This joint takes the canine theme to the max, a big hit with my dog-aficionado daughter. There are lots of good options on the menu besides sausages: burgers, bowls, other types of sandwiches. Sides are a thumbs up--regular fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, fried pickle spears, all very good. The dogs are great; my favorite is California Thai. Plus they have Coke Zero in the fountain machine. I question the decision to show Animal House on the TV during weekday lunch hour (in summer when kids are around), but otherwise I have no complaints. The next time we came it was a pumpkin-carving competition show--much better! Service is always sunny, and the place is just all-around enjoyable. read more

I thought the decorations inside were super clever to mimic a dog park effect with the fake grass inside. I can appreciate dog friendly restaurants, and the staff here were super accommodating and kind. They have some dog friendly food on the menu, and my dogs very much enjoyed the chicken and rice they offered. My burger I got was okay, standard burger. I got a ninja burger, and the burger was tempura fried. It was kind of messy, but still pretty tasty. I thought it was funny that they served the food in dog bowls. The shakes are also quite delicious! A fun niche place if you want to bring your pooch for a night out. read more

Came here for a quick lunch and was easy in and out! They had a good range of food options. I ended up ratting the Chicago style polish meal and enjoyed it! Their prices are pretty reasonable. Lol the decor literally looks like a doggie park which was fine but I guess I wasn't expecting the dog bowl lol that my food came out in...honestly it threw me off a little bit but lol just wanted to get a quick meal and head back to my training I was attending in the area. read more

Hot dogs were yum and portions were dece. I enjoyed the Thai influence and overall a nice place to grab gourmet hot dogs in the burbs. On top of that the dog park theme is so cute with the dog bowls. I think it is also pet friendly. read more

I don't know if i can say this is my go to burger spot but I do like it a lot. Their basic burger isn't anything special in my opinion. It's fine but their unique burgers are really where they shine. I tried the tempura battered burger it was delicious and the teriyaki burger was great too. They're out there to go to whenever I'm craving a burger but it's a fun place to go with your friends. read more

Things you know but different. Nice take on poutine (muddy fries). I took it to go, but I think it would be better in house. The spilt top bun is not my favorite but it does a great job holding together the dawg. The hot dawg is a nice size and the tempura adds an interesting texture to the skin that still has a bite. Presentation is wonderful, but I would suggest flipping the dawg over to get the good stuff in between the dawg and bun. It is a mess but it was good. read more

The ambiance is super cute and an amazing place to bring your pups. They are super kind and even have two dog options ( unseasoned chicken and rice or unseasoned beef and rice ) the bowl is quite small if you have a big dog or a dog that usually eats at least a cup of food. When it comes to the human food, it was not the best (muddy fries and pirogies). You could tell the food was frozen food just fried. Except the shakes !! AMAZING!!! Considering this is a hamburger/hot dog joint, they really have Lots on the menu to choose from. I wouldn't say anything I had was out of this world. I got the veggie hotdog which was actually more like a sausage so that was a disappointment. My daughter got the hamburger. She said it was fine. She also got the cookie shake which no doubt was more than one person could drink. The service was great but overall for a 12 yo and an adult to eat with a tip we spent $50! Yes that's a veggie dog, fries, drink, hamburger, fries and a shake!...$50!! Great atmosphere but that price tag... was more than I expected. read more

Saw this dog friendly place online and decided to take a 20-minute ride with my husky to give it a try. Friday at 2:00 pm. spacious and clean. colorful, decorative (dog-themed) mural, some kid toys, and a couple of screen tvs. Mostly, my dog could come inside with me! (this will be a big bonus in the winter). I ordered a veggie bbq burger, fries, drink. And, a chicken and rice dish for my dog. The burger was substantial (and, a bit messy!) and tasted great. Fries were very good. And, my dog gobbled his chicken dish. Very pleased. The cost was about 30 bucks. Yes, pricey. BUT, everything is up these days.. Same items at Burger King run around $23... So, for the extra cost, I got a nicer, novel place to take my dog with better food. Plus, the owner was very welcoming. We'll definitely return again to try other items on the menu... read more

Food is okay. We've been here a couple times to give it a fair chance and have had tried the hots dogs, chicken sandwich, different fries options and the fried pickles. Fried pickles have been our favorite here. everything else so far looks really good but the taste seems to lack a little flavor. I was disappointed and frustrated in our last visit with the lack of care for small children that need a high chair and/or need to utilize the changing table. If you have little ones please be aware: - the high chairs are not fully functioning and a in my opinion are safety hazard. There were 3 chairs available and all had broken seatbelts. The high chairs also did not have the leg separating bar so a child could easily slip through the large opening especially with a broken seatbelt. - the baby changing table is filthy so be prepared to clean it before you use it or do not use it at all. Overall, a bit overpriced, food lacks. A little flavor and restaurant does not pay attention to details for little ones/small children. Allows dogs inside leashed. read more

This place is super duper cute! I love the concept of the restaurant and it's very Instagram worthy! Also you can bring your furry little friends as well! There wasn't a wait, it had a fast food field to it but much elevated in food options. We had plenty of different options from hot dawgs to rice bowls and sodas to milkshakes! It was nice to see the different varieties. I got the teriyaki burger cooked to a medium with a side of French fries. The burger was cooked perfect, the burger was sweet and savory on a fluffy bun. The French fries were cooked perfect not too over done but also none of the fries were soggy. My brother got the curry bowl, I had a bite and it has a lot of flavor, it reminded us of Panang curry but it was delicious! I also think there's a dog menu too for your furry friends! Overall love the concept of the place, everyone was very kind and I'd come here again! read more

I think this restaurant is so creative! I love the vibe of it and how dogs are allowed within the restaurant. I absolutely love how the bowls are dog bowls. Overall, the ambiance is wonderful and I think it's definitely a unique experience. However, I did think that the food was a bit overpriced as fries were an extra $2.50. The food was very delicious, I got the Italian Stallion and the Matcha Green Tea Shake, both were great. I really enjoyed the shake, I thought it was a nice balance of matcha and vanilla. However, I thought the sandwich could have used some more onions and peppers. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

This is literally the cutest restaurant!!! And you can bring your pup! The staff is extremely friendly and service was excellent. We tried the smoky bbq burger with smoky garlic cheese fries, lemongrass chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the chocolate mousse shake. The food was all prepared fresh and was phenomenal!!! The burger and chicken sandwiches were both juicy and flavorful. The chocolate shake was literally one of the best I've had EVER. HIGH QUALITY FOOD!! this was a great experience and we got to eat out of dog bowls!!! How cool is that!!! read more

I've seen pictures of this restaurant on Instagram and I was finally in the area. So I decided to give it a try. The Decor was so Cute with the hanging chairs with wall grass. And the puppy wall paper along the wall was very creative. While I was standing in line waiting to order I noticed everyone cooking wearing masks (which is a plus) the man at the front counter didn't have one which is ok because he wasn't in front of the food. I also noticed there was a young man serving the food that had no mask on. I understand it's not mandatory anymore. But my opinion is if you work with food and you see alot of people you should be wearing a mask. You really never know until it's too late. Also, no matter how busy it is you should have time to clean tables. Every table in the restaurant was dirty & sticky. I cleaned the table I sat at. Not acceptable at all. (Especially, since everything just opened back up things should be sanitized) I ordered the Cali Deluxe Dawg which had Applewood Bacon, Sriracha Ranch, Avocado, Onions, and toasted garlic (there was hardly any bacon in my hot dog just small little tiny pieces,) it was served in a dog bowl. But anyways it was just okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. I enjoy the sweet potatoe fries. My friend on the other hand ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Rice Bowl. And let me tell you it was not appealing at all. It literally looked like dog food. My friend ended up throwing it away because the texture tasted so bland with all the BBQ sauce and coleslaw on top. They should put the coleslaw on the side or something. It did not look like the picture on there website at all! Sadly, I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Dawg Park was a very cute themed restaurant with great flavors and nice people! My kids loved the beautiful doggie mural, the available toys, and the dog friendly inside allowed them to marvel at some canine friends who had also come for lunch (respectfully, from a distance). The service was friendly and the food all came correct to our table, if a bit slow. The Milwaukee Brat was smaller than expected, but filling, and the flavors of the toppings perfectly sang together for a delicious bite. The BBQ hotdog tasted phenomenal, but my husband wished it was a smidge bigger. My kids annihilated their Mac and cheese. The fries were crispy and I'd recommend ordering some kind of side or app since the dawgs seem to be on the small side. My biggest complaint is the bathrooms were not well maintained. The women's toilet just straight up didn't flush, and both bathrooms needed a deep clean. Overall would recommend, probably will be back next time we're in the area! read more

I stopped here for a late lunch with some friends on their recommendation. The dog theme is cute to an extent, and of course you can bring your dog here as well, but I think it goes a bit too far. I got the ninja burger, which is actually breaded and fried. It has lots of tasty add-ons like bacon and Wasabi mayo, but the toppings out shine the burger itself. It was tasty overall but the frying process over cooks the burger in my opinion. The sweet potato fries were flavorful but could have been a bit more crunchy. My friend got a cookie shake that he enjoyed, and both of my friends enjoyed their bowls. I asked for a cup for water, and while I get the idea of giving out smaller cups for free water, this thing wasn't much larger than a shot glass. You would need several trips back and forth from the machine to quench your thirst. Also, the water comes from the tea dispenser, and my water looked pretty brown as a result, so I skipped it entirely because im not a tea fan. Service was friendly and quite fast, but the dog bowl gimmick doesn't work for me, I'd much rather have a real plate or bowl that's easy to eat from (ever eat a hamburger out of a bowl? It's messy!). Over all I enjoyed myself but im not sure I'd make a return visit. If so, I'd definitely try something else. read more

I've seen this place on my feed but had yet to try it. It was intriguing with the dog theme. Upon walking into the restaurant, it just opened on a weekday, we were the first ones in for the day. The place had cute decor and played along well with dog park theme. There were swings and fake grass and booths and tables inside to sit at. Outside there were also plenty of seats, as they have the parking spots directly outside the restaurant sectioned off for tables. We ordered a variety of items and each ordered an add on for fries or sweet potato fries. I had the Ninja dawg which was a tempura battered fried hot dog topped with Sriracha ranch sauce, teriyaki, wasabi mayo avocado, onions, applewood bacon crumbles, toasted garlic and chili flake. A very hefty dog inside a hefty bun- which was able to withstand the quantity of toppings too. The hot dog was good and the fact that it was deep fried made it interesting- sort of an added crunch but also added fillingness to the dog as well. The different sauces (which was what the dog was primarily topped with) added a nice touch with the distinct flavors. I added fries to the dog which is $2.50 more for either regular or sweet potato. I did notice you got more regular fries than sweet potato ones. The regular fries were great! They were extra crispy, to the point that they seemed like they had something extra on it like also dipped in a coating before frying. The entire meal came in a dog bowl- cute touch. I do wish the fries came with a dipping sauce. Overall a great meal, very filling and would like to go back to try some of the fries with special toppings on it too. read more

Great find! Its always a joy to have a place that allows your fur family in to dine with you. Food was okay for it's prices, I think the sauces are a bit too strong but we can just ask for less sauce next time. We took a spin up to Glenview to support local businesses. Comfort food expectations exceeded! We got the Chicagoan style hotdog which is surprisingly less greasy than its wrigleyville counterpart and the philly cheese steak which had the perfect balance of meat cheese and veggies. Fries were cooked to perfection and the matcha green shake was heads above the typical Starbucks matcha green tea Frappuccino. Highly recommended and super cute inside for when restaurants finally open back up. read more

This has a really cute atmosphere and pre-Covid they would deliver some of the food and animal bowls. I got the grilled lemon grass chicken bowl with rice. You get a choice of rice or potatoes. I also got an order of fries. The portions were generous and the food was good. Lots of different items to choose from including tons of hot dogs, Philly cheese steaks, Italian beef etc. A place where you can take your kids to eat once things go back to normal! read more

Hubby and I ordered dinner to go on a Monday evening and it was ready within the expected time window. I had a chili cheese dog, fries, and a chocolate mousse shake. Hubby had a blazin' BBQ burger, sweet potato fries, and a matcha green tea shake. The chili cheese dog was nothing special and was smaller than I expected for $9. I much prefer the one at Boba Burger. The fries were soggy by the time they arrived home. The chocolate shake was decent but the matcha green tea shake was better and more flavorful. Shortly after dinner I literally felt sick to my stomach which hardly ever happens (I've had my fair share of food from hole in the wall restaurants). Needless to say we will not be back. read more

New restaurant in The Glen Town Center. I love a good hot dog as much as anyone but what I don't like is a $8 hot dog. So horribly over priced. I don't care if it's a gourmet hot dog or not. Two hot dogs fries and a drink will put you over the twenty dollar range. They do offer a beef or a pork and a vegerterian version but I'm just not gonna pay that much period. I was determined to try something here and not walk across the street to Potbelly's which I really like. So, I forced myself to try something else on the menu and I'm glad I did because the Lemongrass Chicken Bowl was very good. Two small things they could do better, the Greek salad dressing needs more oil and less vinegar and it seems that happens when you mix a batch of salad dressing it separates and it's hard to get the correct amount of oil and vinegar in the small plastic containers, the work around for that is to put a little of "gum" in the dressing so the oil and vinegar does not separate and you solve two issues one is getting the right mix in the small containers and second is to give the customer a dressing that stays mixed so every bite has the right amount of oil and vinegar because now some bites are oily and some are vinegary. Second thing that could be improved is the garlic bread, it's now a very chewy and tough piece of bread very hard to eat, my view is there are two other choices, you could buy commercial frozen garlic bread likes Texas toast put a slice or two in a regular bread toaster and you would give a tasty piece of garlic bread with your dinners the other choice would be to get a commercial bread toaster like the ones in hotel breakfast buffets or the ones Dunkin donuts uses for toasting bagels the ones with conveyor belts. You would have to experiment with the type of bread you would use but you should be able to get a tasty piece of garlic bread. Don't forget your staff is your best resource, make different versions and have your staff help you decide which they like more and do that one. Good luck.

There were 7 tables occupied, including us. The music that they had was not too loud, just that customers' conversations were amplified by the box shape open dining area. If we focused enough, we could hear every conversation if we wanted to. This was obvious when a table of about 6 women got seated at a table near the front door, some of them laughed and talked very loudly. My husband and I just found it funny and didn't let that bother us. However, when the restaurant is filled on busier days, it might be a different story. Our server, Patrick, was very nice and attentive. Since they did not list drinks on their menu except those with alcohol, I asked him about non-alcoholic drinks. After a brief "discussion", he asked me to leave it to him to make me a drink with mango. He came up with a beautiful drink that was good and refreshing, with some mango flavor. It was Virgin Paloma on our receipt for $8, which was reasonable. He was very polite and checked in on us several times at appropriate times during our dinner. The pace of the dinner was good, we spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes in the restaurant. Patrick might be the only waiter serving all the tables that evening, though. I also ordered Grilled Octopus ($22) which was very good, tender and flavorful, but was a little too salty to my taste. The small pita bread wedges were warm and fluffy with some crispy edges, the beet hummus was creamy, and everything was delicious and tasted fresh. I generously shared 2 little bites of octopus with my husband and I finished the entire plate, it was so good! My husband really liked his Spiked White Fish ($29) and I shared a bite of that too. He also had a House Salad for $6, that was a very good value. He enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc Crossing ($12) too. We also shared an order of Crème Brulee ($8), that was creamy and cooked perfectly. We ordered a takeout order of Rigatoni with Sausage ($23), that was a good portion, and was still delicious and al dente the next day after being microwaved. I am so happy that we found Social Inn - a hidden gem in Plaza del Prado, it's not far from home, with comfortable and beautiful ambiance, excellent service (from Patrick), an attractive menu with enticing food (fresh ingredients and appealing plating), and reasonable prices, we will definitely be back!
