    Specialty Ice Cream Cakes

I am thrilled with the specialty ice cream cakes I ordered with Dairy Queen Wyckoff this week! Wyckoff Dairy Queen is an institution we are so happy to have in our neighborhood--so naturally, I wanted to gift my kids graduation cakes from DQ. The manager was so kind and attentive, and quickly worked with me to ice the cakes with the logos from my kids' schools--attention to detail, delicious, well priced and made on time! Thanks, DQ! I'll recommend you to everyone. - Amy Shey Jacobs, Chandelier Events

Not a huge fan of Dairy Queen's in general. However, the staff here have always been nice and get the line moving fast. Everything is reasonably priced as well. I just wish they had more flavors. I'll always come back here because it's a staple, it could just be a lot better.

Nice DQ with good service. The new outdoor seating area is a big plus. The space is clean for a DQ. Service is courteous and quick.

You're going because they have something they you are craving. That's exactly what to place for me. I ordered online and it went very smooth. I'm talking to the point you can see where the delivery car is on their site. It's quite cool to watch. I got the feta and spinach cheesy bread and boneless chicken. I'll get the negative out of the way. Yeah, the chicken is the equivalent of a bag of frozen weaver chicken you get from the supermarket. It's a quick lunch with a BBQ sauce dip. That was kind of rough. The cheesy bread is SOOOOO good. I haven't had any but the spinach and feta. And it's covered in cheddar cheese. I believe there's like 8 pieces. It's greasy, you can taste the feta and the cheddar is gooey. Delivery is contact less. You put where you want it left when ordering. I got it while at work and the delivery guy poked his head in to let me know he was leaving it. I never had their pizza, but the cheesy bread hits the spot for lunch. I actually only had half and left the other half for lunch for another day.

Due to covid, seems like they try their best to wear gloves and masks and leave condiments such as cheese and pepper out to the public, Pizza was really fresh and well made! For 7.99 a garlic buttered crust pizza topped with bacon, pineapple, jalapeño hits the spot! In addition, service here is super friendly and nice, it's a pleasant feeling to do a pickup and the employees are actually happy to serve you!

It was on the quieter slower side for reservations which was more enjoyable. We started off with appetizers besides the table bread. The cheesy bread is a favorite compared to their normal bread. The Asian calamari from the specials list was not something I personally enjoyed as I'm not a teriyaki sauce person and the rings were a bit chewy. The ahi tuna everyone at my table seemed to enjoy as well. The clams casino were personally my favorite and I do wish we had ordered two of them as the clams were very small. Onto entrees most of us ordered some type of steak. Filet mignon, NY strip, or braised short rib. All were cooked to our perfect temperatures and well flavored. A bonus is that all entrees come with a salad, baked potato, or fries instead of having to order sides à la carte. The halibut oreganata was also delicious and a huge portion as well. I will say dessert was probably my least favorite part of the meal. The chocolate cake I had was just ehh it was extremely sugary and the vanilla ice cream tasted like breyers to me. The cookie dough cake was the best option our table chose as it was unique and well presented and not overly sweet at all. The coconut sorbet was alright but an extremely small portion for $12. The cannoli was also interesting and I would probably not order again as it tasted more meringue and sweet than the typical ricotta cannoli filling. Overall a good meal but we definitely could have changed the appetizers we ordered, and ordered no desserts. Our server Rolando was fantastic. We never had to ask for water, drinks to be filled, and he happily accommodated any questions or requests we had.

For $15, we expected at least 3 empanadas, but, nevertheless, they were very tasty and filled to the brim with brisket. They also came with queso and salsa for dipping. ++++ Tacos de Amor special with grilled skirt steak tips, garlic shrimp on corn tortillas was verrrrry good. The meats had delicious flavor and there was no skimping, however, we figured after our meal that the chimichurri was actually missing :( ++++ Fish Tacos with beer battered cod filets was excellent! It was topped with jalapeño tartar sauce and slaw and I absolutely devoured it! The fish was crispy and cooked well. ++++ Kids Cheese Quesadillas was as you would expect for kids quesadillas. They were super thin, with a layer of cheese, but our kids enjoyed it. + Waiter was great. He checked in on us a few times and made sure we had everything we needed. + Food arrived quickly. + Restaurant was VERY spacious with 2 separate dining rooms. + Plenty of parking outside as the restaurant is part of a super large strip mall. + There are a few large TVs in the dining room with the bar. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - As mentioned above, the missing chimichurri on the Tacos de Amor was a miss. The tacos were good, but definitely would have been even better with the sauce. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.

Do I go with a burrito or tacos? Do I try their wings or variety of fries? Well, being that it's called Bubbakoos Burritos, I went with the burrito. First you pick whether you want a burrito, burrito bowl, tacos, nachos, quesadilla or a Chiwawa (I have no idea what that is). Then you pick your protein. I went with the crispy Buffalo Chicken and my buddy went with the General Tso's. Next you add all your accouterments. I went with queso, white rice, black beans, pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, shredded cheese. My buddy got guac. I didn't know they had guac!! Ok. Pulling this out of the bag, I was thrown back. This baby is heavy. I'm talking a solid two pounds. I don't think quite three pounds but it's somewhere in between. I had to cut it for the cross section picture and feared it was going to all fall apart; which it didn't. The chicken was nice and crispy and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect bite. This burrito was packed with flavor. I know cilantro is not for everyone. That being said, I love it and it added the perfect accent to this burrito. For a lunch item, I was absolutely stuffed afterwards. The price is a buck or two higher than I would think it should be but in this particular case, I absolutely do not mind paying a little extra for the premium quality that you are getting. Plus, I do realize that are in prime real-estate in the Midland Park shopping center and that in itself can't be cheap. The staff was phenomenal. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of all their products. Everyone was so friendly and the way they work the process from ordering to when you walk out is quite efficient. Lastly, parking is plentiful being that it is in a large sized shopping center. I look forward to going back to give the tacos a shot and of course the wings are on my radar.
