Tito's shaker but really Grey Goose - Lemon Drop Martinis!

Can I tell you how happy I am this wonderful restaurant literally rose from the ashes?! They had a accident that set them back for a period of time but they haven't skipped a beat upon their return as a well-established fixture here in town. Ownership here really show their labor-of-love in every aspect. And Bill is a true gentleman who'll naturally make you feel at home at Davia's. And of course, the food - both the variety on the menu and the specials - always inventive and delicious! I joined my wife and friends later in the evening and crashed their party with a quick cocktail and some dessert, but all around the table, not surprisingly, everyone loved their short rib pappardelle special and seafood dishes that evening. Bill walked over a nice Whiskey sour to help me celebrate the Giants' wild card win (watch out Eagles! ) and it was as if I were there throughout the dinner. So welcoming! Looking forward to many more memories here! Keep doing what you're doing Davia!

This should really be a 3.5 Star review ( but I'll round up for the great service by our waiter Bill). Actually I was expecting a little more out of the experience especially since I know people who have high regards for Davia. I will note that it was closed for a small time due to a fire and that hurts a business in many ways and can take years to fully recover. Service all around was friendly. Food fairly priced. A few standouts. But this Phoenix has a but more to go to fully rise form the ashes. Bar area is approx 14 stools and seemed to be an older, more local crowd. ( it was a Wednesday). bartender seemed a bit shaky and booze, beer, and wine selections were a bit sparse. No vermouth to make me a martini, really? How's that happen ? But we come for... THE FOOD... The Shrimp & Artichoke Mustarde ( app) with a tarragon-Dijon brandy sauce was VERY good. Smaller size in portion but plenty of flavor. However the fried calamari fell flat. 99.5% sure they were frozen. The Entree menu had a nice variety of Italian dishes as well as some continental classics like Beef wellington and rack of lamb. I had the Veal Pontevecchio: medallions of veal with shrimp, spinach, sun-dried tomato in a brandy cream sauce which was very good. Another entree tried was the Chicken Due Volte which is a fried chicken cutlet, with eggplant, sausage, fresh mozzarella in a pink sauce. Sounds amazing, but was just very good. I would try this again and still recommend it. There are some home made dessert offerings. Parking lot in rear.

From start to finish amazing is all I can say! Bill was our waiter and he was warm and friendly . Made great recommendations , not that you can go wrong with anything here! We started with mussels which were cooked with white wine, hot peppers and plum tomatoes. To die for! Then we each had a salad and for our main course it was penne with vodka sauce and seafood risotto. Both were perfect. We thought we were too full for dessert but once we heard that there was a pistachio regatta cheesecake we had to try it. An absolutely amazing dessert so light we didn't feel guilty at all.! This is somewhere to definitely come back to!

Veal with shrimp spinach and crab meat in a white wine cream sauce. OMG !!!

Outstanding. The menu is wide and varied and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. Perfect. I can't wait to go back. So glad I found this spot. Wow.

I wasn't expecting the food to be as good or as diverse as it was, but it was a truly great experience. My friend and I stopped in here before a meeting, and I have to admit that at first we were put off because even though we're in our 50s, we were the youngest people there. Then we realized that the other clientele were all there for the early bird specials, haha. I ordered the potato encrusted grouper from the specials, and it was really on point. Loved the blend of flavors! My friend ordered Tre Fungi in a sage butter cream sauce, and declared that it was to die for. We couldn't have been happier with our choices. He had red wine, I didn't partake because of my upcoming meeting. After dinner we had coffee and eschewed dessert. The hostess brought us little Italian almond cookies anyway, and I have to admit they were excellent. We'll definitely be revisiting this place!

OUTSTANDING!!! If…read moreyou like authentic Italian food and not the sauce heavy oil laden foods most local places make then try this place!!! We grabbed a table on a Saturday night we were immediately impressed by the amazing smells upon entering . I spent my summers in Italy growing up and this place took me back . Our wonderful waitress and over and left some bread and oil while we looked at the menu. We agreed upon the califlower as an app . Hubby had the eggplant parm and I did the pasta with shrimp and broccoli . We also got a side of broccoli rabe, the meals also came with a nice side salad . The portions are a realistic smaller size and delicious. Unbelievably so! Fresh and great quality olive oil is used you can taste the difference. We were going to splurge and get dessert but they only had chocolate cake or ice cream so we declined . It is a byob. We honestly already said we will be going again next week! Please do yourself a favor and visit!

The service was lovely--our waiter was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the fried artichoke hearts (a must!), burrata, calamari, mozzarella sticks, and the zucchini and eggplant chips--LORDY, those were insanely good. Every appetizer was better than the last. The main dishes were just as impressive. The chicken parm was crispy and flavorful, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the sole francese was delicate and delicious. We were passing plates around the table because no one could decide which dish was their favorite! It's BYOB, which made it feel even more relaxed and special. Total hidden gem--we'll definitely be back!!!!

The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

Anything you want they are happy to make it happen. BYOB a nice plus. Food review.... Comp bread with garlic eggplant spread. Gotta love garlic for this one. Great italian bread with an amazing olive oil for dipping. Olive oil is nicely spiced and includes a shaved cheese. Fried calamari was perfectly done. They offer mild or spicy marinara and we were able to get both for the table. Yummy! Great marinara!! Complimentary salad is a nice plus especially these days. Huge serving. Classic salad ingredients except topped with minced italian meats and cheese. A light italian dressing. De-lious. Chicken parm entree was thinly sliced and perfectly fried, lots of cheese in a wonderful marinara sauce, side of pasta included. Pork braciole over homemade gnocchi was amazing. Pork was fork tender and expertly stuffed and seasoned. Gnocchi were soft and fluffy. Another huge portion. I had it for 3 meals. Crispy salmon over mushroom risotto was perfection. Salmon was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Risotto was beautiful made with lots of mushrooms. So creamy! Just a bit too much finishing olive oil for our taste. Cappuccino was delicious with a big whipped cream top. Tartufo ice cream is traditional and delicious. A wonderful restaurant.
