Wow, was pleasantly surprised by this place. Randomly found it on a work trip and was pleased with both the quality and presentation of the food. I ordered the steak kabobs which were wonderfully flavorful and served on a porcelain plate. That was awesome considering the place is setup like a fast-food place. First time eating here as a recommendation from a co-worker. The place was nice and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Greek bowl without the cucumber-tomato salad as I told her I was allergic to tomatoes. There was a guacamole dip in there. A few small tomatoes (I hope I don't swell up later.) If someone mentions there are allergic to tomatoes, you may want to advise them about other topping in the food that has tomatoes. The chicken was pretty tough. It was a bit over cooked. so i lost my daphnes virginity here! cant believe it took me so long to give the place a try! walked in saw some nice yummy lookin pictures of plates and when i saw the kebob i knew i had to get it! i found they had a lunch menu with the steak kebob for around 8$ so i went and got that it came with a salad of tomato & olive...a side of yummmy but sorta chunky tzatziki sauce, a few slices of pita bread and rice pilaf & one skewer of steak with onions and bellpepper. truthfully thats a pretty small ass meal! even with the side of $1 hummus i got but it was yummy. all was yummy the small very small chunks of steak i got were delicioso! all that plus a drink was a lil over $10... im a fan read more

i've been dying for some gyro and not knowing any place where i can get those new york style street cart gyros, i decided to give daphne's a try. let me just say, comparing them to the new york street carts is just not fair because that's like comparing a 5 star restaurant to elementary school lunch...it's just not fair. so anyway, i accidentally ordered a pita sandwich that was fried.....totally gross and not what i wanted, so i returned it and had them prepared just the regular gyro. it was OK. it didn't totally satisfy my gyro craving, but it was enough so that when i'm craving gyros, i remind myself of what i ate at daphnes and that alone just killed my cravings. although, someone in our party did have the chicken plate, and the chicken was actually pretty good! and thats why i gave them another star. oh, it's just too pricey for what they serve! but i do give props to the workers there, they were pretty friendly. read more

Last time I went was horrible customer service. The cashier acted like we owed her something with such a bland and straight face. REALLY?! (She was a dirty- blonde caucasian woman, for anyone curious. Wasn't able to get her name and I wish I did...). They took forever with our order and in addition, noticed the customers sitting next to us actually got up and complained because they, too, didn't get their food in a timely manner. I get it, when a restaurant is busy, your order will take longer to make. I also work at a restuarant so I know the pressure. However our service was unlike Daphne's. I've been coming here since I was little. And boy, has the quality/portions of food changed over the years. The price doesn't do itself justice. I'm not wasting my money at this location again. Would rather go to the newly opened Zait Bistro off of Haven and Baseline. I'm not one to really review restaurants because I usually give them a chance before I actually post. 5 stars for the quality and freshness of the food! Customer service was horrible! The place was completely dead one cashier, one cook and a manager ? Not welcoming at all or very helpful. The manager guy with glasses shouldn't even be a manager. Was rude and not friendly at all. Asked to redeem our free cookie and he made it seem like we were bothering or inconveniencing him. Made a big fuss about it and then didn't even give us a cookie just gave us a piece of baklava. Food was great but will not return to this location because of the customer service. read more
