Since I was leaving early the next morning for a family trip and had a family of five to pack for, I wish they had called and asked me to come later. The pedicure was worse. I requested a nude polish under a gold-flake top coat and pointed out the shade I wanted, but the nail tech repeatedly insisted I didn't need a base and tried to apply the top coat directly. When she finally brought a nude, it was extremely sheer. After I asked for something more opaque, she said, "No, this is fine," and continued until I moved my foot away. She rolled her eyes, muttered under her breath, and eventually brought another color. Afterward, I noticed my big toenails had been filed crooked. When I mentioned it to the cashier, the nail tech overheard and aggressively said, "It's your toes. That's your problem, not mine." The manager wasn't there, so I requested a call, but never received one. They did comp the pedicure, which I appreciated. I hope this was an anomaly, as I've had many great experiences at Le Reve. Still, the unexplained wait, poor service, disrespectful behavior, and lack of management follow-up were incredibly disappointing.
