We are blessed in Cypress with some great breakfast places and CBH is one of the most consistent. I am currently obsessed with their Buenos Benedict. Our locally owned & operated (no chain restaurants here!) brunch place. The wait on Sundays can push 30-45 minutes, even for small groups but it's worth the wait - Food is consistently excellent! Never had a bad meal. Coffee is fresh and hot, and you can swap hash browns for the potatoes & you can add queso to anything - (put it on your omelette, your skillet, heck, put it on your pancakes - it's gooooooood queso.) The queso is liquid gold and it takes your brunch to another level. Large groups (8+) on Sundays are not advised until after 12:30/1pm as this place is packed from 10am onward, with people crowding the parking lot, so a big group will take for.ever. to seat and you'll get side eye from everyone else waiting to get in. read more

Like everybody says, it gets packed on the weekends. If you do not get here early like before 10 a.m., be prepared to wait. Food was ok, not bad but..........well the presentations of the food (we were a group of about 15) was good, enticing, inviting and worth picture taking. I had the $9 Chicken Fried Steak which came with about an 8 to10 oz portion of CFS, your choice of eggs however you like, an order of Biscuits or Toast and your choice of Grits, Fruit and two other items of choice that slipped my mind. Parking is terrible on weekends, that's what everybody also says and everybody is right, you might get lucky of course find someone leaving. Service EXCELLENT for the amount of people in here including our party of over 12, cannot complain about that, very courteous. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she needs a kudos call out. The menu prices are very fair which surprised me for this area. I should have tried the recommended Eggs Benedict which I will next time and so should you, remember, I'm not bashing the Chicken Fried Steak but I got spoiled by another place that is located in the Woodlands, the bar is set high on that. Don't get discouraged by the 3 star reviews, it's not negative thing, I would recommend it to try AT LEAST ONCE since the reviews are all over the place. I would return if my group comes here again. This place holds about 75 people. Interior is almost no frills but you're here for breakfast and not to eat the decorations right? You'll find the walls filled with neat little signs and such at least they're not bare. I did not notice any flat screens to view anything here but I could be wrong. read more

Food here is delicious! They have plenty of options to choose from. The chicken and waffles are an absolute must! One of our many favorites here. Waitstaff always greets us at the door. I'm definitely going to go back here as long as I live in Cypress. Location: It's relatively easy to find and it's a short drive away from H290. People who live outside of Cypress will have a bit of a drive, but that's par for the course in the Houston area. If you live in Cypress it's not too far away and it's worth it. It's tucked in a small shopping center across from an HEB if you need a landmark. Service/Hours: The place is open from 7am-3pm and it's been busy every time I've gone. There is no magical time where it's best to show up. That doesn't mean you'll be waiting long though because no matter how full the restaurant was the wait time was never more than 15 minutes. Usually the time the hostess tells you ends up being longer than it will actually take. I've never actually had to wait longer than 10 minutes. The waitresses are all kind, attentive, and damn good at their job. They usually leave you a pot or pitcher of whatever you're drinking there at your table for your convenience. If that runs out they'll get another one for you. Food: The portions for everything are big. They don't think small over there at all. I ordered the Mexican omelette, and while there were some black spots on the avocado slices, it was good. The thing was absolutely chock-full of jalapeños and every bite was spicy. The queso on it was creamy and delicious along with the chorizo and cheese inside the omelette itself. The hashbrowns were good because ya know... fried potatoes. The biscuit was good, but they offer toast and such if that floats your boat better. The food here is delicious. A+ Price: I think you'll come out of this about the same or slightly cheaper compared to bigger chains IHOP or something. Everything I got cost me like 13 bucks with coffee and not including tip. Be sure to tip your servers here generously because these peeps deserve it. read more

Cute little restaurant for breakfast or lunch. We were greeted quickly and sat in a nice booth. Our server came right over to take our drink order. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict with well done hash browns. I ordered the Mediterranean omelette and potatoes with a biscuit. His hash browns were surprisingly well done (even when he asked most places they don't make them well done) He says the Eggs Benedict was one of the best ones he had. My omelette was made with egg whites and had spinach, tomato, red onions, Greek olives, artichokes and feta cheese. Yummy. I believe the biscuit was homemade, another plus. The potato's and hash browns were plentiful, we couldn't finish them. Overall great service, food and price. Definitely would recommend. read more

Not sure why everyone loves this place. It's just "okay" breakfast food to me. Portions are large though. Too large in my opinion. It's small, tables are crammed in. The wait is not horrible, but it is long. There isn't much space to wait so you either stand in the doorway or outside. Went in for a late breakfast and was lucky enough to get seated right away. I line formed shorts afterwards. Ordered the corned beef hash and eggs and a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. Both were great. Homemade corned beef hash was the best. Not like most restaurants that starve it after heating it up from a can. Best I've had. Service was very friendly and efficient. They offer you coffee while you wait or you can just ask for it. Food is always great. The hostesses are always very nice and welcoming. The servers are attentive. Chicken Fried Steak w/ Eggs - the breading and gravy is very good. I personally add a dash of salt because it is a little on the bland side for my taste. But people in my party liked it the way it is. Stuffed French Toast - you have an option between strawberries, blueberries, or banana to be mixed with your cream stuffing. It was delicious.
