This place has been around for decades, but this was the first time I've been there. The owners were so helpful by explaining the trays and prices. It's a whole in the wall place and I have heard so many people talking about placing party trays here. The food was delicious and they were able to customize some of the food trays for me. I will definitely be placing my party trays orders here in the future!!

Good food alert! We wanted traditional Vietnamese food for our baby shower, and Dai Loi did a phenomenal job. I ordered through the phone about 2 weeks in advance since I didn't want them booked out on the Saturday of our event. I paid a deposit electronically, and then paid the rest upon arrival/pick-up. Their prices were so reasonable for the quantity you get. They have small and large tray options. Here's what we ordered: banh beo, goi cuon com thit (spring rolls with shrimp and pork), uot thit (rice rolls), cha gio (egg rolls), mi xao chay (vegetarian stir fry noodles), and com chien thap cam (combination fried rice). Everything was so delicious! We had a lot of leftovers, and our guests were eager to take almost all the food home. I love that they also have vegetarian options. The service was awesome. They had all the food ready and packed on time. The owners also helped us load everything in the car. We plan to order from them at our next gathering!

Ordered catering from here for a baby shower. We came into the shop about a month before to check out the menu and place the order. Make sure to keep the receipt for the day of pickup. The food was brought out and well presented as well as kept warm. Would definitely order from here again!

I've been meaning to try this place for months but I always came too late and all the platters were always sold out. I was lucky this time and was able to snatch a $5 platter of banh beo. It was yummy. Tasted just like all the banh beo platters I had as a kid. They had banh cuon as well!

Delicious! The veggies, salad and banh mi is not from them).

Highly recommend for catering trays! I ordered in the morning for same day lunch party. If you do this, know that you can get what's photographed (minus the sandwiches, veggies and salad which are from elsewhere), but cannot order fried rice or noodles (need advanced ordering). The lady taking the order was very nice and spoke decent English. They took Apple Pay too. Banh cuon was the crowd fav! Everything was yummy, but the only thing I wouldn't get again is prob the spring rolls- ski got tough after sitting outside for a bit (not their fault.. prob was better fresh). The eggrolls were still very fresh and my grandma who is known for her eggrolls approved and commented very good ;) Updated menu prices attached.

This review is for the nem nuong (red ball). They changed the recipe from what I remember and this one tastes sooo much worse. Like it tastes like old meat and was uneven in how it was cooked. I wished we could've had a sample before they subjected us to this torture. I ended up throwing it out because family was scared of getting food poisoning from it. Please watch out of ordering this. It is not the same as it was previously.

Their banh cuons still slap, but wow... inflation really came for this place. Prices have almost doubled since the first time we came through and portions seem to be getting smaller with each order

Limited options if you don't preorder. This plate was $7. Banh Beo (bottom right, white mounds with orange powder) - this is my first time trying this after hearing about it for so long. This tastes exactly like a dried shrimp rice roll except the dried shrimp has been converted into a concentrated powder. Mung bean blob (middle) - this was interesting but the taste is a bit off like it's going bad. Maybe this plate has been sitting out too long. Banh It Tran (top left) - this was my favorite. So chewy and has savory filling with shredded meat. Tran (top right) - this was not good at all from the skin to the bland taro and ground pork filling.

I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my estimated pickup time and the egg rolls (netted and regular) were ready but the Banh Khot were still being cooked. The estimated pickup time on the website was pretty accurate. Everything made the 35 minute journey and stayed crispy!! The regular egg rolls were tasty but nothing special. The netted egg rolls however, I'd come back for. They were crispy all throughout and the filling was well seasoned. The Banh Khot were very crispy with a nice and pleasant chew from the coconut batter. My husband loved the flavor and texture. I wasn't a huge fan of the coconut flavor being so prominent but I know that's a staple of Banh Khot batter. Next time I'd skip the regular egg rolls but I'm happy I tried them!

The hubby and I placed our order & we picked up on a Friday night to bring back home. It was not too busy & they had our food ready pretty immediately. I ordered way too much food, but I was excited to try everything. I would have loved to have had everything fresh & hot, but we live a little ways away, so by the time we got the food home, some things needed a quick reheat. I ordered the pork & shrimp eggrolls, banh khot, pork & shrimp net eggrolls, chicken wings w/ garlic noodles, & the pork spring rolls. Needless to say, we had leftovers - it was a lot of food for just 2 people! I really enjoyed the banh khot & net eggrolls - they were flavorful & I enjoyed the texture of the net eggrolls. I had to save the print rolls for the next day, but I enjoyed them (though, I know they were probably perfect the same day.) I just couldn't make room for all that food. I think the one surprising disappoint for me were the garlic noodles. I expected more of a kick and generally more flavor from the noodles, but they ended up being relatively mild. Don't get me wrong, we still ate it all, but I just expected more umph. All in all, I enjoyed the food & would love to order from here again!

The mam tom had a strong flavor (as expected), but it was balanced well and tasted authentic. Mixing it with the noodles, herbs, and peanuts made for a great combination of textures and flavors. Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.

If you can't find parking in that plaza, there's more parking across the road where the Target is. After spending about ten minutes on the written wait-list, our names were called. It's definitely a little easier communicating with much of the staff if you speak Vietnamese, and I find that waiting right outside the restaurant is best because they default to calling your name from the door once it's your turn. The interior is crammed with tables; the atmosphere feels busy and warm. There is a single room women's bathroom and men's bathroom in the back as well. The decor leans toward being classic more than trendy, which I liked. The menu is pretty big, offering a variety of items ranging from mainstream Vietnamese options to ones I don't encounter as often. I recommend eating family-style for many of these dishes, including the Bún Chả Cá Lã Vọng, which I enjoyed with my partner. The prices are pretty average, and their portions are generous. That said, they are cash or Zelle only. There is an ATM that you can use if you forget to bring cash, but this is still something to keep in mind. Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back. I wish I had the stomach capacity to try more of their dishes at once, and I 100% recommend that anyone give this place a shot.
