We were in line way before 9:30 PM and, customer service was slow. We were in the middle of ordering and a female stated she was not going to take our order. Then, a male employee got on the mic and started yelling that they close at 9:30PM. At this time it was 9:27 PM. We started our order at 9:25 PM and it was not 9:30 PM until the third employee (a female) was on the mic yelling the close at 9:30 PM. She shut the sign off, lights and mic. I prefer to use yelp to highlight good experiences and encourage others to have similar experiences supporting local businesses, but this is not one of those times. I figure if nothing is said, nothing will improve but then I read the other reviews. Rare to find a polite employee but what is not rare is ordering food, to the get to the window and be told they are out of things. This happens more than one would expect. Today was the last time I can say I will attempt to be a customer. After placing a $20ish order and attempting to pay with cash (a $50) I was rudely notified with a sprinkle of attitude "I can't take that, we even have it posted" as she pointed to a sign. A sign at the bottom of the stationary window that was now behind me. Not on the menu or any advance notice and with the sign it wasn't just a today thing. Any of these occurrences in their singularity are not a big deal, it's the fact that more times than not I as the patron have to alter why I came there because of something they can't or won't do and then having the experience dipped in a tub of poor attitude before being served to me is more than I need from DQ. The girl with the eyelashes she can take flight with either needs re training on customer service or straight up fired. Every time I go through the drive thru its alway right after the first thing I order and she tells me my total. No "anything else", Nada. Pull up to the window and hand her my fiances old debit card i had to transfer.money too since I forgot mine at home and it declined even tho I sent the right amount of money, no issue i did Google pay, apparently she either doesnt know how to use it or technical difficulties because it wasn't doing anything. Again no issue, I can always send more money. The part that irked me the most is as i was sending the card more money, she starts going off, with the window shut but not sound proof about how broke people shouldn't be eating at dairy and and 'broke people be broke' then takes my card with a fake smile like she wasn't just talking shit. My order was Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal and was supposed to be a 6 pc. Chicken Tenders with only Honey Mustard. The Crispy Chicken was too hot. I worked at two fast food restaurants if the food was too hot off the grill or fryer then the food had to wait a bit before going out to the customers and the grill/fryer would be adjusted depending on what one it was. Went there on a Friday night. This place is extremely slow. Ordered 5 blizzards with the family. After about 10 minutes, the girl finally filled the cups with ice cream. The. They let them sit on the counter for another 5 or minutes. Someone finally grabbed all 5 cups of ice cream and take them somewhere to make the blizzards. 15 minutes later she comes back with only 4 blizzards??? Then when I told her we were missing one, she looked confused and irritated until she looked at the receipt. Terrible service. From the time we arrived to the time we left was nearly an hour. Russells Point, Ohio, This is the slowest Dairy Queen I have ever been to. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries. Iced tea. Shredded chicken sandwich and strawberry milkshake. We waited 20 minutes. There was no bacon on the bacon cheeseburger. The burger and fries were cold. The chicken was hot, but dry. The ketchup we asked for was not put in the bag. the worst food and service ever they should take some lessons from the dairy queen in bellefountaine. went thru ordered a chicken strip basket a 6 piece chicken strip and a flame thrower combo and since it was after 8:00 we order what was on the board as 2 medium sundays or cones for 4.00 we order 1 cone and 1 sunday when i got to window was told i either had to get 2 cones or 2 sundays for that price couldn't get one of each so i said give me another cone then. well then they handed me my bag of food and 2 cones and tried giving me a sunday i was told i couldn't get i told her no and ask her if she charged me for that she looked me in the eye and said no. so before i pulled out i looked at receipt and she did charge me and i also didn't receive French fries for the combo,i went back in and ask for my money back for the sunday and ask for my French fries in which they brought me a little container with 7 or 8 French fries. by the way all this cost me almost 32.00 dollars in which i got two dollars and some change back for the sunday. last but not least after all that and the cost i get home and the food was awefull tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a couple hours. wow i don't usually post stuff about businesses but after paying that much money and that bad of service and that bad of food i thought i should warn people about that triple crown. i live at the lake and i wont eat there again. read more
