I wanted to share feedback on my recent service visit, which was handled by Yanni. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of the professionalism I expected. During the visit, Yanni repeatedly commented on how challenging it would be to service my home, emphasizing issues with the construction and criticizing the work done by the builders. When I walked him through the house, I explained that I needed to return to a work call and asked for an estimate on the cost and timeline for the service. Instead, Yanni informed me that servicing my house would be too difficult and recommended I contact another company. This was surprising, especially since another company successfully completed the same service last year without any issues. I had chosen Dapper Duct Cleaning based on glowing recommendations from my neighbors in our local Facebook community, but my experience didn't reflect the high praise I had heard. After this interaction, I did some additional research and was surprised to learn that Yanni is the president and owner of the company. I would have expected a higher level of professionalism, problem-solving, and customer care from someone in his position. While I understand that not every job may be feasible, the communication during the visit felt dismissive and unhelpful. I had hoped for solutions or, at the very least, constructive guidance on next steps. Given the positive reputation Dapper Duct Cleaning has in the community, I trust this experience is not reflective of the company's usual standards. My family and I just moved to Columbia Md. and this is the first time we every decided to have our ducts cleaned. I originally called a service that promised to clean my system for $59.99 but when they arrived the price quickly reached over $1800 not including mold treatment which was an extra $400. I heard of Dapper Ducts through a friend from DC and reviews on yelp, and I can say these guy really lived up to their reputation. When I called Yani was very helpful and did not hesitate to explain the cleaning process. The pricing was very fair and the scheduling was very timely. Furthermore, the technicians Joseph and Devin was very professional and polite. When they arrived they were very courteous during the walkthrough and gave me the exact price Yani quoted me over the phone. I will recommend this company to anybody. read more

These guys are the absolute best. Great service. It's super hard to find any reliable home service professionals in DC and these guys have been among the best. The President, Yani, has been to the house several times and is always super personable, engaged with the work, and aims to please with service. In fact, he was on WhatsApp with us at 8 AM trying to help fix an HVAC issue just this morning. And when we couldn't fix it ourselves, he made the 2 hour drive to our place just to make a 5 minute fix to get our AC working again. Again, excellent service. Highly recommend. read more

People are so quick to complain about everything. Just imagine is someone came to your job to harass (You). You would not feel great that day. Now just imagine you are doing work for 100 new people. Get my point. People dont like being upsold well then dont buy. These jobs are done for a 25% off the original price. groupon gets half and they dont do much but advertise the business owner. The owners do all of the work. so QUIT complaining and go and pay full price else where. read more

Your driver engaged road rage. He drove me off road twice and followed me for miles. he screamed at me and threatened to rip my head off and kill my family. Among "stupid fuck" and other profanities, he screamed saying "I'm rip your head" and "kill your family" at least 100 times while cornering me. I reported it to the police. The police said she called and left messages but the owner has not called back. Maybe the person who threaten my life if the owner. read more

They did a great job as a follow-up to another firm which did a disastrous partial job of duct cleaning. They were courteous and thorough while taking pains to protect furniture and walls from equipment damage. All processes were explained in advance and they discussed aspects of their work with my HVAC installer/maintenance man who was impressed with their knowledge. I would highly recommend them and will personally use them again. read more

Yani and Joe were simply fantastic. They've helped with our buildings dryer vents but today they went over and above the call of duty to help me with a disconnected vent pipe! Not only was the quality of their work top notch but I was also impressed by the clean up they did. You don't see that often.
