So I just bought ice cream here and when the young man handed it to me he put the lid on the cup with no gloves!!!! And pushed the lid down so the ice cream could fit in the cup!! Then he handed it to me with the spoon I already in the cup with no gloves!!! Do they understand CORONAVIRUS!!! I asked to speak with the manager but the female worker said that management had just left and that she could take my name and number but I said I would call back! Came in for a quick soft serve ice cream. Place definitely did look a little...grimey. Floors were a bit dirty but the workers were nice enough. Bunch of childish and annoying kids around who did the unicorn challenge (grabs a soft serve and sticks it on his forehead) which was hilarious except for the fact that he threw the rest of the ice cream onto the ground and made a mess. Not only does this establishment not give a damn about its customers, I believe that the staff is discriminatory towards those with disabilities. We went through the drive through and ordered two beverages, a blizzard and a cake shake. It was torturous attempting to get the team member to understand the order. They then charged extra for pecans, etc. When we pulled up to the window, they handed us a cake shake that was completely different than what was ordered. We told them we ordered a vanilla cake shake, she then becomes argumentative replying "well I have you down for a strawberry", there was no apology no empathy. We tried telling her that not only was the flavor wrong, we were charged for pecans to be added, etc. She then just said try it if you don't like it just come back in, my friend tells her that he is in a wheelchair and points at his wheelchair in the back of his truck, she then replied well "just go back through the drive through then". This reply was completely absurd. How and why would someone say that, and if they had an ounce of respect they would have offered an apology for their error at the very least, which would have been the best thing to do. The situation continued to get worse, when we asked for a manager; one came to the window of which just became argumentative saying "just give it back", we tried explaining we don't want to have to wait again, we will just deal with it, but seeing we were charged for the pecans to be added to a vanilla cake shake would she kindly refund the amount for the pecans and the other things we were charged for because this means we over paid and we over paid for something we did not receive. They tried saying that a strawberry cake shake is the same price as a vanilla cake shake with pecans added so she refused to refund the difference. According to their menu board this is not true nor is it accurate. This debate went on at the window for several minutes, but the employee failed to offer an apology or take ownership of the stores mistakes and rather tried blaming us. Normally go through the drive thru and the service is on the quick side. Was on a time crunch on a Monday and the drive thru was packed so I parked and went inside. The person cleaning the tables greeted me, didn't get her name but she was about 4'11. The manager was at a register with an employee doing some type of transaction and ignored me. I stood in front of her for a a solid 3 minutes and there was no acknowledged. She called on the girl cleaning the lobby to come help and scolded the girl to hurry up. While I was waiting I noticed there is an absolute priority on the drive thru and none for the lobby. Talk about an awkward experience. Orange Julius is also one of my favorites but they have to make it more on the sweater side than orange side.
