The community is admirably resistant to chain stores (the one survivor can be found dispensing charred, overpriced coffee worldwide), and if PAX had not decided to move here we may instead have had one of the indistinguishable chain drug outlets. Instead we now have a splendid example of a superior, locally-owned business that is both professionally top-notch (I'm a geezer; I know what I'm talking about) and exquisitely attentive to its clientele. The pharmacist/owner, Bella, has a comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy, naturally, but is attuned to her customers. She has retained the staff who have been here for years, and brought in some outstanding people as needed. In short, even if I lived in Pasadena, I would still trek to Sierra Madre in order to get the sort of personal attention you receive here.

While I was grabbing my meds from this establishment today, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour (duh)! It's a pharmacy! Lol They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located behind the building. The parking lot gets full very easily and quickly. If the lot is full, park in the front of the establishment. Beware, the front is street parking only and has a 2 hour time limit. Store & Staff: The store itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. The staff here are very friendly, kind, and welcoming. They are also very fast. They accept both cash and credit cards. When I asked her to repeat what she said, she just went silent and hung up. After that, every time we call, we're being redirected straight to voice mail. There is over the counter medication available for purchase. 2 lines: 1 for checking in prescriptions and another for picking them up. Sometimes the line can get really long but just be patient. They are a very high volume pharmacy catering to a large volume of patients. The pharmacists, technicians and assistants work quickly and efficiently to process and fill medication prescriptions. Be kind to them because they work hard to help you feel better.
