Love, Love, Love my New Lexus GX! The BEST buying experience ever! Definitely will be back for future purchases!

Well you are lucky you get one because there was no negative star available. So here is the deal..... So the old Black guy who has been there since the building has been built...by the way whoever says that is bound to be a dead beat, so stay away! Apparently he is the service manager with the cheap suit, AKA S&K Brand suit if you know what I mean! The clown is definitely the cheap new PG County money, and parked his Toyota at the Toyota dealership up the street so he can front like he drives a Lexus. Got it? Now we are all on the same page so you have now have a visual! One would think when you go to a dealership you are taking your car to the experts, right? Well I guess it's my fault for thinking being a college grad and all! After several tows and interactions with the S&K Brand Suit Clown my patience was growing thin. From a non transmission issue to a alarm issue...Mr. Clown had me going in circles like they do in the circus around their little clown car. With that being said the issue to my car was never fixed and my wallet def felt the pain but let's be clear not to the point I had to go to S&K and buy suit! So if you want to avoid tomfoolery stay away from the Lexus of Silver Spring and the old guy who has been there since the building had been built. I purchased a wonderfull 2012 QX 56 with very low mile but when it came to recieving my hard tags it was a nightmare. I purchase the vehicle May 14, 2016 and as of August 22, 2016 I have not received my hard tags! I live in Maryland so I am not sure why I would not have my hard tags two and half months later. I am not able to get back and forth to work or just take my family to the movies because I dont have any tags on my car. I even checked with MVA to see if I had a ticket or flag on my license that would provent me from receiving my tags. Nothing! The sale reps are great but beware of the Finance Office!!! Tony Kerney is the best Service writer in the Business for Lexus of Silver Spring, MD I drive back to Maryland just to get my car serviced professionally at this location. My oil change and service is over $105 but the service and effectiveness is so worth it. I appreciate Tony Kerney because he is professional and also very thorough. 2nd visit tells me stay far away from this dealership service department. Dropped my Es350 off for a vibration issue when accelerating over 65 MPH. Get a call for a quote of over $2,800 for 2 new wheels which the tech say were bent and new front and rear sway bar links. Completely disgusting over charge. Took my car else where and found out my 2 wheels just had curb rash and were not bent and the aftermarket sway bar links were good quality and not the cause of the vibration also. I had a bad inner tie rod. Had to pay 175.00 for a bullshit diagnostic check which Darcars of Lexus Silver spring most likely never really took time to check over my car. We recently purchased a Rx 350 Sport. Jose Guerra was excellent and easy to deal with. We had stopped by a few weeks earlier and told him we were not going to buy and just wanted to look around. Knowing that we would not buy, he still took the time to show us different cars and options. We wanted to see the longer L version which was not available at that time. He then messaged us a few weeks later the the L version was there for comparison and arranged a time for us to see. Again showed us multiple Rx350s, in different trims with no sales pressure. He gave us the run down of all the features while ensuring we got back in time for us to head out. Like many other Lexus owners, we were looking to transition from am average economy car to a luxury vehicle. You drive up to the dealership and you're greeted by a valet attendant, they take care of your car (with a hand wash included) and send you over to the customer service manager awaiting you at the entrance door. You are then escorted to a room full of drinks, food, other lexus purchasers, but best of all, you are joined by the entire lexus team... the ones you see all the time on the showroom but especially ones you don't always see because they're in the mechanics and technology department. If one could give negative stars, I would. Leased a vehicle through the dealership and returned another leased Lexus to them. All at the dealership advised me that they would inform Lexus of the return and I would owe nothing as the car was returned in excellent shape. Well guess what, they did not inform Lexus. Lexus billed me for the continuation of lease. Since 45 days had gone by, they reported 2 late payments to the credit bureaus. When I contacted Lexus of Silver Spring, I was given the run around at first. Finally, they agreed they did not inform Lexus. The GM, Michael Highan, advised that he will take care of it personally. There would be no charges to me. He will speak to the Lexus District Manager, etc. Guess what, all lies. Once they informed Lexus, Lexus could not close the file as they did not submit the all the paperwork for return. 3 weeks later we see that the credit has been effected, call Mr. Higham. He says, sorry, but its Lexus fault. Lexus credit call and they advise they can only close once dealership advises them. Now I have late charges for 2 months, disposition fee, damage to car charges added to lease payments bill from Lexus. Mr. Higham, says " I am sorry for this, Lexus financial will take care of the payment issues" I advised him of the cost I will incur due to bad credit, his response "That's your issue, you will have to handle together with Lexus Financial. If it takes 45 to 60 days, live with it. Its your personal issue. I am done". For all the wrong, they just wipe their hands clean. If the customer looses because of their mistakes, its the CUSTOMERS PROBLEM. I was advised to call Darcars Corporate. They said they will investigate. Their investigation is -- we spoke to the dealership and they advised Lexus Financial is addressing the issue. That's it. Their CORPORATE LEADERSHIP will not come to the phone or meet to discuss the damages done to the customer. NEVER GO TO DARCARS. Never get a car from DARCARS. read more

It's been a long time dream to have my first luxury car and I am amazed at the difference in service from one to the other. I finally made the switch and I couldn't have been happier! I worked with Michael on getting my NX, I came on a Sunday probably 2 hours before closing with my hubby and 2 year old in towed. He was really good and even offer my son candy which he was super happy about ( of course we didn't let him have the whole thing) Michael made the process painless, he knew I didn't have all the time in the world with a 2 year old so thank you for understanding! Fast forward to today; Lexus invited us for a new owner event and I wasn't expecting much but we were greeted at the door (felt like we were attending a super special event) They valet parked and even washed the car for us while we enjoyed champagne and hor'derves and gave us some informational information on our cars! I bought and paid cash for a 2016 Mercedes Benz gle 63 amg. I bought the vehicle on 5/19/20 and the sales rep or any representative of the dealership never mentioned the vehicle didn't have a title even though I made it clear that the vehicle was been exported out of the country. After paying for the vehicle the dealership told me oh we don't have the title and we can't refund you the money. I have tried to reach the General manager for the past month leaving messages on his phone everyday( literally every day couple times a day for weeks and he still hasn't returned my call. They have just flat out ignored me for the past month with no time frame for when the title is going to be ready. I have the vehicle in the shipping company storage for 2 months now and they have been charging me storage fees for 6 weeks now... I finally had my first experience with the service center at this dealership. It was fairly easy to make an appointment, and even for minor maintenance on my car, they offered to allow me to drop it off and get a courtesy car for the night. Which I have heard from other Lexus owners that some dealerships in VA are requiring them to either pay $40 or at least have a certain amount due in service in order to get a courtesy car. Additionally, they are charged for gas if not filled up upon return. I declined the courtesy car because I had a tight schedule and would not be able to make the 6:30 PM courtesy car pick up time. I ended up going with an appointment in where I would wait for the service to be done. My appointment was made for a couple days after, and upon arrival I was immediately taken care of. Within 10 minutes of being there, maybe even less the person assisting me with my car sat me down and let me know about a recall that my car had run into. Although minor, it needed to be taken care of. So I ended up leaving with a courtesy car anyway, and leaving my car in overnight. I did not need to fill the car fuel back up. And although my courtesy car didn't have GPS, I survived ;) I got the call that my car was ready the following morning. My car had a courtesy clean and wash, and best of all. My fuel was topped off. I was in and out, and they sent me home with a fresh bottle of water. They are always so prompt, polite and accommodating. I just have never been so pleased with a dealership as a whole, the sales team and the service team impresses me each time. Hopefully this review won't jinx it. But they are really great to work with, and make your experience a breeze. read more

I believe his name was Adman. He helped me with replacing my key and was very nice and explained the whole process for me. This dealer was spectacular. I don't leave reviews very often but the experience was so good that I felt I needed to. Our salesperson was amazing. No pressure and took the time to make sure we understood all the features that were offered. I have no idea what happened in the negative reviews because there was not much haggling and their offer right out of the gate was better than TrueCar by a good margin. I wanted to put my reviews about the Lexus of Silver Spring Dealership on here, to give anyone who is thinking of buying a car an insight as to what occurs and how a customer is treated while looking for a car. As I will be talking from personal experience, I will let you know in advance, that I speak for the side of Pre-Owned Cars. My tour of looking for a Pre-Owned IS 300 started by contacting a sales agent by the name of Waquar Bhatti. Seeing as he "helped" get us a car in 2015, we thought we would give him another shot, even though we were not impressed with his services before. It started with when we found two cars that we liked and gave him a call to come in and check out the vehicles and take them on a test drive. We started off again, on the wrong foot, as he did not call to confirm the appointment nor ask if we were still coming in later that day. Once we came in and test drove the car, we were satisfied with the car. Next, we came to speak about price. When talking about the price, he told us to come back the next morning as it was too late, and he could not speak to his manager, Mr. Chris Lee, directly about negotiating a price that would work best for both sides. He said to come back by 10 am, and that he would have a price ready for us to look at, and he said he knew exactly what we were looking for. Knowing the man, we said okay and showed up 10 am sharp the next day. When we came in, Waquar was on the phone, and nodded to have us take a seat and wait for him to be finished. Once he was done, he invited us to his table and told us to take out our driver's license. When we asked why the rush, he said, "Sorry, nothing can be done on the price, lets just start the paperwork for the given price." As me and my son looked at each other's faces in awe, we were shaken by the disrespect received from Waquar. Instead of calling us and not having us waste our time taking a trip down to the dealership, he made us come there in person to tell us the deal would not be happening. On top of that, Mr. Chris Lee, who is now the Pre-Owned sales manager, told us that Waquar never even went to him with a price negotiation to help us out, and was lying the whole time. Being apart of the Asian community, seeing one of your own out in the open, makes you want to give them a shot at your business and help them out, but I urge our Asian community and ANYONE in general to NOT work with Waquar Bhatti. He will not give his 100% efforts and sadly, seems to care more about taking phone calls than selling cars. Luckily, Mr. Hashmat Abbasi was someone we knew from the New Cars side, and he saved the sale from happening and helped tremendously. Mr. Hashmat Abbasi was respectful, promised to deliver better service and helped from A-Z during one of the busiest times of the year, kudos to him! If it were not for him, Lexus of Silver Spring, who we have bought from, the last 20years, would have lost a very loyal customer. read more

I went to several other Lexus dealerships (in Alexandria and Rockville) before going to Darcars in Silver Spring. The sales people at the other places were not great - they were manipulative, pushy, disingenuous, and rude at times. Then I went here and met Sam Kim - Sam is the best! He's incredibly nice, kind, and genuine. He was very knowledgeable about the various models I looked at and helped me figure out what features would be important for me. He was never pushy, just helpful. I felt like he tried to get me the best price too. Sam really made the process as stress-free as possible and I felt taken care of. I hate the act of buying cars but I would do it again in a heart beat if I knew Sam was the person I'd be working with. Will definitely be referring friends and coworkers to him. Thanks, Sam! Oh, I forgot to mention that on the financing side and assistance side, we met with Nora and she was wonderful! At that point, we had been there for 6+ hours and I was already under the weather and getting hangry and inpatient, but Nora was so nice, polite, and professional, and she really tried to make the process as painless as possible. Then I met with Francisco and he showed me how my new car worked. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and patient while explaining and reexplaining the features and answering my questions. He is always very personable and provides great follow-up and honesty on the status of my car. I have worked with other Service Advisors at this location, but AG tops them all.
