I got recommended to this smog shop by my mechanic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The gentleman doing the service is always busy with clients, which is a really good sign of trust amongst his clients.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The shop is small, but well organized. It's a "Pass or Free Retest" shop. Pricing is fair. It's a lot a cheaper than others near the area. He's fast, and efficient with his time. I've been coming here for three years now.

I found this Smog station on Yelp, and went here based on the time of day. Many other spots were not open, and I live a few blocks a day. It was perfect. I waited just a few minutes, as the owner was helping a customer. I was next, and was given a bottle of water. It hit the spot, since I was very thirsty, haha. FIVE STARS. This the only place where I have gone, to do the smog check on my 1998 jeep Cherokee and with NO complications at all, I got the smog test results... PASSED. I highly recomend this place. They are professional, courteous, affordable price and fast service. It is really good to RATE the places where WE GO, so WE can help each others and let others so they WON'T waste money and time. Called and spoke with Mack and he said come on down its not too busy! So I took my sons car down to him to get smogged, it was past due on the tags. Mack was fast and efficient and the price was great! It was raining today but I have another truck that also needed smog. So I drove back to the shop, and picked up the truck and took it to him. It was worth it. I think it took 10 minutes, we spent more time talking about other stuff than the smog. Great service, I highly recommend. Happy New Year all! read more

I can tell you 5 sure things: Honest Friendly Provides great service Fast Reasonably priced if not cheap I would definitely recommend Dan's if you have to get your car smogged. avoid!!! avoid this place..... the guy fail the car instead of checking first if it was ready to pass it.... this place made me spend almost 1k in repairs for a stupid gas tank lid sensor. there was abosutely nothing wrong with the car. if i had gone somewhere else where they would have "checked first" if it was ready to pass it, instead of failing it, i would have saved a lot of money, time and headache. go somewhere else!!!! read more

Came here during the week to get my smog check done the guy was with another customer and asked me to park and give him about 10 mins , wasn't much of a wait which was great! Waited less than 10 mins and it was my turn he was very friendly and respectful he got my smoke check done in less than 10 mins and charged 45$ for a 2013 which was great every other place I called charges minimum 55$ definitely recommend this place! Will be coming back here with my other vehicle next year! read more

Was super quick and he was so nice and personable. I would recommend this place to everyone. I always get charged for smog than another fee for the certificate and here is was all $45 and they send the results right away via Internet so you can pay your plates online much faster. I came here twice in the past few months, and both times, my experience was great. Max is super helpful and informative. His estimated time for completion is really quick, but both times, he's done it faster than expected. Passed with flying colors. He also provides water and bubble gum, which is a very nice gesture. Amazing customer service. Upon arrival we were given cold water bottles and greeted which was great because it was so hot. The service was very fast. Staff is very friendly. They also retest with in 30 days if your car doesn't pass the first time. Our technician even checked out another problem for free. This is the place to go!!! I made an appointment through their website, very user friendly, and received a confirmation text shortly after. I decided I needed to modify my appointment, there didn't seem to be an option to do it on the website, so I texted the number back and asked to change my appointment, this was done quickly without issues. I arrived to my appointment 10 mins early. Dru was very helpful, friendly and professional. He entered my car's info into the system, and once my car passed the smog check, everything was updated and entered into the system already so that when I pay my registration, the DMV (or in my case, AAA) will see that my car passed the smog test. In case the system isn't updated, I was provided with a hard copy certificate to prove that it passed. My entire appointment took 10mins altogether, can't beat that! Pricing was fair and affordable, depends on the year of your car. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a quick smog check station.

There were definitely some challenges along the way, especially with permits in our city. Apparently it is much tougher than others when it comes to permits, and it ended up requiring a lot more paperwork and extra effort than he expected. Even with all that, Cyrus stuck to his original quote and never tried to charge us more, which we really appreciated. Jaime and Jesus handled the installation of the air handler, ductwork, and heat pump. They worked hard, were very respectful of our home, kept things clean, and honestly were much quieter doing the work than I expected considering all the cutting and installation involved. They also worked hard to finish ahead of the timeline they originally gave us. Inspection passed with no issues, and now we've been using the AC for months with zero problems. Overall, we're really happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.

Please do not support this business anymore. They Hispanic man was making so many racial comments and made me very uncomfortable. 3/6/20 ((I know it's Hard in Torrance for black people)) the first thing he said to me SMFH! He lied to me saying he was not going to complete the test knowing I had to get work done AND STILL DID IT AND CHARGED ME!! Gave this place a call around 10 minutes after they opened. They assured me that they'll get it done within 10 minutes and for only $50. What else had to be said?? Straight forward, kind people. The guy that smogged my car, Frank, real ass dude. Shared some stories, shared some laughs. Gone a few times. Good place to have smog done. Once my car hadn't passed, saw Sonny the owner of encino computerized auto center next stall over. He looked at my bmw and saw something wasn't connected fixed it and didn't even charge me even though I offerd him money. Honest people, can't judge a book by the cover. If you need a smog check please go to this shop. This place is really fast and gets you out in 15 min at most! Max helped me out when I went in today around 1pm and I was out at 1:10pm.
