You order at the counter and find a place to sit. There are long tables along the wall, high chairs facing the window and a few free-standing tables. I love that they have tasty vegetarian options. I always get their vegetable pho (with veggie broth). It comes with tofu, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, onion, and bok choy. Of course the bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and limes come on the side. I ordered a chicken Pho, Spring Rolls, and my daughter ordered seafood noodles, egg rolls, & pad See Lev. The broth is so delicious and I love how they include the chili sauce, hot sauce, and chili flakes all in a couple of containers. CONS: The cashier was hard to understand and was rude - very abrupt, curt, and no patience. This was something I wasn't used to because all other pho places, the server is very polite and patient. Secondly, the seafood noodle was out of squid - you would think they would ask if they could substitute another seafood meat - nada. Her noodle only contained four pieces of artificial crabmeat. Don't forget to order the fried donut on the side because they are made fresh and compliments the noodle soup. The place is take a number and sit type of restaurant, in a plaza with plenty of parking, and the restaurant was busy which was a good sign. Sorry, definitely not 4.5 stars. Our food, chicken pad thai, chicken curry vermicelli, and veggie egg rolls were basically inedible. I think they're trying to do some fusion thing here, but it it just didn't work -- borderline epic fail. The egg rolls were the worst. I'm pretty sure they had been sitting in the freezer for a long, long, looooong time, because what was suppose to pass for shredded cabbage and carrots in the roll basically had the consistency of dental floss; stringy, cardboardy, flavorless. The slices of carrots and cucumber sticks were so dry that white lines were showing, like chafed skin ("carrot blush"). The vermicelli broth actually had ok flavor. But it was drowned by way too many bits of julienned cucumber. There were also massive chunks of undercooked potato and carrots. And while it's supposed to be healthier, the the chunks of dry, stringy chicken breast meat didn't contribute any flavor at all, almost like they just took it out of the packaging, cut it up and tossed it in the broth without so much as adding a fleck of seasoning. I'm not going to drag this out and describe the reddish, oversauced, sour (yes, sour) pad thai. Suffice it to say it was no bueno.... 2 stars for a clean dining area and friendly enough customer service. But really, the quality of the food and/or the ingredients really needs a lot of improvement. read more

With my work relocation, Cyclo Noodles is just a hop and a skip away from my new office. I haven't been back for many years, especially not since the pandemic engulfed us. It's definitely a different experience. The Cambodian noodle now tastes just like Vietnamese pho. The broth could use more flavor. I also ordered the coconut milk with boba, and I was shocked by how sweet it is (and not in a good way). It felt like drinking molten sugar. When is seafood not seafood? At cyclo noodles they serve a seafood noodle soup made with less than what I would call seafood. When I order seafood noodles, or anything named Seafood for that matter, I expect real pieces of fresh seafood. Instead, I get imitation crab and fish balls. What is this stuff made with anyways? I did get a couple of shrimps but I don't even remember getting any squid in my noodles. Except for being overly salty the broth had no taste and the noodles were over cooked. I guess I should be glad that for $9.50 you don't get a whole lot. The Spring Rolls were ok but didn't taste very fresh. The beef on a skewer was decent. Apparently the server did not speak Cambodian. At lease that's what she told me when she didn't understand what I was saying. The odd thing was I don't speak Cambodian either, I was speaking English... at least so I thought. I do have one positive thing to say, the server who served at my table was very helpful. Next time? This is based on the spring rolls & egg rolls (meat), absolutely foul the spring rolls. Covered in oil so they don't dry out because they're pre-rolled gawd knows how long ago. Walking up to the restaurant I was loving the covered and uncovered seating . The trash bins included a recycling bin as well. I actually returned on another day because the food was that delicious. Delicious and fresh three spring rolls each filled with Shrimp, chicken, vermicelli, basil, mint leaves, cilantro and lettuce wrapped in Rice sheet and dipped in savory peanut and sweet sauce. I also orders the combination fried rice , included sausage, beef, crab, scallops, peas and carrots. The rice was well seasoned and tasty loved it. Upon my second trip I had to try their seafood pho and loved every bit of it. Incredibly large crab meat, scallops, sprouts and peppers provided. Deliciously savory broth I drank all of it. Shout to the cooks and the entire staff. I stayed the 2 trip for 3 hours with my laptop to get some work done . They have free Wi-Fi and the staff has an attention to cleaning periodically cleaning the tables ensuring the trash was picked up and tables were wiped down. The bathroom was clean as well . I will definitely return to try other items on their menu. Also must mention their coconut smoothie refreshening and delicious good to the last drop meaning well mixed and very slushy.l read more
