This has become my go-to for sushi whenever I'm staying at my parents'. The first thing that got me into this place is the fact that it's the same name as my childhood/family nickname! I later found out that this restaurant is actually named after the owner's daughters (pretty cool!). I haven't been disappointed with this place, I've come here a few times with family and friends, and once solo where I sat at the bar. I feel this is the closest to San Diego vibe I can get for my sushi here in Murrieta. The staff are fantastic and the menu is awesome. I always have a great experience dining here. Our order was also correct- very important. We ordered peach sake - tasty! Chicken karage for an appy- also good. The flavor was nice on its own, but came with a wasabi mayo. It wasn't a spicy sauce by any means and I actually added wasabi to it. For our mains, the husband ordered crispy rice spicy tuna roll and I got the mucho roll (I think it was called). Mine was bigger and had a lot going on but I loved it. Perfect size to fill me up without going overboard. My husbands roll was amazing! We'd never had anything like it with the rice on the bottom and simply spicy tuna on top. It was clean and sooo yummy. I liked my roll, but going back I'd get his. Overall, our whole order cost $70, better than other sushi joints in the area. As for decor and ambience, the place is okay. Definitely themed! The men's restroom was superhero and the women's was Hello Kitty. The place was clean, the service and food was good so that's all I care about. I would definitely like to come back! read more

Daughter got haircut in area so stopped here for late lunch. 130pm, one group at table, 3 sushi chefs and one waitress. 75% of tables not cleared from previous customers. I feel bad for staff. This place could have potential to be much better with more staff. Food came out almost room temp and service was very slow as to be expected. Had bento with chefs choice sushi and fish quality was mediocre at best. Would I come back even with more staff? Sorry to say probably not. More options available to choose from in area. read more

My husband and I came here for a last minute dinner and we were glad we did. The seating was pretty packed for a Thursday night so it must be popular. We ordered a ocean lobster roll, tuna salmon lover roll, fried cream cheese wontons. I would say that all of the rolls were good. Fried cream cheese wontons were good although I felt for the price they were small. We ate them within 5 mins haha. For everything pictured we spent about $89 before tip. You can customize your sushi rolls which I liked. I think it is pretty up there for sushi compared to some of the other places that I have been to. It was good but I'm not sure if I'd venture out to come back here unless it was for convenience. The service was a little slow but it seemed they were understaffed. Dada Sushi is an absolute gem in Murrieta! The food is unbelievably fresh and bursting with flavor!! Every bite was a delight. The quality of the fish, especially their Bluefin Tuna, is top-notch and truly sets them apart. This place is a must-try for sushi lovers! Last Sunday March 22, we search a restaurant to do our weekly family time. We found in yelp Dada Sushi has a very good yelp rating. We went there at around 1:30pm (few customers), and ordered two Chicken katsu and two pork Katsu and one chicken appetizer. The waitress was pleasant and the ambiance outside was good, we like it. When it comes to the food which we paid $98 and some cents. The portion we can't believe how the meats are paper thin coated with a very thick panko breading, soaked in oil, one sliced with a size of a medium size palm each person, both chicken and pork Katsu. The salad is a small handful of leaves with few pieces of old tomatoes. Miso soup is watery with tiny pieces of tofu and that's it. I don't really like giving a negative review, but I am so disappointed and felt that we've been robed of our time, resource, and trust. We didn't want to ruin our family time together, so we focused on enjoying ourselves. After the meal, I went to the cashier to pay and spoke to the person at the cashier and told her about our experienced. She didn't apologize or offer any comforting words. I will not recommend Dada sushi to anyone and we will not go back. This place is way overprice; portion, taste and presentation is one to nothing compare to other similar restaurants we've been. I am not sure how they get high marks at yelp. I will give the 0 rating if there is a choice here. read more

I would come mostly every lunch i had because my work was right down the street, I was informed today by someone who i had never spoken to that I was not allowed to order ahead and dine in.... it was very disappointing and the girl on the phone was adamant about not ordering ahead. Going to start off with BEST SERVICE EVER! They were all very friendly and attentive. Can't speak on their sushi because I ended up getting their Tokyo Shoyu ramen which was good, but our gyoza was burnt and tasted as such. In the beginning there was a bad sewage smell and at the end a strong gas smell. The parking lot is small and this place is hidden around the corner, but definitely would be back again to try new things as it seems to be a very popular and well loved establishment. They have a slideshow of their owner carving up the tuna that they get shipped in, so I had high hopes. We started with the belly trio that had chutoro, otoro, yellowtail belly, with sturgeon caviar and truffle ponzu, I couldn't really taste the caviar, but for $29, this was a great deal, especially since the fish was ultra buttery. Next up I started ordering some hand rolls, the first one was a negi toro, and quite honestly has been the best negs toro I've ever had. It was buttery, packed, and had a slight citrusy zest to it. I also had a yellowtail hand roll which was good, additionally, the service here was kinda spotty, they forgot quite a few things such as sauces, and hand rolls that were ordered but never came. I did order more negi toro hand rolls because they were phenomenal and a good deal for the quality. The spicy tuna hand roll was decent, but I wouldn't get it again. read more

I see all the great reviews and think about trying them again since they're so close, but I'd rather make the drive or pay for the couple miles extra on DD for the other place that still tastes fresh when I get it (so I know it wasn't a delivery issue). I came inside with my service animal (ESA) and I was asked for him to wear a vest or a special tag showing that he's a service dog. Which is not a legal requirement to having a service animal. The service was great. Our server was always busy, their was always someone asking if we were ok or if we needed anything. The place looked better from what I remember. We just had one less seat then we requested so our seating for Mother's Day was real tight. We had a good experience when it was our first time here, that was a to-go order. This time we went in person and this time we had a very bad experience! Yesterday we went to celebrate for my son. We were welcomed by a very strong toilet scent, you can smell the strong toilet fumes when eating We had the chefs special, nigiri ($26 or $28 I forgot) When we ordered, it came fast!! But when my son put the tuna in his mouth, he stopped chewing and told me it stinks, and the that the texture is weird I told him to spit it all out!! We also checked our other Tuna nigiri, which had a strong odor, which ended up also being spoiled sashimi! (yellowtail felt watery, not worth the price with this quality) It's very dangerous to eat spoiled sashimi, especially because the temperatures are rising, so food poisoning is at risk. I hope that the owner would check before serving to customers! After they served the spoiled sashimi we were scared to eat the other nigiri, before we ate the other nigiri we had to smell it before eating. Now my son says he's traumatized. It's so sad because we took him here for a celebration, it gave him bad memories. This is the first time we experienced eating rotten sushi. read more

Walked in 2 weeks ago on a Friday night. It was busy but tables were still open. We waited around but no one helped us. About 6-7 mins after waitresses passed us without acknowledging us one asked if we were there for pick up which i replied no to. Then she said pick a seat which we did. After sitting we waited at the table for over 15 mins with no drink order or acknowledgement from a server. 2 tables next to us that came in after us were given there drinks before anyone acknowledged us. My wife and I got up and left and literally drove a mile to Hana Sushi and was immediately sat. They were busy as well but just the fact they acknowledged us made it a much better experience. It was just frustrating. We will not be returning. The food is decent but service is not what I should be. Therefore we will take our business elsewhere. read more
