I tried a new flavor Blizzard -- Ultimate Cookie, which has Oreo, Chips Ahoy and Nutter Butter cookies. I would have given another star if it was blended about 30 secs more. The staff turned it upside down and it was so thick nothing fell out (I think they have to do this or it's free). It was tasty with lots of thick pieces of cookie.

Been here before, see other review. Same stuff as usual. Very lonely, just us. Nice view.

I ordered a small dipped ice cream. It was so small. I pointed it out to 2 different employees and they both just looked at me. I said it was kid if small and the woman said, yes small. I have been going g there since it opened. There is less and less effort being made.

There's nothing better than rediscovering an old classic. Tonight was the boys' annual winter school concert, and we made our traditional stop with the boys after the show. At first when we showed up it was completely empty and we weren't sure if it was open, but with hours until 10PM, I considered it to be lucky that we didn't have to wait in a line (something this DQ is famous for). We stepped in, it was toasty warm in there, tables clean, and we were greeted by the super friendly staff. I got the salted caramel Blizzard. Kiddos ordered up chocolate dipped ice cream in a waffle cone. First of all, I scored a major win with the Blizzard. I didn't know what to expect, but it was worth every bite. Chunky caramel pieces mixed with smooth chocolate ice cream. I was impressed with the waffle cone holder contraption wrapped around the boys' cones to help with drips. They also served the cones with a spoon...not something I've seen at other Dairy Queens. Yep, this place knows how to deal with messy kiddos. Remember my mention of the lines? I kid you not, right after we sat down with our ice cream, being the only customers in the shop, families and teens started coming in and the lines began. Worried that the cold treat competition may have gotten to this place, I'm thrilled to know they are a-ok and serving up lots of iced treats and proud smiles. Note: Their sandwich items are baked in an oven. Also, they serve up Orange Julius drinks with recipes from the past. Bonus: Stop by this time of year in the evening, and you can enjoy a great view of the lights wrapped around the trees in Port Clinton.

Knotty pine on the walls and fish mounts every direction that you look. I started with an Old Fashion that checked the box, and the famed Shrimp Cocktail. The shrimp cocktail was five large shrimp that were firm in texture and clearly fresh. The cocktail sauce tasted like it was from a bottle, it wasn't terrible, but certainly not made in house. The burger was straightforward and the beef was high quality but it desperately needs seasoning (salt and pepper for goodness sake). I ordered my burger with Swiss cheese, that probably wasn't the right choice, American would've been better. The grilled onions were cooked well, but again just a sprinkle of salt would elevate the burger. The bacon was crispy, which was welcomed because the rest of the burger experience was just - meh. My tab was $48 and some change, which isn't terrible in today's economy, however, I've had $48 meals elsewhere that were head and shoulders above. It was clear that this is a long standing tradition in the area, but the food taste is stuck in the past.

The decor is so cozy, it reminds me of my grandmas house in here haha, I love it. My partner and I split a pizza and it was plenty of food for the both of us. I also got a diet root beer , which is typically pretty hard to find so I loved that. We only waited maybe 10-15 mins for our order. Definitely recommend checking this place out!!

I ordered and paid for two small pizzas at the counter, and learned I had to go to bar for drinks. The same cashier came over to take my drink order, where I paid separately. In about 15 minutes, our pizzas were ready at the counter: One with only cheese, and the other with sausage. We immediately noticed the ruffled-edge crust, which looked more like a pie for dessert. We both took a bite of each pizza, and immediately disliked the cornmeal crust. It tasted to me like it was made from Jiffy corn muffin mix, with a cardboard-like hardness. My wife disliked it so much she barely ate one small piece of pizza. I liked their cheese and sauce, and especially liked the sausage. I managed to eat two pieces thinking I'll give it a chance, but hated that crust so much I couldn't eat a third piece. There are plenty of other items on their menu other than pizza, which are the only things we will consider for any future visit. The dining room is large with a dark, traditional wood decor. Parking is free in their own lot. Having no table service, other than cleaning tables, logically results in a tip and cost savings. Now that I know this is how Barnaby's operates, I am not down-voting them based on service.

I…read moreoriginally picked the place based on pictures of their nachos online, and they did not disappoint. The presentation was spot on, and every layer was generously coated with toppings. The only minor drawback was that the added protein felt a bit sparse, so I would likely skip paying extra for that on the next visit. As for the kids, they completely devoured the chicken quesadillas before I even got a chance to try a bite, which is a ringing endorsement in itself. The tacos here diverge from traditional street tacos. Instead of a light balance, they pack in a much higher meat-to-topping ratio. We tried the barbacoa and chicken tinga, both of which were expertly prepared and packed with rich, delicious flavor. However, because they are so heavily loaded and juicy, the tortillas simply could not maintain structural integrity. It was impossible to pick them up and eat them like standard tacos, but attacking them with a fork solved the problem easily enough. A special shoutout goes to the house-made salsas. Both the red and green options were outstanding and elevated every bite. Overall, the atmosphere and quality land right in that sweet spot--an upgraded, elevated step above a chain like Chipotle, while still being more casual than a sit-down, traditional Mexican restaurant. Paired with exceptionally friendly staff service, it was a great experience and a spot we would happily return to. Great outdoor seating.

They called a manager over and it was the same thing...not a clue! The manager finally told me she didn't have time to deal with me and just gave me a drink for free.
