It took way too long to get our food. They had us waiting 35 mins. The food is fresh and it has good taste. Portions for meat are pretty bad I would go as far as to say stingy. They do give you plenty of rice however. Also, there's no sauce options, they give you their house sauce and that's it. Sriracha and soy are available but I expected more options. read more

I have been here twice. The first time I walked in and ordered. There was no one else in the restaurant and it took 30 minutes for my order to be made. Several other people came in right after me and got their order before or right with mine. I thought it was a fluke. Thee second time I didn't want to wait so I called and order takeout at 6:30 pm. The young lady said it would be 20-25 minutes. I arrived at 6:50 and the guy puts my order in the register and they just started making it. I get my order at 7:05. I get it and appreciate having the food cooked fresh, but plan it out. It takes 35-40 minutes to cook an order of rice and yakisoba. The food is delicious, but the service sucks. Customer service was great and staff was very friendly, it was my first time there and they took their time to make recommendations with popular menu items and what not. Wow! This place did not disappoint, after reading the rave reviews on Yelp I was eager to try. Went in today with my son, we both got the hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp with fried rice plus I got a large iced tea the total was about $40.00, I have to say the food was delicious and the fried rice was spot on! I know good fried rice and this was amazing fried rice! The steak was juicy and tender, shrimps were cooked perfect, chicken was good served with this yummy sauce. I have been a loyal customer since D Grill Boy opened. About 6 weeks ago my daughter and I ordered 2 combos with no mushrooms . However, one combo did in fact have mushrooms so I just picked them out. About 3 weeks ago I went back and ordered again inside the the manager Nat. I ordered the same way again and informed her of what happened before. She apologized and assured me that it would be correct . It had no mushrooms but far less veggies . Today I went with my son. I ordered the shrimp and ordered steak , chicken and shrimp both with veggies on the side . I figured it's just easier to pick the mushrooms out . As I was eating my shrimp and veggies I bit into something that was strange . I was a piece of chicken ( I don't eat meat ). I spit it out. I continued to eat assuming it was just a small piece . Then I saw a larger piece . I phoned in and spoke to Nat to explain what happen . She told me that it was impossible for that to happen and there was no way to prove it. At this point I still had the meal . She continued to say there is no way . I explained that I have been a loyal customer and would not make this up . I'm not sure if she didn't respect the fact that I don't eat meat and there was obvious cross contamination or that she acted as if I were making this up. Either way , that is POOR customer service . Customer service goes a long way. I'd rather support a business that cares about its customers , just like I continued to support them in a pandemic with previous short comings . It literally took 45 minutes to get my food. People that came in 30 minutes after us and a party of 4 got there food before us. A couple came in at the same time as us, right in front of us got there food, ate there and finished before we got our food. We didn't even get our food until I complained. This place has everything to destroy your keto cravings with their bobas and teas (especially the $1 offer if you buy their plate or food special) but I survived and was able to order their Hibachi steak and shrimp plate. I especially liked their fried rice. The sauce could use some improvement, but overall good food. I would give zero stars if I could... worst management and customer service ever. Last Friday me and my work crew ordered by phone about $100 plus order. Every person that got a meal that included chicken had to throw it away as it was pink and raw inside.. I can understand if it was one person complaining but it was every person that ordered chicken.. you're talking about $16 plates that include shrimp, fried rice which is $1.50 more and veggies. When I called Monday to order again and see if I mention "well done" on the chicken there would be a chance I would get cooked chicken.. me wanting to give them another chance tried ordering well done chicken and explained the incident from Friday.. some rude girl kept placing me on hold saying she was not in charge and offering for me to speak to the manager.. I said I did not need to speak with the manager and all I wanted to do was explain what had happened and why I want my chicken well done.. she kept saying "one moment" manager manager.. he is busy.. once again I said I did not ask for a manager can I just order... puts the manager on the phone after 10 mins on hold.. I told him I did not need to talk to him and all I want is to order ahead as I am limited on time and need to get back to work.. he said ok.. I told him if I could have my chicken well done he said no because it gets hard.. I then explained the Friday incident and he said his food is always fully cooked and never raw.. I then told him it was three ppl at work who threw away the chicken.. he said thats not true our chicken is always cooked.. I said can I just order my food as I have lost 15 min of my lunch time and I was not going to argue with him.. I said my food could have already been cooking.. the manager then straight up says.. ok so are you gonna order or keep complaining.. I then said.. ok you just lost a few customers as my coworkers were already unhappy and hung up... The nerve of these ppl... the shrimp and fried rice was good but unfortunately I will not be returning.. even though we ordered take out we left $5 tip and that day he snatched the money and placed it in his tip jar and never even said a "thank you" talk about rude people..
