Great place if you have a long time to have breakfast or lunch. Good food but don't think you are gonna get in and out quickly. This is like when you go on vacation down south or to an island and everything just seems to take a little longer. So don't be in a rush when you come here. The best pork roll at the shore! Danny's is my go to for pork roll, egg and cheese. Second to none! Even the pork roll on the side with my eggs was cooked to perfection. Everyone I've brought there has loved the food (some people order something other than pork roll, go figure!) The place itself is small. It truly is an old school luncheonette/diner. The kind of atmosphere I love with a friendly staff/ownership. Reminder, they only accept cash. read more

We ordered breakfast for pickup, egg sandwiches, French toast and an everything bagel with nothing on it. They gave us a pork roll which my wife can't eat, the French toast didn't seem cooked properly and smelt funky, and the bagel seemed a day old. Danny's seems like a very basic diner, but for some many things wrong you have to wonder what's happening there. Maybe they're too busy to keep track of orders? Also, not vegetarian friendly as bacon bits were in the potatoes. read more

Cash only. Very small place. The people are very nice and welcoming. They try to please and everything is cooked the way you ask. Soft scrambled and bacon on a roll with a side of we'll die home fries outrageous. My mouth is watering. The place is clean and there is ample parking. Open for breakfast my favorite and lunch. The only drawback there is only one speed. The food is worth the wait but don't be in a hurry. read more

I can safely say this is the best "no frills" breakfast place in the area. This is the definition of a Jersey breakfast place. Super blue collar, super cheap, big portions and the food comes out quick, hot and fresh. Eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and coffee all for under 7 bucks but it taste like you're paying double. read more

Such a good spot! Stopped here for a quick morning breakfast. We sat outside to enjoy the warmer weather. I ordered an omelette (mushroom and provolone) that came with home fries and toast. It was perfect. The potatoes were crispy, the omelette was folded beautifully, and the toast was toasted just right and buttered for us. Service was great. I am a lover of all things breakfast and Danny's Place is my absolute favorite breakfast spot around. You can find me here every Saturday morning :) and any morning when I need a friendly face and a homey vibe. Danny and Carm are just the be best. Danny makes the BEST eggs! And his french toast is bomb and his cheese burger deluxe is perfection. If exceptional service is your thing, Carm will always have a smile on her face and your coffee cup will always be full. Had lunch here with a friend the other day due to the good reviews on Yelp. Little place the seems like it's been around for quite some time. Waitress was very friendly as was the cook. The quintessential mom-and-pop spot! The food is fantastic; it's basic breakfast fare done flawlessly. There are two people running the place: a woman who manages the front end, and a man, presumably her husband, making all the food. Just a couple of honest, hardworking, friendly people providing no-frills type of meals. Extra praise goes to the waitress who never let my coffee cup go empty! read more

Danny's is a small place, where from the outside seems like nothing special, but do not pass up this gem. You can watch over the counter as Danny works his magic while he cooks your homemade meal. His regular menu is filled with delicious classics that are sure to please, and the blackboard with the specials showcases some of Danny's magnificent creations. The only bad part about this place for me is trying to decide what to have because there are no bad choices. Delicious sandwich, meat was sliced perfectly, bread was sooooo good toasted to perfection and incredible tasty. Danny and the woman at the front were very kind and accommodating. What can I say about Danny's Place other than it took one bite to make it an instant favorite. Made by Danny himself and served to us by his wife, the Egg and Bacon sandwich I had and the Pork Roll my wife had were utter perfection. Never had a breakfast sandwich brought such a wide smile to my face. At an unbelievably low price point, you really can't go wrong. My wife and I have gone here every single morning on our vacation so far and Danny already knows our orders when we walk in. I feel like a local, and I love it. Danny's Place is not only my favorite breakfast joint in the Jersey Shore, I think it might darn well be the best Breakfast place I've ever been to. We will be frequenting Danny's for years to come whenever we are in Jersey. read more

Danny's place is a small, divey, a little dingy, neighborhood place that should not change a thing. "You can't have good fast food or good food fast!" It's one or the other. My wife and I found Danny's on Yelp and couldn't resist the 5 star rating. We walked in about 10am and it was packed. There is about 12 counter seats and 7 - 4 person tables (if I remember correctly). The only available space was at the counter next to an old couple which is where we sat. The women spoke w Danny (the grill man/owner) as if she knew every detail of his life. We picked up the sticky menu, I ordered a platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and French toast and coffee. The Wife ordered a platter w eggs, bacon, Taylor ham (pork roll in south Jersey) and pancakes. We were poured our coffee which was typical diner coffee, I've had better and worse. It wasn't bad. We hung out and listened to the locals talk w Danny and watched as Danny made love to his grill. He was making home fries, eggs etc. throwing stuff in the microwave, chopping veggies and cheese, frying eggs in a pan on the stove, he was to his kitchen what a classically trained pianist is to a set of ivories on a Steinway piano in Carnegie Hall, very impressive to say the least, all while maintaining his conversation with his customers. We sat for a short while, absorbing the atmosphere. We watched Danny make order after order. Ultimately we seen our order come to life on the grill and we were served. My French toast had a delicious puddle of melted butter which I lovongly mixed w syrup. The eggs were great, the thick cut bacon was cooked perfect. My wife had the same experience as I except she made love to her pancakes, she shoved a forkful in my mouth and they were great, chewy and tasty. They had a great texture and flavor. For years my Wife has told me my pancakes are her favorite. This was the end of an era as she leaned in and whispered "these are my new favorites", heartbroken, I had to agree, they were really good. Overall we had a great experience at Danny's and that experience is clearly 5 star worthy. I kept noticing Danny pull thick frozen meat from the freezer and put it on the grill. I asked Danny what is was, he said "homemade, spicy Italian sausage that people love with eggs". Maybe next time. I can't wait to return. read more

It's small and quaint, but the people working are friendly along with the locals that came in. I got Danny's Fav omelette and being from VA, I had no idea what pork roll was. This is our new go to saturday morning breakfast spot. I'm not big on breakfast myself but the mrs loves it ("Danny makes the best eggs!" she adds). Luckily, it's also our go to Saturday lunch spot too. My favorite burger in the area but I always check the specials board just in case. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area for breakfast or lunch. Lots of vintage photographs of the area if you're into that. Cash only. read more

I get it, but to embarrass a family that was obviously finishing the evening and had just spent $1,000 is unconscionable. Customer service should be your goal. Please rid yourselves of this little troll before it's too late. No, unfortunately we will not return.

As I was leaving, I saw Seagrass! Linda was exceptionally nice as she had people sitting outside to get in! I was a party of one and sort of in a hurry!
