The food here is still good. However, there needs to be a better process for people who order their food to pick up. What is the point of ordering my food which will "be ready in ten minutes" if I have to stand in line for 15 minutes to pick it up. I could have ordered my food from the back of the line. The food is cold by the time you pick it up and you haven't saved much time. I don't enjoy the atmosphere at Daily because the tight space makes me feel anxious so I'd like to get in and out as fast as possible. The staff makes it clear there is no separate line for pick ups. Although I do enjoy their classic american breakfast wrap I probably won't be back. read more

I can't figure out why this place remains so popular. When I worked in Danvers years ago, I stopped in somewhat regularly and the food was generally pretty good. Now, it seems sandwiches are rushed to be made and the quality is way downhill. Assuming you can get into the DHC parking lot without getting into an accident (smallest, most poorly laid out lot ever!), you're nearly always destined for a super long line (which applies even to orders called ahead) there always seem to be an adequate number of people working but they can't seem to get out of their own way. Recently I purchased 3 things: a Bob's prepackaged oat bar, a can of seltzer and a double espresso. Price? More than $11 I don't know about you but that seems a bit much for what I purchased. There was also quite a bit of confusion over my drink order. All I wanted was 2 shots of espresso, over ice, with soy milk. The first girl behind the counter thought I wanted an Americano, which I had to explain was incorrect because Americanos have water. She didn't seem to fully understand the difference. I was eventually handed my two shots over ice with soy milk and was charged almost $6! I questioned the price because at Starbucks I get charged for 2 single shots and an extra 60 cents for the soy milk. The girls rudely insisted what I received was a double latte and charged me for a double latte. By then, the line behind me was about to reach the door so I paid and left. The espresso, btw, was not very tasty. I'm not sure what kind of coffee bean they use there but it's lousy. Bottom line, I'll never go back. read more

Cute breakfast and lunch place. Coffee is delicious and sandwiches never disappoint. The different flavors of lattes are all so good and I'm anxious to go back and try more breakfast options. However I wish they had more paninis for lunch and maybe even a Reuben sandwich! Other than that, I recommend this place!! read more

I have been going to the DHC since it opened. I normally rely on two of their breakfast staples...the veggie sunrise wrap and the great American Breakfast Wrap. Consistently very good at a very reasonable price. Certain times of the day there are long slow lines to order food. At times there appears to be slight confusion behind the counter. I keep going back due to the friendly staff, ample parking and good food. read more

Before I go into specifics, it should be known that I've had an ongoing battle with this place since I moved nearby, which, if anything else, means I should probably cook breakfast for myself more often. If they execute your order to perfection, you may be really happy and find the food fresh, quality, and delicious. However, due to the choice to employ no one over the age of 21 (maybe an occasional exception), the chance of them getting your order correct and executing it is extremely unlikely. Of the countless times I've been there they've only done my order properly a few times. I get the same thing almost every time and it's not complicated. Breakfast sandwich on a well toasted bagel with well done homefries. The staff, however, seems to screw this up almost every time. Why do I keep going back? Because I love homefries and on the rare occasion they're not a soggy undercooked pile of potato, they're amazing. But it's just ridiculous that they can't toast a bagel to well done and crisp some homefries. While my conversations with the owner have been generally productive, there is a serious problem with the staff's ability to answer the phone. I do a lot of my orders to go and there has been countless instances where the phone was not hung up, and all you get is a busy signal, for 30+ minutes. I've told the owner this many times and it continued. This is something that can easily be fixed with proper instruction. At some point you have to question the owner's hiring choices and the ability to get the employees to perform simple and standard tasks. I wish I could say these easily fixable issues were resolved but that is just not the case. I hadn't been there in a while and decided to try it again and the same issues came up. I don't think I'll go back there again. read more

Quick, friendly, fresh, and tasty. Not since the early days of Kushco have I found a good sandwich joint in the area. Recently heard about this place from a food blog (I've become that guy) and decided to give it a go. First tip, there is a big menu board, but smaller ones are at the counter. However, the line queue can make it hard to realize that, so you stare in amazment at the board until it is your turn, still not knowing what you want, then are presented with a menu. There has to be an easier way. It is a small space with all the tables. But that's where the negatives end. Everything there from the smoothies, wraps, baked goods, and breakfast items are excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the food comes out super fast. It is never a long wait. I've read some of the negative reviews and some are just stupid and petty. Concentrate on work? This is a restaurant, not Starbucks and certainly not a library. This place being busy and bustling is a good thing, it means they're making money and quickly turning out quality food. This place has gone seriously downhill IMO. At first it was the service, but now that has trickled into the food as well. The counter is manned by mostly high-school aged girls who are hit-or-miss -- some are great and friendly, others are disinterested in being at work like you are putting them out by ordering (oh, my apologies. I was under the impression you were getting paid to be here...). The prices are outrageous -- $15 for lunch if you're lucky. The last three times I've come here, my order has been wrong or bad. The soup was cold. I asked for a cup, not a bowl. Asked for no onions on my veggie burger. It's not really that complicated... My friends eat here often, and have found a handful of times when the restaurant is closed up at 6:45 even though they are "open until 7pm". I'll come here if invited, but I'm not going to subject myself to it voluntarily. read more

Boo! I really wanted to like this place! I've driven by it so many times and wanted to try it. Finally did today. Decided on a wrap. It came as the wrong wrap type and without the cheese. Ok...but it's a chicken wrap that's supposed to have some veggies on it. It was definitely skimpy! 2-3 prices of tiny chicken and it was basically a salad wrap. It wasn't really clear where the ordering area was and where people are just waiting. I "waited" in 3 "lines" until I apparently got it right. They definitely seem to cater to regulars, without really taking 2 seconds to explain that they will bring your food. So, I stood there with a small child waiting and had wanted to sit outside. While I was waiting, we lost all 3 open tables to one person each who got brought their sandwich outside. Fail! So, whatever, we ate inside. I didn't see any hi chairs and certainly nobody offered me one. Some things sanitation wise that I saw right off the bat made me wonder what goes on in this place. A food prep girl had one of those bull rings through her nose and the toilet paper roller was empty with just a basket of rolls to use and grab at in the bathroom, like they refuse to buy refills or someone lost the key. Cute little cafe with lots of vegetarian options. I love how there are so many fun coffee flavors to choose from, and they're all delicious! The spinach & cheese croissants and pistachio muffins are so good! I got a bagel last time I was here and it was kind of stale, and the staff they had on that day was very rude. I asked for butter twice and had to go up a third time to ask again, the girl seemed very annoyed and rolled her eyes at me as she handed me the butter. The other times I've been here, the staff has been extremely friendly, and greeted me with a smile. I'll definitely be back, I just know when not to go now! read more

The food quantity and quality here has deteriorated. My favorite item used to be a breakfast wrap with home fries in it. Now it's thin, all carbs and still the same price. I'd rather you raise prices and keep the integrity of the product. Where's the protein? They have good lattes and pastries. I also like that they post today's soups on Facebook. Open a call-ahead line! Please? I've called ahead before and have gone up to the cooking counter to pick up my food. I've done that about 6 times and essentially I "cut the line" to pay. Yesterday I called in and went to the cooking counter and they told me to go stand in line....that was out the door. I said, "Wait. Are you serious?" She told me again to stand in line. So I waited in line 15 minutes, looking at my to go bag just sitting at the counter. I got to the counter and asked when they chose not to allow pick up at the cooking counter. She said, "Well, you have to pay at the register. I've worked here for 2 years and we've never done that." She wasn't rude at all, pretty polite actually. I asked, "What is the point of calling for take out when you have to wait in line?" She shrugged her shoulders and told me to have a better day. read more

This is a really cute place with a lot of healthy options. I went for lunch and ordered the veggie burger. It was fantastic, but could have been half the size as I couldn't finish it. The veggie burger was their own creation and had a sun-dried tomato pesto on it. I've had many veggie burgers over the years, and this was the most unusual (in a good way!). They also had a fantastic selection of iced teas which I would have loved to have sampled. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area, otherwise this would be a regular spot! read more

Four stars for the food, 2 for the service. The girl that I dealt with was super nice. But they don't have a take-out menu or a great website, and I had e-mailed them, and no one ever returned the email, which I didn't like. Parking lot is tiny. I had the farmers market sandwich, which was good, but I really loved the chicken noodle soup. The M&M cookie was good too, though a little on the big side. I wish they had a soup and 1/2 sandwich option (I didn't notice it if they do...). Love that you can choose between a bag or carrots or an apple with the sandwich. Super friendly service, great sandwich choices, coffee is great (not like the typical crappy coffee served in a local diner), healthy menu options, etc...just a one-of-a-kind eatery. I don't live in the North Shore anymore, but still drive 30 minutes to grab something to eat there. Also, the frozen yogurt kicks! Although they don't have waitstaff for the tables, they will bring your order to your table after you order at the counter. Outdoor seating is available for the summer. Indoor seating is cozy in the winter, with a in-the-wall gas fire place to keep you warm on a cold New England day. read more

It looks great from the outside and it's nice inside. We had a Bad experience. It's 58 degrees and the AC is blasting. They Got our order wrong and it took 25 minutes. My bf and I had breakfast there and driving up to the cafe, I could tell it was going to be homey inside! There is a wood-burning stove in the corner, quaint seats, and just a really comfortable atmosphere. It definitely has a country, Americana feeling to it. The boy got a Tex-Mex breakfast wrap which was good and looked quite filling. He also got the Chicken Pot Pie soup which he said was not as flavorful. My tomato-basil-mozzarella quiche was huge and when heated up, was the perfect breakfast on such a cold November morning! The food takes a little longer to cook than most places, but you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. All of the girls who were at the counter were really smiley and friendly which is always a plus! I can't wait to go back and try some of their pastries, bagels, or coffee/hot chocolate. I know my bf goes here for lunch too as they serve up fresh burgers and sandwiches. This place is definitely a welcome addition to this area and we'll stop by again soon! read more

Okay the food was fine but was a it annoyed at the portions you get. I ordered the Harvest Breakfast item on an English muffin and a friend ordered the Ham & Cheese plate for JUST $0.80 MORE. Well I had almost a 1/3 food portion than my friend for $0.80 difference. I felt like I got ripped. Coffee was served cold too. Also there wasn't a functional bathroom available. But have to say the atmosphere is a nice one and the food was good. Just a tip, if you want more bang for you buck, do not get the Harvest Breakfast sandwich. :-) read more

Cute spot. It was pretty busy when we went so we had to sit at the bar by the windows but we had a full view of the flat screen playing Tom and Jerry. The burger I had was truly delicious, but the apple I got on the side wasn't very flavorful. I was super excited for the fresh brewed iced though. The hubby got the avocado and chicken wrap that he helpfully described as "pretty good." They had some tasty looking yogurt and fruit in the fridge and some decent looking pastries in the case. They also sell ice cream at some windows outside, but it was too cold and rainy for us to try it out. Next time. They also cater and apparently have dinner and brunch specials. read more

I love a good bagel sandwich and Daily Harvest Cafe didn't disappoint. We stopped in here (thanks to the Yelp app) on our way home after a wedding on the North Shore. It was a Monday morning and the place was pretty busy but a man relinquished his table for our party of 4 (it's seat yourself.) We would have sat outside at the open table but it was particularly chilly. So we ordered our food at the counter -- 3 bagel sandwiches and one meatloaf sandwich (love that the lunch options are available all day long), a large coffee, large green tea and a smoothie. Not sure how the prices were as our friends treated us -- but the sandwich seemed reasonable. I had my bagel sandwich on a multi-grain bagel with applewood smoked bacon. It was great and I loved that they had Frank's at the table so I could douse mine with hot sauce. The coffee was delicious (snickerdoodle) even though I requested skim milk and my coffee was much to light and creamy to be made with skim. Not complaining, sometimes you gotta treat yourself -- if by treat I mean cream rather than skim in my coffee. A great little breakfast joint right around the corner from the mall and the Marriott Hotel. Daily Harvest seemed like a much better option for breakfast than some of the fast-food joints in this part of Danvers. Really, quite impressed by this place. Service at the counter was organized and prompt. The menu included a number of unique breakfast wrap creations, as well as some more traditional breakfast fare. I tried the Tex-Mex wrap (sausage, rice, salsa, egg). Even without the cheese and sour cream, it was incredibly tasty and filling too. I'm convinced that any breakfast dish that includes both jasmine rice and eggs is a sure winner. They have a great side-patio area with a number of four-person tables and a charming waterfall. On a bright summer day like today, it was very pleasant to be outside. Daily Harvest was good to us - hopefully we'll have an opportunity in the future to sample the lunch items on our next visit to the North Shore. read more

I love this place. It's not very close to home but Its worth the drive. I have cravings for the chicken fajita wrap on a regular basis, and the smoothies, iced chai and baked goods are delicious. It's not rare for there to be a line out the door and at busy times it can be hard to find a seat but it's an adorable place. In the summer there is outdoor seating in a small courtyard out the side door which is a perfect spot for a relaxing little lunch. I am always taking people here for lunch and everyone I've introduced it to has loved it . I'm hungry just thinking about I and wish I could go right now ! read more

I envied it after I received my very dry Greek salad with rubbery chicken and very little feta. Greens were not fresh. No pita bread to accompany it. My sister-in-law and I are trying to find new local places to have coffee and The Daily Harvest Cafe was brought up in a conversation by my sister. So we decided to try it out. It is a very cute place to come and enjoy a latte and food.I had a iced salted Carmel Latte and a breakfast wrap. The workers are very friendly and the food and latte were great. Takeout is disappointing on a regular basis. I like the food, so I continue to give them another shot at getting their act together. At this point though, it's getting pretty old. First of all, it takes far too long for a take out order to be ready. But then to get home and the order is wrong? I don't want cheese on my sandwich, when I ask for no cheese. When I PAY EXTRA for avocado, I should be given avocado. Light potatoes does not mean extra potatoes. Employees being annoyed when I've gone back to have my order fixed, is not only infuriating, but it's humiliating. Dear Owner, this is unacceptable. Maybe it's the high turnover of your employees. Happy employees, will in turn make for happy customers. I am not a happy customer. read more

This place had a coupon on LivingSocial so I decided to give it a try. Def. glad that I did! For a place that serves healthy-ish food, it's also very delicious and inexpensive. Usually a place that caters to the more health conscious ends up being dull and over-priced, but that is not the case here. The interior is welcoming and well-kept. OMG omg!! Totally coming here again. I freaking loved it. I'm not often in Danvers even though I work in Middleton. Somehow I just never got past work and usually pick places closer to home instead. But I was meeting friends for brunch and we come from all over (swapscott, Salem, north reading & Woburn) and it was a great meeting point. Two of us had lattes (made very well!!) and the cafe breakfast with eggs. My girlfriend has scramble, bacon & white toast and I had sunny side up, bacon & wheat. Delicious. The bread is HUGE & soaked in butter (I'd ask for it on the side next time). The home fries were amazing and NOT greasy (woo hoo!!). And both our eggs were cooked perfectly. And crispy bacon, thank you. My other girlfriend has a cafe sandwich. She has a gluten allergy and they had gluten free options for her sandwich which was a nice option. She had a plain cup of coffee and deemed it quite yummy. The pickiest among us got a muffin and a cup of coffee that she LOVED. It was perfect all around. Options for a quick grab & go latte if you're in the area and enough space and staff for a sit down breakfast if that's what you want. Great organic, gluten free options. Coffee is Hit or Miss. Location is so loud you can't enjoy yourself, talk with anyone else or even dare to concentrate on work. The door has a bell on it and its constantly being swung open and slamming closed making the whole place shake and the bell go off twice. Loudest Cafe in the area! read more

Ok I come here literally every weekday so I guess they've earned my 5 star - otherwise, what the hell am I doing there? Note to owners: please get some simple syrup involved. You're iced coffee is far too delicious to be ruined by all the sugar falling to the bottom. I have to like...suck from the bottom with the straw and regulate how much sugar i suck in with each sip...you're not Dunkin Donuts, your coffee is legit - get some simple syrup involved so the sweetness blends in. read more

This place is so amazing I almost want to dissuade people from going so I never have to wait for a table! The food is delicious and they use only the best ingredients. My favorites include the bagel breakfast sandwich, the Thai wrap, and the curry chicken salad. The coffee is top notch too! The service is lightning fast, especially when you consider how busy it can get on weekends. You'll often see Brittany, the owner, filling in where she's needed to make sure service is as good as possible. The employees are also incredibly friendly, even when it gets hectic. They treat their regulars like family and you'll often see employees coming in when they aren't working for a bite to eat and some coffee. read more

I'm a big fan! We are here often, probably two or three times a week for coffee. We enjoy breakfast very much, often getting sausage egg and cheese on wheat toast... Delicious. My daughter LOVES the PB&J... It's her first choice for eating out! Lunches, too, are terrific. I love the Avacado club, really delicious focaccia bread. The coffee is terrific! The best thing though, are the people. Never have a met a more responsive owner. Questions, concerns... She is the always ready to "take care of business". The staff is pleasant and engaging.
