However, the real reason for my review is the store's policy of ordering online compared to in person shopping is absolutely absurd. I came into the store looking for baby formula as it says they have it available, and I can even pick it up in store if I wanted. However, when I get to the section it seems like other baby formula has spilled over and someone might have accidentally mistook the items as available inventory. Since it's behind a case, I have to call over an associate, which is an ordeal unto itself. I eventually get two different employees show up to come assist, but of course they don't have the item and it's falsely stating "available." I'm then advised by both employees that I should go upfront and order with the online shopping Walmart representative so they can grab the item from the back for me in the warehouse. So instead of one of the employees going back for me, they are essentially stating I need to order online and "Hope" the item is back there otherwise Walmart will refund me. After politely asking one of the employees, he did check in the back, but after several minutes stated they didn't have any. Luckily he did mark it OUT OF STOCK, but talk about a weird policy- ORDER ONLINE, but don't expect to pick up items in person. This is just another reason why I try to avoid Walmart stores.

My displeasure with this location started recently when they implemented an AI phone system for the pharmacy. While the voice them use is pleasant and helpful, I quickly learned that the system can only handle one request at a time. Humans can manage multiple questions and just deal with them one by one. Using the AI phone system thus requires multiple calls, and it's difficult to get through to a real person. I found that I needed to leave a voicemail. Once I got a call back and once I didn't. 50% batting average? Good for baseball, not great for customer service efficiency. Today's frustration was when Dear Hubby picked up a prescription for me. I don't have the numbers in front of me to verify, but as I recall this particular Rx wasn't very expensive. Today it was over $60. What?! I looked it up on GoodRx and it's 3 times what it should be. What bothers me is that their records should show what we paid previously and they could offer to check with GoodRx for a better option. That would be good customer service, instead of good ol' corporate greed. This has me so irritated that I'm considering switching all of my pharmacy business to a different provider. We've been loyal customers for a decade and a half, but this may be the last straw. Especially now, we all need all the dollars we can get just to pay other bills, like filling the car with gas, and on and on. The combination of making it difficult to talk with a live person when one has questions / needs of the pharmacist, and the overcharging - that's not making me feel like a valued customer at all.

This one is near my work and I was grabbing food in the same plaza so I chose this one. I came in the early morning so I found parking easily here. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all and only had 1 person working the cashier. That same cashier works at the photo department so I had to get in the checkout line and then tell her I was there for a picture pick up. The process was simple but I can see how it can be slow if they had many customers waiting to check out.

The staff were friendly and professional. The pharmacist was very thorough in explaining the after effects on each vaccine, and she was amazing at giving the shots! The manager here makes me really uncomfortable -- he gets way too close, swings between overly friendly and oddly stern, and the whole vibe feels forced. I never know which version of him I'm going to get, and honestly, I hope he's not working when I walk in. The self-checkout almost never works with coupons, it constantly freezes at procesing payment. Every time it happens, he rings me up at the normal register but says my phone number very loudly, which feels like a big privacy issue. And the staff gives attitude if you choose the regular line instead of the broken machines. This store would be great with a little more awareness, working equipment, and more respectful customer boundaries.
