These reviews speak for themselves. I called D & D brakes and asked how quickly could I book an appointment. He asked for information about my vehicle and general info on what I needed done. I mentioned that it was most likely worst case scenario with rotors, calibers and pad and he gave me an instant quote. I dropped the car off later that night and picked it up in the afternoon the very next day. Before they began any work, they did an inspection and called to confirm it was worse case as I suspected. I appreciate that they took the time to check to see if rotors could be resurfaced or any of the parts could be salvaged. This wasn't my first quote for the rear brakes so going in to D & D I had a quote that was $280 HIGHER. Not only did D & D save me money they also really put customer service first. I assumed my daughter's car needed new brakes so I called around a couple places to check prices. A couple of shops told me that they don't resurface rotors; they only replace them. This is not normal practice for a repair shop. A popular chain in the Seattle area even requested $65 just to examine the breaks! Luckily, I found D&D Brakes. They were willing to change the brake pad and resurface the rotor if needed. When I came to my appointment, they immediately examined the brakes and told me that I didn't need new brakes for a while, as they still had 50% life left. Wow, these guys are great. Friendly and they really know their brakes. They've got good prices for great work and they're FAST. I could't believe how quick they were, I was originally told 1-2 hours, and then given a longer estimate for R&R all four rotors and new pads. But they put two guys on the job and I was done in an hour! Excellent service and my truck stops like new again with all OEM parts and I have a 30k mile warranty on the job. The shop waiting area isn't big or fancy, but it's got a TV, free Wifi, and I didn't need to stay there long. ;) I have to say that all of the other 5-star reviews are right. What more can I say about this place? Recently, I had some real squeaky belts and made an appointment at another shop to have them changed. I didn't think that D&D did this type of service so I found a place in the area with "Honest" in their name to do the job. I had also noticed that my brakes felt funny when pressed quickly to stop suddenly so I had "Honest" check them out while I was there. They replaced the belts just fine but he told me that my master cylinder needed replacing. Claimed there was brake fluid leaking and the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor..... this was a surprise to me since I noticed no fluid on the pavement and the pedal seemed fine to me.He could fix it for 450.00 and change. I said no and took it to D&D because I know they know whats up. He drove it and came back to tell me that what I'm feeling is the ABS kicking in and the fluid looks fine and basically my brakes are good for a long time. So I ask you, why wouldn't you do business with a straight up dude that will only take your money if you actually have an issue with your car? read more

Wow, where should I begin?! Their customer service priority is outstanding and unbelievable. I had called to ask a question about my brakes. It seemed as if they were warped because my steering wheel had begun to vibrate intensely when I pressed the brakes. He told me not to worry, he could possibly machine warp them back to normal for a small cost. Once I was off work, I took my car in and they instantly put it in the garage to have a look 5 minutes later He told me my brakes were done for and didn't have much life left. He said there would be no point to warping them because I needed new brakes anyways. I was worried about the cost, but the price he gave me was too great to pass up. He told me it would take him an hour to replace the front brakes and he did it in less time than I was quoted I will continue to do business with these guys and them ONLY! These guys are great. Very reasonably priced, let you bring in your own hardware if you just want it installed. I went in to get my rotors milled and new pads put on, they showed me that I had wrecked one of my rotors and it needed to be replaced. They had to order the part and get it delivered but said it would only be an hour. Well it was even less than that, from start, to ordering the part to finish it was about 50 minutes!
