I got my car in the next day and they worked on it for about a week and a half replacing the head gaskets, AC Compressor, and CVT pump reseal. They gave me a couple upgrades on the house that were very appreciated. Two weeks after my car's "open heart surgery" as Jon called it, we drove to Boise and back with no issues :) So grateful to have a knowledgeable Subaru shop nearby!

I stumbled across Accolade. They did such an excellent job fixing up my car and didn't charge me an arm and leg. Over time I got to know the owner. I discovered that he has a real passion for Subarus. He helped a friend of mine get a used car and that really worked out well. After that I decided to let the owner know that I was in the market for a second used car. It took a while but we found one. He replaced the engine in that car and during the shakedown phase there were a few slight problems. The owner went over and above the call of duty and out of his way to fix every problem. It's like having a brand new car and he sold it to me at a very fair price. If you're looking for car repair I can recommend them. If you're looking to buy a refurbished car this is the place you want to go. Enough said!

However, I do admit that Daniel was very friendly and didnt pressure us at all, which was refreshing. We test drove about 6 cars and decided on 2. One we wanted, and a back up. We took the first car to Midas and they found about two grand worth of problems. The second car was so bad that the mechanic stopped half way through the inspection. Midas didnt charge us for the last inspection because it was in such bad condition. We also had to put gas in both cars, and the last car needed a jump because the battery was older than the car. That tells me they out an old used battery in the car just to cut corners. The worst part is, they do not negotiate much below the asking price. Even if it is in horrible condition. Seen an issue with the Ram we wanted and he immediately jumped on it and had his shop fix it immediately before we even decided we were going to buy it. From there I was sold, came back the next day to buy it and everything went quick and smoothly. He granted all our requests and was even great with our kids who were there with us, he showed my son the toy machine in the lounge area and even bought him a toy out of it to keep him happy while mom and dad were discussing things. I felt very happy and comfortable with the entire process. The truck itself was very clean and exactly what we wanted. I was very pleased with him promptness on getting our concerns resolved and then even followed up the next day after the purchase to make sure everything was going well and that we still loved it. If there ever comes a day we buy another truck I will happily use him again as we had some additional questions on how to fix some wiring on the flat bed we bought and he wasn't too sure the answer and said he would as his shop guys and see if he can help us out. Pulled in for the repair a few weeks later (their earliest availability) and was told the warranty expired at 80K, so I no longer qualify. This was NOT previously communicated. I've been going here for YEARS, and now they're screwing me on a technicality that'll cost me ~$2,000. Mind you, this extended warranty is mandated through a class-action lawsuit because VW messed up the pumps in all vehicles from 2014 to 2021. IT'S LITERALLY THEIR FAULT. When I calmly asked for a goodwill, their senior supervisor was cold and inconsiderate. Calling their customer service line was just as useless. They're completely unwilling to help long-time customers, overcharge at ridiculous amounts and use manipulative tactics to squeeze every single last penny out of anyone willing to walk through their door. Please do not trust them. Save the time, stress and money, and go support a local repair shop. As of today, they will not get a single dollar from me ever again, and their lack of goodwill will cost them SO MUCH MORE than the few bucks they saved off screwing me over. Please read the one star reviews here and save yourself a monumental waste of time and money. Other 4 and 5 star reviewers on here must have gotten really lucky, we unfortunately did not. This dealership is no better than the 20 other clunker places I drove by to get to it. Just because the dealership is INSIDE a building, doesn't make it a "Premium Dealership." The amount of money I ended up having to spend over the 2+ months I was waiting and paying for this car to be repaired and I could have bought a new 2026 from an actual Subaru Dealership. How bad was it? The cars engine over pressurized on the way home and destroyed everything in the engine bay. We ended up having to buy ANOTHER car while we waited. My daughter was starting a job with a commute as soon as she moved to Portland, so I couldn't wait for this dealership to spend over a month and a half, hashing back and forth with their shade tree mechanic about how he "didn't do the repairs right." After everything was said and done, I ended up spending about 23k on a car that SHOULD have gone to the parts/scrap yard. Not sitting for sale in a dealership. Top that off with having to buy another car at the tune of 10k, really stung. All that being said, the real Dealership that took this turd and actually made it NOT a massive pile was Accolade Autos in Hillsboro. If you need a GOOD used Subaru, with an actual HONEST mechanic. However, their policy for warranty is one month only at time of purchase, there is no option to extend that warranty at all.
