Great location, excellent customer service...food so-so...we had a large party with a Bill way over two hundred dollars...waiter wasn't the best...took our orders individually instead of all at once. Asked for medium rare...got well done. Didn't sent back, cause as my sister stated..."it was Dave&Busters not a five star steak house" lol! All the servers, waiter and waitress were more tentative than our waiter...who I know received a generous tip...that maybe wasn't well deserved. The buildings fire alarm went off... we had to evacuate the building for about 30 minutes... Dave & Buster's did not compensate customers or apologize as we re-entered the game room...where all the top managers were standing...they looked more annoyed and hating there job at that very moment than worried about customers lol! A younger; I'm assuming floor supervisor, can't for the life of me remember his name...tall, in his early twenties light skin...hair pulled back... was very accommodating to our group of kids with a free ride and apologize. Over all, it was a nice Dave&Busters and a great location at the Rio. I've been here 3 times (2 times on Thursday night and once on Wednesday night) and the experience can definitely be a hit or miss. The first time was on a Thursday night and both my friend and I ordered the all you can eat wing deal along a grilled cheese. The wings were decent but the grilled cheese and fries were cold by the time it arrived. Service was slow too. The second time was also on a Thursday night and again my friend and I ordered the all you can eat wings. The service was much better and the wings were again decent. The third time was was on a Wednesday for Game 2 of the World Series and was the worst experience by far. The multiple TV screens and volume of the game was immersive and alleviated the terrible service. If not for the game, I would've been angry enough to call a manager over. The server, Collins, was slow and clueless about the menu. I was first seated with my my child promptly by the hostess. I then waited over 10 minutes without service. When I was finally able to order, I asked him if there were any drink specials. He replied flatly, "No". He neglected to inform me happy hour started at 10 PM. I asked him which drinks had free refill and he stated, "None". I had to point out fountain drinks before acknowledged those had free refills. I started out with pretzel dogs and a fountain lemonade for my kid. My friend joined me shortly after and he ordered the bacon burger. I ordered the Ancho Caesar Grilled Chicken Lettuce Wraps and when, I asked the server how big was it, he replied it was as big as I saw it on the menu. When I asked if it was not spicy, he replied the ingredients are whats on the menu. I specifically pointed out to him the Ancho Chile Caesar dressing and said I don't know if thats spicy or not. The server replied, "I don't know, I guess not." The server also forgot to bring the lemonade and I had to remind him. After the pretzel dog came but before the lettuce wrap and burger arrived, the server checked on us but it would be well into our meal after everything arrived that the server checked on us again. When I needed a refill after all our drinks were almost entirely consumed, I had to flag down another server to ask him to call our server over. It took the server a long time to bring out the refill. The food was average at best and only slightly better than Miller Ale House. read more

We went to this Dave and Busters for the second time last night and we really like that location. It is smaller then the one in Arundel Mills which means they don't have as many games as Arundel which is ehh. There are more adults then kids that go to that location and it's easy to move around because of the fact it's not so crowded. They have this deal where you can trade in your tickets for a free appetizer. Either choice of one regular appetizer or deluxe appetizer or an entree (I believe - can't remember the third choice). We got one regular appetizer because the guy working there suggested we save our tickets and those choices are better then the other choices and we are glad we did that because the chicken quesadilla we chose was delicious for a free appetizer! I do recommend this location if you want something fun to do without a lot of people around. read more

We are over 5 follow ups with corporate later, no response, no refund. Food I ordered the parmesan Chicken and extra Alfredo sauce that comes on the noodles, just in case they were dry. Needless to say, I didn't get the extra parmesan and the noodles were drier than the Sahara desert. I asked for the Alfredo sauce 3 times and got the marinara sauce instead. So I asked again and the waiter asked the person at the table with me to hand me a menu from the table behind me so that I can see that it says Marinara sauce. WRONG it says Alfredo sauce. Everyone has received and finished their food and are ready to go play the games. SO I was forced to go without eating as their was no time to wait for them to place another order, prepare it and I eat because everyone will be ready to go by then. this sucks!!!!!!! Went in with my family around 3pm. We used an online promotion to reload our play cards. The girl at front desk acted like a child saying " I'm not going to redeem any more of these today" DONT have promotions if you're gonna cry it's too much work. We ordered food not even a lot we waited 15 mins for four sodas and 35 mins for two entrees. Not even past 4 tables of people entire place. Iced tea tasted old and sour they replaced it anything else tasted better. The server I did not see till I was asking who I pay cause I was done 10 mins not one time were we checked on or had an empty plates moved off the table. The lady who had a tantrum like a little baby was on her iPhone txting after I had to have a manager redeem my credits pathetic. Never again I tried to give a second chance 2 for 2 screw ups. AVOID McDonalds if a step up in service. Tips are earned through Good service not charity. Maybe train your staff to be professional definitely not returning huge disappointment. read more

I just went tonight with a group of guys to watch the Ravens playoff game. We ordered some food and drinks and one of the guys burger and beer came right out. I was still waiting and another friend came and ordered a beer and it came right out. I asked the guy who brought it to the table to check on mine but he never came back. I asked the waitress several times and finally after 20 minutes I received my beer. My buddy was already done with his burger and everyone at the table was asking me what happened to your order so I asked the waitress when she came back around and it seems like she was clueless. Finally I tracked down a manager who told me that they were really busy, but at this point I already waited about 1 hour for one burger and fries. He brought it out to the table but the order was wrong, but I didn't feel like complaining further so I ate it. The manager never apologized nor offered anything I'm not out looking for a free meal, but a simple sorry would have been nice. Finally when the bill came they screwed it up as well. I won't be going back and I would advise anyone else to think twice about D&B there are plenty of other esatblishments in the area that know about customer service. read more

I've always liked the idea of Dave and Buster's but many of my visits to other locations haven't been the best experience. Often the place is overcrowded and sometimes the cleanliness isn't where it needs to be. This new Dave and Buster's is completely the opposite. Huge space, clean, shiny, brand spanking new. Two bars / restaurant areas. Extremely friendly servers and staff. Great value. This new Dave and Buster's is at a great location, right by lake Rio. It's above/ next to the movie theaters, I believe the space used to be the old Sport and Health. The only tricky part is parking. There's really no good way to approach parking in the evening. I've heard the parking lot above Guapo's might be better than the one across from Nando's. I'll let you guys know next time because I definitely plan on coming back. Tonight was opening night and usually the first night is a train wreck. They crushed it tonight though. Great execution. I felt the hospitality. The food is decent for what is is, can't set the bar too high, it's not gourmet: had sliders, some chips and queso, jalapeño poppers, pigs in a blanket and a variety of desserts. The food was delicious and the happy hour specials were great. Our service at the bar was a little slow, but it was a Friday night so we didn't mind. I was looking forward to checking out the new Dave&Busters, and having a fun pre-movie meal and some fun playing games. I was quickly reminded what killed the old D&B's at White Flint. Here are some tips on what to do if you find yourself here. 1. Leave. Simple. Go eat somewhere else. If you're going to see a movie, go eat there. The food there is at least good. 2. If you can't leave, and are forced to eat here, don't listen to your server. They're incentivized to steer you to blowing more money on crappier food and power card scams. Don't expect the food to look like the pictures. 3. Food and drinks take way too long. Don't order anything special. They'll mess it up. 4. Don't get the unlimited card deal. It nets out to $15-20 extra for just the blue card swipe games, of which there aren't many. Good luck fighting your way into one to play. Or any game for that matter. Kids are rough, and rude and don't take turns. 5. Go to Target, buy a console, and a game. It's cheaper and more fun. 6. Service at the bar was terrible, and also took forever. I truly had a horrible time. When we first entered, I asked where we can sit for dinner. They directed us to the bar area and had us have dinner there. The bar area where we were surrounded by a lot of college aged customers, in the middle of all the game area, horribly loud due to the video games surrounding us, the TV's, and the young crowd having a good time. I didn't mention that I went with my husband, mother, and 5 year old child. We couldn't even hear ourselves talking. Our food took a while and the food didn't even look like what the menu pictured it to look like. The portion size was substantially smaller, the who presentation was a complete lie. And it wasn't any good. It wasn't bad but it didn't taste good enough for me to want to come back. Then as we walked around, the all you can play option is also bogus, it's all you can play on only one type of games. Which eliminates 2/3rds of the possible games available. So you're walking around in circles looking for the special kind of game you are able to play and sometimes waiting in line because obviously other people are already playing them. So that's crap. Then as we are walking around towards the back of the place, we notice ANOTHER food area. A more quite family friendly area. Why the hell would they have my family be seated with a bunch of loud young people drinking alcohol when they have a perfectly nice family area in the back. Either they didn't care or just are not trained properly to offer people choices on where they could sit and dine. So we play some games and then go for our prizes, well that was a joke as well. The prizes are not well stocked and only had 2 people working the cash register so it took 20 minutes in line to get a stupid candy because my 5 year old had her heart set on a prize. They had 4 prize registers and huge lines but they didn't think it was necessary to open the other two. I will not be returning. read more

I would have to say the staff have been really nice and friendly the bar manager Kris was extremely nice and helpful as i order a drink and didn't really like it she was able to customize it and make it taste 10 times better. This was my second time back at this brand new D&B after attending the soft opening a few weeks back. The soft opening was a hell of a good time with over-the-top friendly service, as expected at a soft opening. The location is convenient and on Rio Lakefront, which is a very nice area to spend an evening. Make sure you park above Guapo's as there will always be more space and there is an entrance right out of that garage! A group of us were coming from a double date at a restaurant down the street to join friends for a birthday gathering: GAME ON!! The girl at the front running the power card desk didn't look thrilled to be there, but started to smile when she realized we were harmless children in our 30s and started pal'ing around. Always felt places like this should be 18+ after a certain hour in the evening, but what the hell do I know? Don't LOVE the fact that I might hear a screaming child but that's the world we live in. Once we got the power cards, it was DIY from there. Run around and let loose. This is not my ideal place for fun but we made the most of it. I beat my date in most games we played, all two out of three just to eliminate the fluke factor. She was a good sport about taking the L and we laughed all evening. Wait staff was in abundance on the floor, offering drinks throughout the evening. No entire game was out of order, but a couple games had one part that may have been OOO. All in all this new D&B seems to be crushing it and should continue to do so in this location. read more

I came on a Thurday night, it was pretty crowded and to my own mistake I left my PowerCard unattended on a game for a couple of minutes. It unfortunately got swiped by someone else and I lost all the tickets I had accrued on it. Not only was the manager on duty Kevin incredibly accommodating, he gave me a card on the house with a hefty amount of credits to make up for my loss. This kind of customer service should be highly praised. Most people would have brushed it off but he made sure that my experience at DnB was a pleasant and enjoyable one.
