! . 1) SAUCE: They offer two standard red pizza sauces (other specialty options, but we're just talking standard for now) - if you like a sweet sauce PLEASE order here! I have no words for how delicious it is. The saucey, cheesy edges get a little carmelization from the method that they form and bake their pizza and it all comes together in this amazingly balanced , tradition Buffalo pie. 2) DOUGH: perfectly done, imo, Buffalo-style. Not too thick but not thin, cooked fast and hot and gives that slight but great char we love from the likes of OG Imperial and Bocce. But it's Papa's time NOW! The cheesy saucy edges get melty and a little charred over the perfect crusty edges and THAT is what pizza dreams are made of. 3) CHEESE: plentiful, fresh and baked to perfection with a fantastic pull. Their wing flavours are delicious- mild is very mild but incredibly tasty, Medium is a solid mild + a smidge hotter if you are wondering. The wet Cajun wings are out of this world and rival the Cajun wings at Elmo's. SO GOOD! 6) Last but not least the STAFF! I don't know anyone that works there, but they treat you like friends when you walk in the door. On the phone, the guy that most often answers is so nice, pays attention and never misses and sounds HAPPY to make your pie. We asked for extra sweet sauce via phone bc I ordered for my Mom to deliver to her and couldn't find it on Doordash, he was so kind and helpful! And he's like that EVERY TIME. It makes such a difference. The prices are good, the food is always fresh and beyond tasty and we crave this pizza .. which honestly hasn't happened in a long time.
