You can order through the kiosk or the cashier. Ordered the black sesame matcha latte. It was nutty from the black sesame. Matching flavor wasn't as strong as I hoped. Prices are average. read more

Glad to see Da Vien continue to grow. I normally will make an occasional stop when I'm Orange County but I was on my way to Santa Monica today and was in search of a coffee shop on the way. I went with where I knew I was going to get good quality coffee. Impressed with their new location, and to no surprise it was busy. Parking lot was full but was still able to snag a spot. Online ordering is the way to go, it was busy inside. Ordered and they have my coffee ready within 5 minutes. You can never go wrong with an Egg Coffee. I also love that they let you make adjustments at no extra cost (such as less ice and more coffee less foam). read more

Tried their Vietnamese coffee with ube, and it was really good--strong, smooth, and full of flavor. The matcha with sesame was just okay for me, but still worth trying if you like unique flavors. The shop itself has a nice vibe with plenty of seating, which makes it a great spot to hang out or get some work done. I'll definitely be coming back for the coffee! read more

Super happy Da Vien finally opened in the 626! No more having to go to OC for these drinks. Ordered a variety of drinks for my fam and I: banana matcha latte, strawberry matcha latte, coconut matcha, black coffee, da vien coffee, and marble drip. All really great flavors and taste just like OC's. A few downsides: I ordered black coffee and marble drip with macchiato foam but they forgot the foam and charged for it so I had to inconveniently but politely push through the crowd of people surrounding the pick up area to ask them to add the foam. But they were nice about it despite being super busy. The wait was also almost an hour. The line to order drinks there seemed to go by fast but waiting for the drinks to be ready took a lot longer. Def recommend placing online orders but still expect a little delay from the estimated pick up time. Overall love Da Vien, just hope they get the wait times and small mistakes sorted out as they adjust for grand opening :) read more

Coffee and matcha are fantastic, the vibe is perfect, but parking isn't easy. Sometimes they have cute merch.

First of all, there's no denying that the drinks here are good. I've enjoyed every drink I've tried. The BOGO promos they run from time to time can be a great value too, if you have a few hours to spare waiting. To be fair, this location is relatively new, but after dealing with busy rushes and multiple promos, you'd expect them to have a much more efficient system in place by now. Understandably, for safety reasons, you can't have a horde of people inside waiting for their orders. However, letting customers in strictly based on order times clearly isn't the way to go either. By the time you're allowed inside, you have to spend even more time searching for your order alphabetically among dozens of others laid out on tables. Whose bright idea was this? Multiple customers may have already touched your now melting or warm drinks. Your order may have been taken by someone else, or not even made yet. Then you have to go to the counter to ask for it to be remade, which causes more delays, and no one else can be let in because of max capacity. What a joke. Management, your employees are working hard and are stressed out when these promos happen, especially on back to back days. They seem like nice people, but they also need to be more vocal and informative with customers just arriving so they're not cutting in front of others who have been patiently waiting. Make announcements about what's going on. Acknowledging the delays and apologizing every few minutes would show customers you care about their time and would help manage the crowds. I waited with the 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. group and was first instructed to line up by the rail, then got cut, and later told to line up against the wall. Other reviews have suggested either hiring more staff or disabling online ordering during these BOGO days. Maybe start calling out orders verbally or through a speaker so people waiting outside can hear. Or hand out drinks to people who ordered with no customizations and check their receipts to confirm. Lots of great solutions suggested on the spot by other customers waiting in line, but who are we to tell you how to run your business or do your jobs? Do something else because anything would be better than whatever the hell that was yesterday. read more

This was by far the worst experience as we usually come to this location. We ordered pickup and it took 2 hours to get it. They don't do refunds, so be ready to wait. And if you don't need to, definitely don't come during a BOGO. They don't tell you why it's taking so long, but that they are slammed and behind. They're having a BOGO promotion today. I placed my order through the app at 11:44am and the pickup time was 11:54am. I went in at 12:15pm and there was a long line outside waiting to pick up their online orders. The worker told me they were still making drinks for orders made at 11am. I left and came back at 12:50pm and was told they were still making drinks for the 11am order slot and that I would need to get in line to wait for my drinks. I went home and came back at 2:30pm and was told there is still a line outside for orders made after 11:30am. That's almost 3 hours from when I placed the order!! Since no one was allowed to go into the store, my drinks could have been ready and just sitting on the counter with the ice melting but I will never know. The $7 saving was not worth waiting in line for that long so I had my order cancelled and left. I heard other people canceling their orders as well. A better solution is needed on promotional days. Add more staff or limit the number of orders per hour. read more

They look like they enjoy what they're doing and so accommodating. I walked in and there were so many people knowing there's going to be a wait. Many were ordering like 5 drinks. It was CRAZY! ( I was stressed out for them) But, all hands were on deck and they had it under control. I had work in the next 15 mins and I asked how long the wait was before ordering. He said it will be a couple of mins and asked why, I shared I have work soon and after he took my order he prioritized making my drink. Thankfully no one was behind me to order. I had the Marble drip. It was a feel good drink. I can't pinpoint what exactly I enjoyed but that uniqueness should be considered a good thing. The cashier wasn't a people pleaser but so long as she wasn't rude, therefore doesn't impact the overall rating. I love da vien but absolutely hate this location. I've gone here at least 20 times since they've opened and it's been only a handful of times where the drinks and customer service were acceptable. I don't know what it is about the workers every time I went just didn't care about the long time it took to make the drinks and it wasn't even hot. Every time. The last time I went, I ordered 4 of the ham egg and cheese sandwiches , I guess they tried to speed up the process and put them all in the oven at once. Unfortunately the middles of all the sandwiches were still ice cold. Really nasty. When we went to let them know and get new ones reheated the guy tried to blame it on us saying we ordered it 20 mins ago(which we didn't- we ordered one and a few drinks 20 mins ago. I ordered 3 more sandwiches and it took them 10 mins to make and we ate them immediately. It was very disappointing. Also the drinks always are on the weak side. And I've been there where other people have complained as well so I know it's not just us. We love the new location in Alhambra though. And we love the location in garden grove- we literally drive 1 hour to get there instead of coming to this location before Alhambra opened. read more

Went in yesterday morning prior to my hair appt and was excited to know they finally opened, was very disappointed, I've only been to the one in garden grove and Westminster so I was expecting to also have the same friendly experience from ordering, it's been a while so I had to ask the menu and the lady in the register couldn't be bothered hahaha!!! And kept saying anything else anything else and mind you I wanted to order a lot more but was in such a rush with no one behind me! The most interesting part was she was laughing with her coworkers in a happy attitude but in front of a customer completely the opposite, pretty bummed not a good experience coming here! We have been wanting to try this place since we see it in several IG posts. We stopped by on a Friday morning around 9am. Parking lot is small, it is also pretty small inside. We ordered two matcha's with banana pudding and a banana latte. The matcha was good, nothing special. The banana pudding was good and made the matcha taste better once it was all mixed . I am so glad that Da Vien opened in Rosemead! Da Vien is one of my favorite Vietnamese coffee spots. I usually opt for the Egg Coffee, which is creamy, smooth, and strong! There are a few tables at this location, so it's nice to be able to sit while you wait for your coffee/tea. I am hoping to try their matcha drinks soon. The wait does get long, especially on the weekends, so I do suggest ordering online for pick up! read more

Ordered online on the way there and my drinks were ready by the time I got there (less than 10 minutes)! Staff was friendly with the pickup. The matcha crème coffee is a must try! I ordered it half sweet and with light ice as recommended. The coffee is strong and the matcha crème adds a nice rich velvety finish to it with a matcha aftertaste. We also tried the da viene iced coffee which also was ordered half sweet and ice. It's good as well but I think matcha was better. The crème on top of this has a slight custard like tone to it. Never disappoints! One time I asked my husband for a coffee and he forgot to ask for oatmilk for mine. I called the store and they said come back no problem, said keep the coffee and made me another with oatmilk. That's amazing customer service and I truly appreciated it. My friend and I ventured to Da Vien. I am so glad they opened a Da Vien here in the 626. I had gone to the Gardena location several times and have always liked their drinks. I usually go for their coffees but recently, I have gone on a matcha phase. I tried their coconut matcha latte and it's not too sweet. It's the perfect combination of light and refreshing. Service was great and fast. The ambiance is nice as well. It felt very open. However, it is a bit tough to talk inside as it's very echoey inside, especially when there are a lot of people inside. read more

Came here after the gym on a Monday at 10am and ordered on the Kiosk (only 1 machine) but you can order through the cashier too. In and out with 2 drinks (Ube Latte Coffee & Egg Coffee) in my hand within 5 mins. I order both with 50% sweetness, less ice. Large size is an extra $1 so why not. I rarely drink Vietnamese coffee. Ube Latte is perfect if you want a more subtle Vietnam coffee flavor compared to the egg coffee where the Vietnam coffee is a lot stronger. Interior looks nicely designed. read more
