Came here for the first time on Halloween day and it was absolutely delicious!! We got the Thai California and California Deluxe Dawg with cheese fries on the side. Thai California was my favorite and my friend liked the Californian Deluxe more, but both were delicious! Very flavorful, and the bread was so good as well! And the fries!! Was craving cheese fries and it just hit the spot! Told all my friends about it and they also visited the place and tried different things on the menu. My friend told me to stay away from the BBQ dog (she got it and barely ate it because she didn't like it). But they also got the pumpkin spice shake (spiked with alcohol) which they said was really good and if you are a fan of Thai tea, they says the Thai tea shake was also really good! So keeping that in mind, I'll be back to try more things on the menu! One thing to note, currently with covid, we are not allowed to eat inside, but there are some tables outside. Once we can eat inside again I think this place would be such a good hangout place with friends. The interior is really cute and reminds me of trendy restaurants in LA, and also they have some fun interactive games you can play. Opening a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic must be tough but I think we def need more of these trendy food spots in this area~! read more

I had a grilled chicken sandwich with ranch & sweet potato fries 8/10 very delicious! Thai tea shake just tastes like a vanilla shake, still good. Mom & brother got a Chili Cheese Dawg no onions & a curry dog no complaints around the table. Also shared the Cookie Monster shake & liked it. Beware your mouth will be blue! Ha-ha Although pricey you definitely get a good amount of food! Really wanted a place that was dog friendly so we can spend time with our pups & we found it! I was really excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews. I have kids too & my oldest was excited to come here. The restaurant itself is nice, "Instagram aesthetic" as my daughter would say. Lol. The food and service were the problem. Upon going inside, I asked the manager what he recommends to try as it's my first time eating there. He recommends the "crazy curry chicken" so I order it. I spend $35 for two people. Upon trying the sandwich, I nearly gagged. I couldn't stand the smell... the sandwich itself was a mess. The sauce on the chicken was just....off... I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me who felt this way so I had my family members try the sandwich and if they liked it they would have been willing to switch. No one liked it. I went to the manager and told him... "I literally never do this but is there ANY way that I could get something else" and I apologized but explained I literally just couldn't fathom the sandwich at all. He told me no because there is nothing wrong with it but I could order something else and pay. Now, I had just spent $35 & this is my first time here. So I said it's fine, I'll just eat the fries for dinner & gave the sandwich to him. I was really upset that he wasn't willing to offer a simple cheeseburger or something to satisfy a new customer. After awhile, I think he felt bad so he offered me something else. I explained to him that I was upset about his initial reaction because it felt like he didn't care whether I liked it or not & didn't care to have a customer come back or not in the future. He offered to make me a cheeseburger to go and I accepted. I said medium well for the cheeseburger and was excited to finally eat something. Great new addition to the glen! It's the perfect place to stop with friends for some hot dogs and milkshakes or for dessert after eating somewhere else. I really enjoyed the ambiance; dogs were allowed inside, and they had hanging swing chairs that hold a lot of weight! My friend loved his milkshake and all of the tasty toppings that came on it. I enjoyed getting an order of mini bagel dogs, but they tasted like they were heated up from a freezer, and even a little burnt. I would like to come back and try some of the fun looking hot dogs on the menu. They also have very fun looking alcoholic beverages. read more

Very rude people. Walked in with a couple of friends and immediately got dirty looks from all the workers like im doing something bad. Bathrooms are very dirty and not that spacious. After waiting a long time for fries we finally got them. As my friend asked for a water cup she filled it up with water and sat down. A family of 5 or 6 walked up with the exact same water cups but filled it up with coke, tea etc the worker proceeds to give the family a warm smile. My friend goes up and fills the tiny cup half way with tea and the man goes "No no no you need to pay, you're stealing" confused we walk up and began to pay but when we question why the other family did it he responed with "Dont copy" Food is mediocre at best and food takes a very very long time. I got a chili cheeseburger. It tasted terrible. I felt like I was eating charcoal in a mushy prison with store bought chili, I couldn't taste the cheese, the onion wasn't a sweet onion, it was some breed of overly-pungent white onion that I wouldn't wish upon anyone, let alone myself. The lettuce and tomatoes basically didn't exist, and the only saving grace of the fries was that they tasted like they had cajun, which I like, but I felt like I had any more than the generous helping they gave me I was gonna throw up. I ate all the fries-with help from the ketchup-but I couldn't get three bites into the burger before I gave up. I remember the burgers I had at my high school, and this was worse than that. $15 on something I barely ate. Great trade. That being said, the service was great. We came in after multiple people ordered, and though we waited a bit, the server was great and cracked jokes. The decorations were good and all. My sister had the ninja dog and said it was the best hot dog she ever had. My little one had the cookie shake and he was obsessed with it. My husband had the curry burger and he said it was delicious: good Thai curry flavor. The fried pickles were tasty too: they aren't the usual pickle chips but slices served with a spicy sauce. A lot of reviews said the shakes took too long, ours came out quick. I mean, come on, if you see how beautiful and elaborate they are, you should have some patience, this isn't McDonald's. The staff was incredibly patient with us as I settled my sister's very vocal Corgi/Shepherd and my own noisy Chihuahua/Pittie at one of the tables. The menu has so many appetizing options. My friend and I finally settled on the California BLTA Deluxe Burger and the Crazy Curry Chicken Bowl on Rice. The ambiance is so fun and welcoming. The Astroturf and Cobblestone "walkways" are so cute, and it seems like it would be a great place to take kids as well with their giant board games. Best part is, the dogs can get a meal too! You can get a bowl of Beef or Chicken on rice! Obviously we got both and the pups split them half and half lol. I'd say price wise it's $15-20 a person, but it is SO worth it!! Eating here right now. Where have you been my whole life. This place is awesome. A little expensive but all places are now. Blame inflation and the president not the ff places. The burger was only 1/3 pound but it was awesome. And the fries are way better than mcdonalds. And they have grilled chicken too if you prefer less grease or white meat. And they have plain options for veggie haters like me. Plain burger or chicken sandwich and then you add avacado or bacon or whatever. I was craving burgers so I ordered classic burger with fries. Price is decent. The ambiance here is nice and clean given that dogs are allowed inside. The fries were fine, not the best but it was fresh. I prefer crispier fries. Ultimately I was very disappointed with the burger as it was extremely charred to the point that it tasted burnt and I ordered medium--there was a good pink don't get me wrong but it was just overpowered by burnt taste and I hope those who eat here often consider the amount of carcinogens they put in their body. If I were to return I would recommend don't get the burger- the lemongrass chicken sounds interesting but if it is charred like the beef I don't think I would be a fan of that either. read more

AMAZING! I was in town from Las Vegas and my friend took me here for lunch. I got the Thai California dog and it was the best hotdog I have ever had. Yesterday, Sunday at 2 pm, we decided to try Dawg Park for the first time. It was also our first time eating inside a restaurant since the start of the pandemic. We were excited to try something new as well as be indoors without a mask (after ordering). My husband and I both ordered a Muddy Deluxe burger and sweet potato fries. We were asked if we wanted a Red Bull or beer to drink since their soda machine was down. They were waiting for someone to come and fix it. At this point, we said we'd have water. We paid for our order and then asked where we could get the water from. The order taker/cashier seemed like it was his first day working. I understand how hard it is for restaurants to find employees so it wasn't a big deal. The cashier then asked a guy who I assumed was the manager where to get water. He said there wasn't any since it came through the soda machine. Neither the cashier OR the manager apologized. Not an "I'm sorry" or "Oh no, you won't have anything at all to drink with your meal!". We sat down and waited for our food to be brought out. Everyone else in the restaurant had a drink. I'm not kidding. The soda machine must've JUST gone down as we entered the place. Our food comes--my 'medium' burger comes out a minute or two before my husband's 'medium rare' which is odd?? The food is very good. It coms in a dog bowl which is cute as well. The only fault I have with the food is that they should spend an extra 10 cents a person for heavier paper that the burger comes wrapped in. The burger we got has lots of brown gravy which was delicious but the very thin paper was drenched and disintegrating immediately. I am saying this to be helpful, not as a criticism. As we got our food, I saw other customers come in. One group ordered shakes. The next group had canned soda and glasses with ice! I wish we would have been told they had that. Instead, we were told there was NO SODA and NO WATER. If there had been a sign on the door or by the cash register that we could have seen before ordering, we might've said we'd come back another time instead of having NOTHING TO DRINK. Instead, we weren't told until after we'd paid. I feel like the employees and manager didn't care. If I had a restaurant, I would have ran next door or to a nearby store to get either bottled water or soda and just given it to customers with an apology. The customer service all around was poor. No one came to the table to ask if everything was ok. Maybe they don't need to do that normally but if you have nothing to drink, you may choke. We didn't make an issue of it at all but the longer I sat there, the madder I got. I am not high maintenance. If someone had apologized profusely, I would've been like, "That's ok, things happen." Instead I felt like we were treated less than everyone else. So let's say the manager "found" canned sodas in the back that he started offering after us. He should've come up and asked if we wanted one. It's a shame that we won't be back. If they consistently treat people so poorly, I don't see them being around long term. They are in an area of Glenview just filled with restaurants up and down the street. There are plenty of other choices. read more

Second time we have been here and both times the website, menu and what we have been charged were all different (what we were charged was the highest). Really flirting with the bait and switch fraud laws. The bathrooms have consistently been out of order and filthy. The staff also do not seem to care about service and have an attitude if you ask question, even ones like what would you recommend between X and Y? The food isn't bad, it's actually pretty good - when they get it right. I've gotten different bowls each time and they have been missing ingredients listed in the description each time. The people eating next to us also had to ask for things not included with their food but listed as a part of their meal. My kids think it's a funny place to go and love the milkshakes so we'll be back but keep expectations low. read more

Got a Ninja Dawg it was okay nothing to write home about super overpriced! For a battered and fried hotdog it's wasn't hot came out Luke warm. Plus the cold toppings a sauces made it even colder it was weird and they went way over board with the sauces way to much! and forgot important part the bacon! I did like the lobster roll bun that was different. The services was super slow and annoying there was only one person in front of me ordering. The staff looked very flustered for some reason it took 20 minutes just to put in my order. Love the decor and the graphic design was on point that was cool. Amazing food, we received in a timely manner and it came out fresh and hot. I ordered a medium rare burger and it came out just how I asked. Fries are nice and crispy and seasoned to perfection as well. The service was great I had a great experience with the staff they were nice and helped walk us through the menu. Did you know? This used to be the old Moo Ya, but now refreshed with a more hip menu and cool decor. I picked up my order and took it home as I have little ones. I ended up getting the thai hot dog, the lemongrass chicken rice bowl and the chicken curry burger. Upon first bite, I can say that there are some really good flavors. This is no longer just a plain burger and hot dog place and every thing I tried, I felt like it was very unique and tasted very good. I also can say that I typically don't like fusion but this place was really good. They also spent a good amount of time packing up my food, making sure it's well placed and not going to spill out. The thai hot dog was probably my favorite but it is spicy (so not good for kids). The next favorite was the chicken curry burger but I think I'll retry it over rice. It's just a bit messy to hold for me and feel like it would have done better with the sauce soaking into rice. They also offer potatoes. The fries are also amazing. I just got plain and they were great. Overall, really happy to see a good local place opened up, where I can support my local businesses. I'll be back to try some other items on the menu. read more

The only thing negative is they serve Chicago dogs on a New England bun. Not a sesame seed bun. Other that that, no problems.
