Dishonest My husband and I drove quite a way to look at a 2018 Acadia for sale at Day's in Ackworth. We were helped by two different gentlemen. Both were very polite when speaking with us, however we felt like we were lied to and given the run around a little bit. First thing, the Acadia we were looking at had an issue with the back gate. You could see that it was off center and not closing properly. My husband could fit his pinky finger through the side where the gate should be sealed. These concerns were quickly brushed off by the sales rep and we were told all Acadias were like that he did say if we were really concerned it might be covered under warranty if we wanted to have it "adjusted" because that's all it would need... We started looking at the other Acadias on the lot to compare. Three of the four we checked out had broken (chipped and cracked) tail lights. Three of the four had rear gates that were off center. Next, when my husband tried to open the hood, he couldn't get it to unlatch and when he asked for help, he again was quickly brushed off and we were distracted by the salesman. We never saw under the hood. We did decide to go speak inside about working out a trade because I really have my heart set on an Acadia and this one was listed for a great price. Huge surprise... the low balled us on a trade in offer. Really really low. They claimed the carfax report showed an accident with air bags deployed and that's why the offer was so low... we bought our car new and can say with 100% certainty the air bags have never deployed. They never showed us the carfax report that claimed our car had been in an accident with airbags. They offered slightly more ($500) after we told them adamantly that it never happened, but not enough for us to feel good about trading. The offer was still well below the kbb trade in value. The last thing that really bugged me was the first sales man told us he was going to "let the boss man help us get a better trade deal" and went to help someone else. When the "boss man" came to help HE told us he was retired and just came back to help out for the day because someone was out... So who knows who this person was. Like I said, both gentleman were respectful when speaking to us and never rude, but that is really the only positive thing I can say about our experience with this dealership. If we were just unable to agree to terms that would be one thing and I wouldn't be leaving a bad review. Sometimes things just don't work out. But the dishonesty was infuriating. read more

Customer service here is ABSOLUTELY trash. Mr. Lee Waters needs to learn social skills. Made me super uncomfortable. There was a recall on the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze stating there was air in the back brakes. I stop in and I was told to be there Saturday. I'm there an hour early saturday morning still dark out. I was the first customer in the building. I was told it would take 30 min very fast to hang out in the lounge. An hour passes by so I ask for a shuttle. I get home and at 11 I call and my car isn't ready. I call at 2 my car isn't ready. I decide to go run some errands and stop by the dealership after I call at 5 and my car is finally done. The service department left early that day and decided to lie and or not tell me my car was done when you'd think they would contact me to let me know I can pick it up. A MECHANIC who was on his way out the door answered and said it's been ready for hours. I was pissed. I sat around my entire Saturday waiting on my car. I work Monday through Friday from 4 am to 6 PM. I only get sat and Sunday to relax and spend time with my family. Worst place I've ever been too. This was a used car I bought. In the beginning I was very pleased, however when I asked for a new oil change before the purchase I was told it was done but the indicator was not reset and no sticker to let me know when it should be chandged. Then, the AC stopped working within a day or so of buying the car. Mark said they would take care of it when they made me a second key (much appreciated). Then I get a call that the cabin air filter is really dirty and should be changed at a cost of about $70. That should of been done before selling the car! It was taken care of but never should of happened. After getting my car back, oil indicator has not changed, there was a dirt smudge on passenger seat that was not there previous to bringing it in and the AC stopped working again. These means more time dropping it off, another loaner which has no gas......very frustrating. I figured out how to reset the oil indicator myself (assuming it was done). read more

First time to write a review. In summary, never again will I take my Chevrolet Silverado to Day's Chevrolet. I took my truck in this morning for an oil change. When it was returned to me, there was black grease from the tech's pants on the side edge of my seat. The interior is dune/light tan fabric so it was the first thing I saw. Hoping it was just on the surface I tried to brush it off, but the stain was still there. I went and told the service adviser (Carol, I think was her name) that there was a stain on my seat and asked how was Day's going to clean it. She said no problem, she would take care of it. A few minutes later she returns with another person claiming they could not see it. I go out and point out the stain and he still claims he does not see it. After putting my hand on it and exposing the stain all the way around the side edge, he says it is wear and tear and was already there. I let him know it was NOT already there, that their service tech made the stain, and if it was wear and tear, it was from a tech wearing dirty pants getting in my truck. His attitude became condescending but he said he would clean it anyway. I initially agreed but then changed my mind and said, "No, I will take care of it" and drove away thinking "Never again. NEVER AGAIN." Three strikes: 1. Getting grease on my seat in the first place. 2. Denying it is there ("We don't see it") 3. Blaming it on the customer. (wear and tear) read more

I would of gave them NO STARS! But yelp only lets you rate low from one star. I went to Day's Chevrolet in May to have my PT Cruiser serviced. I told them my car was a no crank/ no start BUT my vehicle's battery was just fine because the windows still rolled up and down and the lighting on the dash still came on. Their technician misdiagnosed my car and said it was a battery issue when it was my ignition switch actuator FROM THE BEGINNING ALL ALONG! So because they could not find the REAL reason on why my car was acting that way. Days Chevrolet was being money-hungry and did a quick fix on my car by replacing the negative and positive cable cords on my car when that was not the issue. That cost me $430. Here I am now, in July having to come back to get my car serviced again because they did not diagnose it right from the beginning. They told me to bring my car back in and later called me to tell me what the problem was, in which I had already figured that out on my own in only a matter of 5 minutes. But their sorry technician couldn't find what the problem was the first time so he repaired something that DID NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED! Can you say Thief by deception! Days Chevrolet called me and wanted to charge me $350 to fix the problem that they should've fixed from the beginning! What a rip off! I later spoke to their GM- General Manager (LARUE BEN) and he was unprofessional to the point where I see where everyone in that place gets it from. He called my car a shitty vehicle. Arrogant a**hole! He knew they had screwed me over so he lowered the pricing to $176. Did I mention that Im a young college female? Yes Days Chevrolet took advantage of me. They were discriminating towards me as well as being sexist!!!! If your a woman reading this PLEASE PLEASE I BEG YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO HAVE IT SERVICED WITH DAYS CHEVROLET THEY WILL MAKE YOUR BILL EXPENSIVE AND WONT TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT THEY FIXED until your car is broken down again because they wanted to be MONEY HUNGRY AND NOT FIX THE RIGHT ISSUE TO BEGIN WITH SO THAT YOU'D COME BACK!! I brought my 2013 Equinox in for oil change and brake inspection this past weekend.. I arrived at 7:50 a.m. and there was already 10+ cars waiting for service dept. I parked my car in the line and walked over to the quick lube area. They were not opened yet but I was able to ask an employee if I was in the right line for oil change and brakes and I was told that if I was having brakes installed then I was in the right line. Then the manager opens the bay door to verify that I needed brakes and I told him I wasn't sure but they were making a "grabbing" noise, and I needed them inspected, but, if I did need brakes then yes I wanted them done that day. The manager told me to bring the vehicle over to the quick lube area and they would take a look. Now, I was the 3rd car waiting for service! Turned out my breaks were fine and I was out of there in 80 minutes! The manager is awesome and if he had not questioned what type of service I was trying to get done, I would have ended up waiting a very long time for basically an oil change! I am very happy with my recent experience!! read more
