This place never disappoints! Great food, really good service and reasonable prices. I would recommend calling ahead for your take out orders because the food is prepared fresh and takes a bit of time but worth the wait. If you're wanting something similar to Benihana but without the frills and the overpriced menu this is a great option. We order the #11 which is a combo of chicken, steak and shrimp and the portions are very generous for Hibachi. We also love their Boba and slush drinks. Ordered food for pick up. Upon arrival, observed NO social distancing enforced. Line was crowded in a very small space in front of the cashier forcing customers to bunch up. No Covid 19 guidelines enforced and a DIRTY KITCHEN.. The worker opened my plate up which had no visible vegetables. When I inquired as to why there are no vegetables, A very rude lady, presumably the manager or owner approached me and said they are underneath the food. As I pulled out my debit card I said I will pay extra for vegetables, she started yelling at me saying that's all you get. She began arguing and yelling, I said I'll pay and go on my way since I was hungry,, when she rudely yelled NO customers, no service and your not getting your food. I couldn't believe this I couldn't understand anything else as she was yelling. She is extremely degrading and insulting, totally disregarding the fact there were several customers present. If you want teppan style food without having to sit down or the price then this is then this is the place for you...it's a quaint lil place outside the mall which is a plus because you can avoid the heavier traffic in the mall. The food was right on with hibachi style cooking...the chicken was tender and not dry with good flavor..the shrimp was amazing and cooked perfectly not to mention they didn't skimp by only giving you four...it was worth the price. I added the fried rice which was average I could take it or leave it for the extra $1.50 charge...we also tried the loco moco which is a great Hawaiian dish...the eggs were cooked perfect to order, the patty was the same. You had a choice of spam, a seasoned patty, or Portuguese sausage which I liked...the gravy was a little bland...needed a bit more daily but I would definitely get it again...they have a variety of teas and drinks or which we had thai tea, coffee milk tea, and the elusive oolong tea...all were delicious..overall I would definitely eat her again... read more

Great food, great quality and price! We both had the Hibatchi steak and shrimp, one with fried and one with steamed rice. The steak was good quality, tender and tasty, the shrimp, seemed like small portion, however, the meal was very filling, we asked for an extra sauce each, soooo good! Just like one of those places that cook in front of you but without the price, show and wait time, which works for us. Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Overall was not pleased with my experience. I ordered the habachi steak and chicken combo. It was a little pricey but overall I wasn't worried as I heard the food was good. Well after 30 minutes of waiting I asked about my food. The cashier can back from the kitchen stating it would be another 10 mins. I asked if it was normal for a meal to take 40 minutes to prepare and he stated that he's sorry but the chicken is frozen and taking longer than expected. So after finally getting my meal after 40 minutes I had to rush to eat it as I only had 15 minutes left on my lunch. The food was very mediocre. Very large portion of cheap steamed rice that wasn't anything special and the seasoning on the vegetable was lacking. The chicken was overly chewy on about half the pieces and the steak was average at best. Would not recommend to anyone and I will not be coming back here. read more

Stopped by for lunch on a road trip, very surprised at the great food and drinks in this little cafe. The blueberry smoothie was fresh and just the right amount of sweet. We also really enjoyed the Cajun chicken, popcorn chicken, and loco Moco (which tasted like Hawaii). The dipping sauces we great for everything, but especially for the mushrooms. read more

Great place to stop on our drive between Las Vegas and San Diego. Food was served hot and it was very tasty. My kids had the chicken katsu and the beef yakisoba and loved their meals. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tofu and veggies. It was so well prepared. One recommendation to the restaurant is that they should consider eco-friendly containers. We ate at the restaurant and all of our food was served in styrofoam take out containers (2 per person because rice was served separately). We would have been fine eating on a paper plate instead. Portion sizes were ample. Very friendly service and great overall experience. read more

I come often to this place and wether its to sit down and eat, or a phone order, the service is always on point. They always have the food order correct and when you show up to pick up the order they show you just to make sure everything is correct. Its very clean and the food is really good. I have gave this place three chances first time going there since they changed the name and under new management I went and ordered a Taro slush with light boba and my cup was literally 3/4 boba and the 1/4 slush I was very disappointed. Second time I ordered my drink with no boba and the drink was watery at the bottom like it was not blended right. The third time my boss bought me a watermelon slush with no boba and it literally tasted like I was drink sweet syrup. I took two sips of it and it gave me a headache and I did not even finish the drink. I used to love the drinks from here but now I don't order them. They do have a veggie tofu plate that is very tasty but some time I get one piece of tofu and then other times I get three pieces of tofu so they need to set a exact amount for that dish and not change it. The time I got less tofu I got a huge about of white rice like they tried to make up for just getting less tofu. It being a tofu veggie plate I feel like those should be the main focus and not so much the white rice. read more
