Order took over 40 minutes and still wasn't complete. We gave up waiting on onion rings. To start with, they didn't have bananas for banana splits. We were given a 4 piece chicken strips with fries. We ordered a six piece honey barbecue glazed chicken strips with onion rings. They didn't bring out the under the rainbow shake and completely forgot two large soda's. After all that time and confusion from when we placed our order, the girl at the window asking what our order was and everything coming out one at a time, waiting longer for onion rings just wasn't worth it. We joke about how bad that drive through is since something is almost always wrong, this time was one of the worst. It's safe to say that we seldom go for anything more than a shake. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I took my children to grab a easy dinner tonight, and was met with the absolute rudest customer service. I know we had a large order of about 74$ and it was hard but I had no problem being patient and waiting as DQ was always worth the wait. Tonight the 4 mini blizzards we ordered were poorly done and messy when asking for lids and a drink carrier I was told no lids fit, the male employee proceeded to just shove them at me to take. We waited an additional 20minutes for the food and by then the blizzards where dripping everywhere and I kindly asked for a refund. The male employee took the blizzards back rudely shut the window and was cussing at someone through the headset to bring him money now for a refund. We ended up with on 16 of our 17.69 owed. I asked for the male employees name as he has been beyond rude during the entire transaction. He refused and I told him it was uncalled for his behavior and that he should not work there he quote "I'm quiting anyways" and slammed the door and cussed me out. I attempted to go inside the store and speak to a manager about him and there were cigarette buts everywhere and just plain dirty inside the "manager" didn't seem to know anything from corporate to the owners information. There phone does not work, upon getting home some food was over cooked and then some fries frozen! One of the Employee's sat in his vehicle right outside the door (the restaurant door was wide open)smoking. Gross!!! And on top of all of that, a girl who worked behind the counter was dropping the F bomb. Not cool for a family friendly place. The only positive thing i can say would be the young man at the register was polite and attentive. He should probably be the manager. The owners need to up their game. I will not be coming back. We were camping this past weekend and we decided to get some ice cream.. We have several DQ in Hillsboro Oregon where we live so we are not new to them. I ordered a peanut butter and brownie blizzard. I know it was special but it was two things that was it.. Well I ended up with a brownie blizzard... That was pretty disappointing. The other order was correct. Also we had to wait about 5-7 once we got to the window. I know they had a few people inside but not a lot. Just what I want after a long day of fishing/crabbing at the Garibaldi marina. I'll admit that part of the reason for the 4 stars is bc of the relative dearth of anything else edible and quality-controlled around the area. AMAZING! DQ has revamped their offerings since I'd last been...cherry and butterscotch topping? I was excited w/ just plain chocolate before! Don't forget to ask them to hold off on making your cone until you're done w/ your savory food. The girl who helped us the day we went was an excellent ice cream dipper. How do you know? Bite off the top of the dipped cone and try to inhale ice cream through it and if you can do it, then it means she was able to fully cover the circumference of the cone, thereby allowing you to create a sealed ice cream vacuum with your mouth! read more

This has to be the worst DQ in my opinion. I was passing through town and need a bit to eat, DQ is always safe. I was wrong, the restaurant was dirty and the door were prospered open. I was really cold inside and outside. I guess the door being open were for the staff. The speed of the food is slow but that because they cook it as order, not a problem. However my order was wrong and they put huge glob of mayonnaise on both burger, order no mayo and no one would want that much mayo. They fries were old and the staff were useless. read more

This place was not nice there was a huge spider web over where they make the ice cream and bugs every where and instead of cleaning the tables they were outside smoking. Also the bathroom was in the very back of the shop so you had to walk out side to use the bathroom and it was disgusting in there, no soap, and no paper towels so you had to use toilet liners or toilet paper to dry your hands. I have never given a one star review for anything in my life but tonight this Dairy Queen deserves it! We have lived here for just over a year now in this great lil town and find all the businesses here to be really great except this one! Time and time again we have gone and they are not serving the one thing that a Dairy Queen should have..... Icecream! It's either " being cleaned", "Broken", or just plain "OUT" all together. I can completely understand something going wrong once in a great while, but come on! Our family only gets icecream there and its 1 or 2 times a week and I can say that 25% of the time we are turned away for Icecream at Dairy Queen. What prompted this post is that last night I stopped by about 11pm for a couple blizzards, the machine was down being cleaned for the night, 1 hour b4 closing. Tonight, it's broken at 11:30pm, 30 mins b4 closing. In speaking with co-workers/customers today, I realized I'm not alone in my sincere frustration with this business. I'm truly inclined to believe like most others that it's the worker's just not wanting to do the job they are paid for. I'm not sure what their profit numbers are at the end of the night in this small town but I can ultimately guarantee that they are consistently lower than they would be if they had some employees who wanted to do their job! I can see why this location has 2 stars.... We walked over after dinner to order Blizzards. We were informed that they 'had to get new ice cream and it needed to get colder'. It took over 30 minutes to get 3 mini blizzards, and even then they were pretty soft. In fact, mine was pretty soupy and not even the right order. However, after such a long wait, there was no way I was going to ask them to remake it. We also received our order AFTER someone that ordered Blizzards at least 10 minutes after us. We like the hotel we're at, so if we stay here again, we'll either drive somewhere else for dessert or make sure to hit a local place up before they close. read more

I was doing a Fill in delivery route on Monday 09/16/19. And on my way back just around Lunch time. I was heading North on 101 and decided It was time for lunch. So I stopped at the Dairy Queen In Garibaldi. The girl at the counter was very Nice and helpful. I ordered a Double 1/2 pound burger meal to go. I asked for no tomato and extra pickles and offered to pay more for extra , She said nope not a problem.And within about 5 minutes I was walking out the door and was heading to my truck when the girl that was the cook was outside the back door told me to have a great day(Sweet Cute young lady), I said Thanks And was on my way. I opened the bag and had a nice size box of fresh fries, yummy! And when I opened up my Burger and took a bite. OMG it was the best Burger I had in a very long time. And when you ask for extra Pickles they put about 8 on there. Much better than other Dairy Queen's in the past that gave like 4 pickles. The burger was Juicy and delicious. Went here over 4th of July, the food was terrible, you could tell the counter person was new, which I have patience for ( we've all been there) But my hamburger was so dry, black and barely warm that the American cheese was just there, you could tell the hamburger was cooked and put to the side until it was ordered, we spent 35.00 dollars on all our food, If we weren't with hungry kids I would have sent the food back, instead took it as lesson, don't so back. we told our friends who live at the beach and they said NOOOOO never go there it horrible place to eat. wow, what business person wants that repertation from your locals.
