Dalia is a new spot that serves tapas style plates. While pricey, the restaurant offers a solid variety of dishes. Some of our favorites included the hamburguesitas, paella, and all of the desserts. The branzino was beautifully presented but sadly a bit overcooked. Serves were extremely kind and even brought out a candle with our dessert since we were celebrating a birthday. Inside of the restaurant is beautiful though a bit loud and difficult to have a conversation in. Overall, a nice spot for a special occasion!

Major yum alert!! This place is not only gorgeous but has delicious food to boot. I had been seeing social media posts about this place for at least a couple months and so glad I finally checked it out. I loved the pan frito and especially the churro...so unique and the perfect balance of umami flavor and crunchy fluffy texture. Service was lovely as well, super attentive and helpful with great suggestions. We sat by the kitchen which got a little hot, especially in the heat wave we've been in, but it was fun to see how everything is made, especially watching them shave the jamón. Highly recommend, just make a res very far in advance!

The decor and vibes are amazing here! Service was pretty good too. All the food looked so good so i kept ordering. You can't go wrong but the dessert with the ice cream was a game changer!

Service: 10/10. Tori was an amazing server and made the experience Food: 7/10. It's a unique menu for Boston. It may be too "niche". For someone that lives in NYC, I personally loved it, but I saw everyone around us ordering the same thing. Drinks: 8.5/10. the drinks were good, the wine was good. They have a sommelier which, I did appreciate, and he was very knowledgeable about the wines. Ambiance: 10/10. They took antiques from all over Boston and the surrounding area to furnish this place. I LOVED that vibe and had seen the girl on TikTok decorating this place. Definitely a good idea by the Broadway Restaurant Group.

Firstly Thank you to our server Jacqline? (Sp) she was handling the bar. Top Tier customer service, personable, and a gem! protect her at all costs, she's good for the business! This place was popping and we understand why! I typically dislike tapas but this has changed my mind. Quality, flavorful and didn't feel like i got ripped off after haha. - Hamburguesitas Wagyu sliders, juicy (typically sliders at other spots are dry). Flavorful, buttery, and not too much bun. - Croquetas de Pollo - more marinated or seasoned protein ratio would be nice, felt i tasted mostly just cheese. - Patatas Bravas MUST order. Layered crispy potatoe blocks with aioli, spiced red sauce. Just order it... in fact order at least TWO! - Churro (crab meat & caviar) - thank you for this it was a surprise gift because our paella was taking much longer than expected. Warm churro bites with crab meat and caviar. Salty, creamy, GOOD. (Two pieces) - Pluma Iberico pork well cooked, chopped cutlet, i wasn't too big of a fan of the pairing for the garnish and side tho. - Hamachi crudo - fresh hamachi, nice bite of the fish. The yuzu citrus didn't shine for us, i love ginger but that's all i tasted. - Valencia Paella (half size) even at half size i thought the rice portion was very shallow. Flavorful, extremely well seasoned, ample bits of seafood and chicken! -Tarta Tatin- warm banana, rum caramel, vanilla bean gelato. OOooOooOoo this was a HIT! Most people i think order the basque cheesecake but im telling you try this one. Yummm Great spot for group dinner, date night, or like us a post workout meal. I everyone was dressed nice but we showed up in workout gear and it wasn't an issue. Definitely coming back!

Went for a birthday dinner, overall the place lived up to the hype. The biggest appeal was the ambiance - the interior decor is breathtaking. Everyone was taking photos. The food is a bit pricey for the portions, but then again very in line with tapas spots around Boston. We had the bravas, pulpo, prawns, snap peas, pan frito, and the veggie and chicken paellas. Everything was delicious, get the paellas and pan frito! My one complaint is that everything we ordered came 5-10 minutes apart, so we couldn't enjoy everything together. (For example, I would have loved to soak up the octopus marinade with bread, but we didn't have any). I would also advise staff to come around with water a bit more often. With Dalia being a new spot, it still has some service practices to smooth out, but that's natural. Also, managers come around with freebies from the kitchen- such a nice touch. Would recommend, of course!

Absolutely blown away! Worth every bit of the hype. My husband and I finally got a reservation here and we were completely blown away by how amazing this restaurant is. From the stunning design and thoughtful interior details to the special little features scattered around the space, the whole vibe felt elevated and special the moment we walked in. The food was spectacular across the board. We tried a variety of dishes and every single one was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was equally outstanding: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being over-the-top. We tried a variety of dishes: Spicy tuna - amazing (VERY spicy) Tuna - amazing Hamachi - amazing Mussels - great Scallops - good Churro - great Papas bravas - fine Croquette - amazing Gateau basque dessert - amazing!! We were lucky enough to sit right at the bar overlooking the kitchen, and it was such a cool experience watching the team cook all night. It added such an energetic, behind-the-scenes feel that made the evening even more memorable. This place is a hot ticket and reservations are notoriously hard to get, but it is 100% worth it. We will definitely be back the next time we can snag a table. If you're on the fence, just go. Highly recommend!

Hay platos súper creativos, algunos hasta raros but in a good way. Pero overall, I get the hype. Es uno de esos restaurantes que tienes que visitar aunque sea una vez en Boston.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with multiple bar spaces and table areas. Cocktails were excellent, especially the sangrias, and with an extensive wine list, as well. Our sever was excellent and very attentive. The menu was a little overwhelming, but with some well-executed tapas classics. The patatas bravas and paella were standouts. The menu was very pork-heavy - not shocking given the cuisine, but fairly limiting for those who don't eat pork for religious or other reasons.

Good was super yummy, sangrias were amazing if highly recommend. The waiter was knowledgeable and very kind. The look of the restaurant is so stunning on the inside, definitely will be back!

I will be talking about this meal for the rest of my life. The pan frito changed my life for the better. I've been telling everyone about it! As soon as I bit into that bread I felt everything change. It was crisp on the outside, oh so fluffy on the inside. Sweet and salty and smoky, buttery and rich. I am drooling just thinking of it. If you go here and can only get one thing, get the bread!! While the bread was the best thing I had, everything else was still really good. First of all, the atmosphere was wild. The theming was akin to a Disney world restaurant. I was waiting for Jack Sparrow to come take a photo with me during my meal. My mucha novia cocktail was tasty, refreshing, and strong. Our tapas started coming out first. The pollo croquettes were good- and like everything you only get a small amount- so we each had at least one between the four of us. It was crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Good, but compared to everything else ai had it became less memorable. Now, unfortunately for us, everything on the menu sounded delicious. The waiter helped us quite a bit with deciding what to get, and his recommendations were very helpful. The patatas bravas were his recommendation and were very delicious. Don't skip these!! Saucy and wonderful, crisp and smooth, I would definitely get these again. We also ordered two crudo playes which were excellent- the yellowfin tuna and the hamachi. Now I could be wrong but I believe it was the yellowfin that had the best citrusy element to it that was to die for. I'm really glad our waiter recommended these. For our mains, we ordered the wagyu ribeye filet and the Valencia paella. I've never had Wagyu or paella before but I thought both were excellent. The paella was amazing! The one we ordered was one without shellfish but the meats in it were spectacular and the rice was very flavorful and had a great texture. We also ordered dessert. Sadly, my phone died before I could take a photo of them. We had the basque cheesecake which was good but not as good as the bananas foster with vanilla gelato. That was incredible oh my gosh. The bananas were just at that perfect level of caramelization and paired with the vanilla gelato... oooh! So good. I would love to come back here again. I booked a reservation at their other restaurant, Capri for the next time I'm in Boston. I am SO excited. But remember above all- the PAN FRITO!!

The meal I had at Dalia last night was PHENOMENAL! Dalia is a new tapas restaurant in Southie & I'll be honest, I had doubts before trying their food because I could not believe a restaurant this beautiful could serve such delicious food! The interior... stunning! Dalia is operated by the Broadway Restaurant Group & you may be familiar with their other restaurants: Capo, Lincoln Tavern, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, Prima, Capri, & Hunter's Kitchen & Bar. We did walk-in and they were booked out for tables. Luckily, we were able to get two seats at the bar (first come, first serve!) Our server/one of the bartenders was perfect! She was super attentive & helpful with providing suggestions for what to order. This is what we ended up ordering: - Hamburguesitas - Croquetas de Pollo - Patatas Bravas - Churro (crab meat & caviar) - Pluma Iberico - Hamachi crudo - Valencia Paella (half size) -Tarta Tatin First, I want to start out by saying I am so impressed by how quickly the food came out! We expected a little bit of a wait since the restaurant was PACKED but everything came within minutes of each dish. Our favorites were the Hamburguesitas, Patatas bravas, churros, and Tarta Tatin! The Hamburguesitas were cooked perfectly to our liking & super flavorful. Normally with smaller thicker patty burgers, we've experienced the patty being dry & this was not the case here. It was juicy! Patatas bravas is always a must-order for whenever I go to a tapas spot. What set this Patatas bravas apart from other spots for me was that they cut the potato in layers! The aioli + salsa bravas were yummy too. We really enjoyed the churros because the churros were soft and fluffy. It paired well with the crab meat + caviar, a little bit salty, a little bit creamy... can't go wrong. Now, the Tarta Tatin has got to be my favorite dessert I've ordered in a VERY long time. This was our server's recommendation & I'm so glad we went with this dessert. The hot bananas with the rum caramel & vanilla bean gelato, too good! Out of everything we ordered, this was my ultimate favorite! I would literally come back... just to get this dessert. Opinions on the other dishes: Croquetas de Pollo- wished there was more meat filling and less cheese Pluma Iberico- the pork was cooked perfectly but did not like the pairing with the passionfruit caramel + quince jam. Hamachi- the fish tasted fresh! Wish there was more citrus/yuzu taste. Did not like the bits of ginger. Felt like it overpowered the dish and took away from the fish. Valencia Paella- ordered the half size. Smaller than expected but it was super flavorful! Lots of seafood, wish there was more rice. All of the dishes we ordered were very delicious, overall. I'm glad we got to try everything and now we will know what to order next time, based on what we loved/did not like as much from this visit. Food was fire, service was 10/10, ambience was lively, and the restaurant is beautiful + aesthetic! Prices were on par with other nearby tapas spots... a bit pricey but food and service were great. Will definitely come back again ;) Parking: free parking lot across the street + free street parking.

Great experience here recently. The place is beautiful. The food and drinks were so good, and the service was on point. Already thinking of the next time I can go. The bread, dessert, and the sliders wow'd me. Everything else was great also.

I had been craving fish tacos for a really long time, and I was delighted to find a whole section of the menu dedicated to them. We started off with margaritas - one of the best companions to fish tacos - and I ordered mine spicy with jalapeño. For food, we shared the lobster empanadas and chorizo and potato taquitos. I ordered the tempura fish tacos for myself. Our margaritas were brought out shortly - mine was refreshing but lacked the kick from the jalapeño that I was hoping for (there was only one thin slice of pepper). Our food was brought out shortly, and I found it a bit overwhelming when our appetizers and tacos came out together. I started with my tacos, and these were excellent. The fish was flaky and fried to perfection, and I loved the rainbow of sauces and toppings. Plus, the tortillas were nice and sturdy and didn't tear. The lobster empanadas were super decadent, and I appreciated the substantial amount of lobster stuffed inside. I was too full to eat much of the taquitos but took a few bites. These also had good flavor but weren't standouts. Next time, I'd just get the tacos and maybe a light app. Towards the end of our visit, the restaurant seemed to clear out, and we had a difficult time trying to locate our server for the bill. Overall, we had a nice meal and satisfied the fish taco craving.

The Seaport space is just as stunning--decked out in pink, super aesthetic, and definitely a fun, photo-worthy vibe. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. For drinks, I ordered a pitcher margarita with jalapeño, and it was disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and came across more like artificial jalapeño flavoring rather than real infusion--and it wasn't spicy at all. For food, we ordered a variety of small plates to share. Everything was decent, but nothing really stood out. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the atmosphere. The biggest issue was the service. It was very slow throughout the night, and getting the check was especially frustrating--it took about 30 minutes, and we had to ask multiple times before finally receiving it. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful and perfect for a celebration, but the drinks and service didn't match the vibe. Hoping this was just an off night.

Came here for dinner for the first time. Hubby and I ordered their hot honey chicken pita wrap,…read moregreco fries, build your own salad, and the classic loukoumades. Total came out to approximately over $40. What's Hot - Menu. Simple and straightforward. It's not a large menu and easy to figure out. - Quality. Pretty delicious, with the exception of the greco fries, which I explain below. For my build-your-own salad, I ordered spicy whipped feta as a topping, which was probably the best part of my salad. The spice doesn't hit you right away, but it's definitely spicy, which my husband and I liked, especially because we have a pretty high tolerance. My husband liked his hot honey chicken wrap. The hot honey was spicy, as well, which is a good thing, because every place is different. The loukoumades was pretty good. No skimping on the toppings. - Location. Fairly easy to find and right by the harbor. As such, it's conveniently located to other attractions, shops, and restaurants. - Price. Fairly good value for money. That we were able to order 4 dishes for approximately $40 is pretty good value. - Service. They use paper containers for the food when dining in, which I like, because it may be more environmentally friendly. There are 2 kiosks where you can order, which is pretty straight forward. What's Not - Service. My issue is about a specific incident that happened while we were there. The staffers were putting our order together at the pickup counter. As such, some items were on trays on the counter, while other items were being put together. There was another customer there, who had his large dog with him. He allowed his dog to put his head and paws on the pick up counter, where our order was being put together. None of the staffers said anything. As such, my husband instructed the other customer to take his dog off the food counter. This other customer's dog did not appear to be a service animal. The other customer responded to my husband that no one else had a problem. The main concern is sanitation. A dog is putting its head and dirty paws on the counter where food is being served. Had the dog put its head and/or dirty paws on our food, or licked our food, or made a mess, or whatever, that would have been a concern. That none of their staff said anything was not a good thing, because it directly affects food sanitation. - Quality. The greco fries are nothing to write home about. Not flavorful and did not stand out. They also skimped on the feta cheese that topped our fries. Would not order again and would not recommend. Also, a couple of the olives in my salad still had the pits in them, which I didn't like. Just something to be aware of. For the loukoumades, all the flavor came from the topping. The fried doughnut holes didn't have any flavor and we're uncertain whether that's intentional. - Portions. The portions tend to be on the smaller side. This is not a place where one dish will fill you up. Final Answer Willing to return, but not a first choice.

We walked into a warm, energetic space with dim lighting, an open dining room, and a constant buzz that makes it a great choice for a night out with friends or a date. The restaurant has a vibrant, social energy that encourages sharing and exploration, and the open layout adds to the sense of activity without feeling chaotic. Rather than ordering individual entrées, the experience is centered around sharing a variety of dishes, making each visit feel a little different depending on what you choose. The tapas are the highlight of the menu, with plenty of options that encourage trying a little bit of everything. The bacon-wrapped dates are one of the signature dishes, balancing sweet and savory flavors, while the patatas bravas, croquettes, and charcuterie boards are reliable choices to start the meal. If you are looking for something more substantial, the seafood paella and squid ink pasta stand out as excellent main dishes, offering rich flavors and generous portions that are easy to split between two or more people. The olive oil cake is also worth saving room for if you want to end the meal with dessert, and the overall progression of the meal works well with the tapas format. The drink menu is just as impressive as the food. Wine is the main focus, with an extensive list featuring Spanish and international selections, but the sangria and cocktails are equally popular. It is the kind of place where you can easily spend a couple of hours sharing plates while working your way through a few different drinks, and the beverage program is thoughtfully curated to match the style of the food. Service is one of the restaurant's strongest points. The staff are knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list, and dishes arrive steadily throughout the meal instead of all at once, creating a relaxed dining pace. The pacing allowed us to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed, and the team checked in at the right moments without hovering. The restaurant is consistently busy, especially on weekends, so reservations are highly recommended. Even with a reservation, there can occasionally be a short wait, and the lively atmosphere means the dining room can get quite loud during peak hours. The energy of the room is part of what makes the experience work, but it is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quieter dinner. Barcelona Wine Bar is one of the best places in Boston for Spanish-inspired tapas and wine. The combination of flavorful shareable dishes, a well-curated drink menu, attentive service, and vibrant atmosphere makes it an easy choice for group dinners, celebrations, or date nights. It offers a meal that feels both communal and polished, with a setting that encourages slowing down and enjoying the evening. Just be prepared for the energetic environment and plan ahead if you are visiting during the busiest times.

We were burned two times (not egregiously, but where we had to go to mediocre establishments that had seating availability for a reason), but no more. Parla isn't an off-the-charts Italian restaurant, but it was above average and the cocktail situation is excellent. I stumbled across Parla last year when we were looking for dining options, but alas, not in time to secure a reservation. The cocktail menu looked intriguing (particularly their ye olde shrub cocktail mix and match section) and the location seemed convenient. This time around we made dinner reservations about two months in advance, which I'd pretty much recommend for anything in this neighborhood if you have the ability. We came by this past Sunday before the Celtics/Timberwolves (there were multiple patrons wearing jerseys, including us) around 5pm in the rain. The entrance is a little nondescript but ultimately easy enough to spot. It's a pretty intimate interior with limited seating (maybe 10 tables or so?) and only four bar stools at the bar in the back. We were seated by the front window which was nice but again, offered at that time merely an excellent view of early spring weather. The food we had was good, and yet not the selling point - sort of a compliment, sort of not. We split the seared octopus app, which was interesting but ultimately not my favorite way to eat that particular seafood; I'm used to it grilled. We were both a little surprised to see it in salad form and had to refer back to the menu, which did mention one of the other ingredients as arugula (a fair clue). I would recommend they put the word "salad" in the official name of the app though; my guess is we probably opt for something else if we had that additional information. That said, it was fine - I wasn't crazy about the pairing of octopus and balsamic vinegar/arugula, which to me and my chum dominated the palate over the octopus, which should totally be the star of the dish. For my entree, I went with the chicken parm, which was very good - decent portion for sure and I almost finished it despite eating two other meals fairly recently. Interestingly, the best part is the sauce - it's a sweeter sauce that's thick but not chunky. Really good, and something I'd get again in a pinch. The cocktails are really something. For me, I stumbled a little out of the gate with the shrub section, opting for a mule with strawberry peppercorn. It wasn't bad but for my palate, it felt off - that's a drink I should be getting in July, not a nippy/rainy March evening. On me completely. My chum got the margarita equivalent and liked it enough to order it two more times. But I shifted to a very cool gimmick they had, which I believe was called Dungeon Master (an homage to D&D?), where you rolled a 20-sided die and had to pick whatever cocktail was associated with the specific number, no questions asked. My chum gets a little naughty with gin so couldn't risk it and had to just watch mournfully on the other side of the table as I played twice. Both of my mystery cocktails had gin in it, so...probably the right decision, at least from my perspective. I don't want to provide spoilers and damage the integrity of the game, but the nuanced layers to each drink are exactly why I love mixology/a good cocktail - the only kind of science I truly get behind. (I also liked learning about clouds in 5th grade). Very cool feature and something I'd love to make an annual tradition. Our waitress was great. She initially seemed a little eccentric/ditzy (in a good way), but it was clear that that was a mirage - she was VERY observant and at the end of the meal knew my first name for my specific credit card because earlier she'd noticed my head tilt when someone at another table used it. Really impressive stuff and a huge asset for the restaurant. She also was super knowledgeable about the menu and the cocktails specifically, and it was fun to guess what was in each of my mystery beverages with her after I took a few experimental nips. Very cool, very unique establishment. Glad to finally find a selling point for the North End.
