We got one of the real solid booths to the right of the modern and spotless resta, and our server was real welcoming and made us feel so comfortable here. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming, and we got a bunch of recommendations. I'm not a big drinker but the Smoked Old Fashioned was calling my name and absolutely did not disappoint. It was the right level of smoky and sweet, and hit the spot. They start you off with some fresh biscuits which came out warm and fluffy and perfect, along with some butter, honey, and jam. The Crab Cake was basically all meat and no filler, which was nice, and the meatball was also good. Everything was cooked really well, and the quality was very good, but they weren't super flavorful or memorable. I am a big steak guy, so I had to go for some good meat. NY Strip is usually my go to, but again, despite the very high quality of the mesh here, it unfortunately didn't blow me away. It was dry aged and basically all of the fat was cut away, so it didn't have that rich fatty flavor that I love about the strip. There was some great seasoning on top, but it wasn't enough and the whole thing just wasn't as flavorful as I hoped, especially for the price. Everyone that told about this place said that the chicken was incredible, but again, it was just fine. It was definitely cooked perfectly, but it just wasn't super flavorful even though it was in a sauce. Overall, things just fell a little flat, which was definitely disappointing especially since it was all so close with the high quality of it all. Maybe it was an off night? This was our first visit, but definitely not the last at Cut 432. For starters, we ordered OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER, which had a little more spinach than oyster but still was very tasty. From the start to end of our dining experience with them was wonderful. We made a reservation and arrived a bit early and were seated. The waiter came by immediately, explained some specials and gave us a minute to figure out what we wanted. It seemed as though the waiter was aware of his guests and very attentive. He was able to answer all of our questions and take put our orders in. Unlike some waiters he kept the night flowing, along with the drinks! I don't think there was a time we had to ask ourselves where our waiter was, he had great timing. Overall the food was great and the service put it over the top. If you're ever in the area this place is a must. I suggest reservations as the place isn't very large. There is covered patio seating, a bar inside and of course table seating inside as well. Cut 432 has the best social hour in Delray Beach! Social Hour is 7 days a week starting at 5 PM but during season get there earlier because there is a queue to get in. Social Hour is that good. On this occasion I went for dinner on Christmas Eve. I've dined in the past and service is alway outstanding. Menu rarely changes and this is the place for a steak in Delray. It's really one of the best restaurants for us. Even with some of your flaws the food speaks for itself. The meat is tender & everything is so fresh. Our waiter was Dave and he's absolutely amazing. He recommended a new bottle of wine & he described it as a little lighter than normal & it was exactly that. If you drink wine a lot it's definitely not the big bold one which we like. We sat outside at a small table beneath the canopy and along the sidewalk, in the heart of Delray's Atlantic Ave scene, which is in-and-off-itself memorable - only in south Florida can you sit outside on Jan 28th in the middle of "winter" and enjoy the mild breeze. We had the jumbo lump crabcake and iceberg wedge salad with a blue cheese dressing that was both creamy and chunky with meaty cubes of bacon and cherry tomato halves. For our dinners, we had the 18 oz., 35 day-aged Delmonico steak, medium, and the Prime Skirt Steak with rosemary steak fries, rich and tangy bone marrow au jus (which they "had me at") and caramelized shallots. I typically wouldn't order a skirt steak at a high-end steak restaurant, but glad I did. We also had a large side of potato gratin, very rich. I've been to Peter Luger Steakhouse, NYY, New York Prime, Morton's and Charlie's in Orlando and this place rates with all of them. We started off with a softball size meatball that was delicious with smooth ricotta. Side dishes we had asparagus and potatoes and both were great. Main dish I had Delmonico cooked Pittsburgh and wife and daughter split a Ribeye. Both dishes were great. Had another great bottle of Chianti. The staff was friendly and professional. We ate at Cut several times, well weekly, during our extended stay in Delray. Almost always at the bar with Sam, Dana and Mike. Incredible service! Made us feel like friends! Ate in dining room once with guests and service was polite with same great quality food. We were among those that arrived at 4:45 and it's well worth the wait. You can't beat the prices! We'd each get a cocktail, then split a few items from HH menu, the best Caesar salad, and share a nice steak, not on HH, and 2 amazing glasses of wine. I will start off by saying the noise just slightly louder than I expected. Let me get into detail of my experience. Booked this like a month in advance for my husband birthday. I read almost all of the reviews that were more recent. Start off with bringing us two biscuits with different condiments such as jam, butter and honey. The biscuits were delicious and takes homemade. Then we ordered crab cake which I can say so much crab and delicious and taste extremely fresh. Which was so great. Then we ordered drinks as Pinot Grigio and margarita. Entrees we're Salmon with black berries and some sauce which was different but taste too good. The sea bass was amazing, fresh with the sauce. However, the rice could have been without the sea bass. The sides were truffle Mac and cheese and buttermilk mashed potatoes and sides were good. Big portions as you can share the sides. When making the reservation I stated it was for birthday and the cheesecake was provided. That blew me away as for the desserts for any birthday it's never I cheesecake so that was a plus. Great place for steaks and options of steaks. It's right on Atlantic on the corner of Atlantic and 5th. The steaks are cooked to perfection. They have an extensive wine list. Worst thing of this and other places around here is parking. Just valet. This is my second review and this place gets better and better. Our bartender barb was very attentive very professional and fast. The vibe at the restaurant was amazing and chill. She was very helpful. Good with recommendations. The steak tartar was so fresh. I could not stop eating it I could not put the fork down. I ate it so much more than my husband and then I had a petite filet mignon and my husband had a filet mignon. We ate it all up. We had mashed potatoes that were fresh. The steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned, I especially enjoyed the "sampler" of steak sauces that were brought out for the table. But the real highlight of our experience was the service. Our waiter Alex overheard us mention that we were celebrating a birthday and discreetly asked whose birthday we were celebrating so that he could bring us out a dessert. We live nearby Delray Beach and have eaten at quite a few places downtown. However, yesterday, we decided we were in the mood for steak and chose to eat at Cut 432. It was 4:45 pm (they open at 5), and a Sunday evening, and there was already a line to get in. We were going to leave to go get a drink, and someone in front of us, who has been here quite a bit before, told us if we left, we probably wouldn't get a seat, as it fills up quickly. We decided to wait in line and I am glad we did. We wanted to sit at the bar, but as soon as they opened, everyone made a beeline to the bar. Apparently, they have great happy hour prices and drinks. We ended up at the long line table to the right of the bar, but ended up moving to a table without any issue. Our server was JP (Jean Pierre) and was exceptional. The service all the way around was amazing. Everyone including bussers and food runners, were very attentive. We started with the short rib french onion soup and an order of King crab (chilled). Both were delicious. A nice extra touch was they took the time to cut a slice into each crab leg, to make them easier to open. We also received an order of Biscuits with some butter, honey, and jam, which is included for each table. Very delicious as well. By the time we finished our appetizers, I was almost full, so we opted to share a steak. We ordered the NY Steak cooked medium with the mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly, and they offered to slice it up, which we opted for. The mashed potatoes were red potato, mashed potatoes and were amazing. I am huge mashed potatoes fan and these did not disappoint. The steak was also delicious. Though the menu is pricey, it was well worth it to us. Our total bill before gratuity was about $250 dollars and we tipped well, since our server was great. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back. I almost never give 5 stars. To me, 5 stars means a place can't be beat. In terms of steakhouses and overall experience in this area, cut423 cannot be beat! Great atmosphere, great drinks, great wine, great food, but what really made our experience so good was the service. We were fortunate enough to have Manol as our server and boy are we happy we did. He not only knew the food menu in and out, but he knew the wine menu too! Everything he recommended to us was on point. Next time we return hopefully he's still there, because we aren't going to look at the menu, we'll let him surprise us! A knowledgeable and passionate server really can make all the difference! Oysters Rockefeller and the crab cake to start were great. The crab cake was my favorite! For entrees we had the sesame tuna which was out of this world, and I had the dry aged delmonico which was a huge piece of meat! For a side we split mashed potatoes which were delicious also. Came here for date night after being on my bookmarked list for quite some time. Snagged an outdoor corner table that was nice and distant from our nearest neighbors on a perfect night to be outside. Although I knew this restaurant is known for steaks, we kept it light and shared seafood items: east and west raw oysters, octopus a la plancha, and the Chilean sea bass- all enjoyed with a nice Malbec we found on their extensive wine list. After trying many a grilled octopus tentacle in various restaurants, I have to say this was THE best one I've had so far (close second being Le Sorelle's octopus app a few streets away on The Ave). It was charred to perfection and slicing it was like slicing through butter....I only wish there was more on the plate. The long anticipated sea bass that I've heard so much about also did not disappoint. Such a meaty, flaky fish complemented by a sweet yuzu-miso sauce and coconut rice. I regretfully shared that entree. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, but thought our server was lacking in enthusiasm and/or personality so I knocked a star off. First off before I get to my issues, the New York Steak and my wife's filet were really high quality and well prepared. Went on a Saturday night and it was packed, not shocking in that area. The problem was the tables were so close together and the place was so loud that I could not hear my wife who was directly across the table. The waiter brought the wrong salads, not because he was inattentive, he just couldn't hear us and he was right next to us. The ceviche had great flavor and Sliders were perfectly cooked although the bun choice was a bit firm. Oysters Rockefeller were the only real miss; mostly spinach and not very flavorful. Wine list was impressive and the smoked Manhattan was delicious. I would definitely return and simply change up my food order slightly. Mac n cheese is probably my favorite Mac n cheese I've ever had!! LOVE the big shells they use !! Truffle French fries are incredible and always come out fresh and crunchy. Brussel sprouts could be bigger but the flavor is amazing and cooked with big thick bacon. This is not my favorite spot for filet as we've had it here twice now. The first time the filet was gamy and this second time we got it, it was just kinda underwhelming. Not much flavor and needed salt. Could be that I'm a steakhouse filet snob and used to Chicago steakhouses but this place is just not my Fav for a filet. However the sides keep me coming back!! They don't do bread here which I was disappointed about but I'm now in LOVE with their biscuits! They come out warm, slightly crunchy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside.
