Pad Se are - one tiny piece of broccoli...can you find it?

Just did a carry out, paid extra for broccoli and literally there was 1 tiny piece in the Pad Se Ew. No real seasoning either.

Deejai Thai was the best of both worlds! Some people wanted Thai some wanted sushi so it was perfect. I got the red dragon roll which was great but SUPER spicy. I think their spicy Mayo is the culprit of the spicy. The salmon nigiri were also great. We split pad thai and that was also so good. Ambiance is cute inside and the service was great.

Great lunch special deals!!!! We came here for lunch and it was an amazing deal. You get a soup and light appetizer (fried wonton strips with sweet chili sauce) that comes with your choice of entree. I'm someone who can eat spicy so when I say that their spice is legit, I mean it!! Their lunch entrees are enough for two meals. I came with a party of three and none of us finished our meals and had enough for a second portion to take home! We also saw that they had bottomless sangria for $5 and took advantage of that deal. Our server was super attentive and sweet. She always made sure our drinks were full. Can't wait to come back again and I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a lunch deal that is worth every $$!

Take Out Time, Decent amount of parking

We got pickup from here. The amount of pad Thai is definitely sharable for 2 people didn't look like in the the container but it was! Good Flavor not to Sweet but always better with a lil sauce for a kick! Crab Rangoon were very good tasted like real crab but don't know if it was or not and they were fried to perfection. You get 5 (can't stand odd number appetizers) Spring Rolls were just good regular spring rolls but good and you get 4 of them per appetizer. Food was ready quickly and if you check in you get FREE SPRING ROLLS PARKING IS DECENT BUT IT WAS RAINY SO IT WASN'T TO BUSY.

Food was good and enough for two people. We also had lemongrass which was tasty. It's good but service was okay and not amazing given the 20% gratuity added in it seemed like they slacked because they already knew they would get a good tip. We may try it again but have had more authentic other places.

Food is average, with a lot of salt. Good size portions though. Service was friendly and attentive. It would have been nice to see the itemized bill and the automatic service fee before I paid and added the tip! Ambience is nice.

Wonderful experience as a first-timer here! We were quickly seated without a reservation on a packed Saturday night, met with warm and friendly service, and everything hit the spot: highly recommend the Khao Soi and Red Curry with Salmon!

Awesome spot for lunch! I have been meaning to try Deejai Thai for about a year and yesterday I finally did for lunch. First off, they give you a complimentary bowl of soup when you sit down plus some crispy wonton skins. They have a large lunch menu, that's pretty eclectic with more than just Thai dishes. I ordered the cashew delight with chicken and it was SO good. Lots of umami flavor and a hint of sweetness. You can't beat the price either, it was only $12 for all that. Will most definitely be back. Food: 4.9/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Cost: 5/5

Deejai is my very favorite Thai restaurant. It is quaint and located on Providence Road. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I love a lot about it, but the greatest things are that the food is awesome, and we always have the best waitress. Their whole team is very nice and accommodating, so it always feels very welcoming to go and doesn't disappoint. My first draw to Deejai was the shrimp pad thai, but now my favorite dish is panang curry which I get with beef or a combination of beef and shrimp. They have a lot of great appetizers too, but my favorites are the curry pot stickers, fresh basil rolls and pork bahn mi sliders. I usually dine in, but they are a very popular place for to go orders too. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is stylish, modern, and surprisingly chic , with a great location that makes it easy to add to an evening out. As first-time guests, we especially appreciated our server, who patiently walked us through the process and made sure there were no surprises. The explanation about the charge for uneaten all-you-can-eat sushi that guests want to take home was particularly helpful. Knowing the rules upfront makes all the difference and sets the right expectations from the start. The food was excellent. We worked our way through several rolls , sampled dumplings , and didn't find a miss among them. My Lycheetini was delicious, and after tasting a couple of sakes , I ended up buying a bottle to take home. Zero regrets there. Parking requires a little planning, with a paid lot nearby unless you're fortunate enough to snag a street spot right in front. Overall, I'd happily return and enjoy the entire experience all over again.

So his choice was here. Google directions suck they took us around the back to the parking garage for the 2nd level and since we have never been here before it took us a few minutes to figure out how to get down to the first level. When we entered there was a waiter taking an order and no one else on the floor so we had a little bit to get seated even though there were only two other parties in the restaurant. We were able to sit wherever we wanted so I sat with a view of the screen with the replay of the Brazil FIFA game on. My husband wanted the unagi don but didn't order because the price seemed high. The table next to us all ordered bowls and the serving size was huge so my husband regretted it. We order takoyaki, spicy wings, and 3 rolls Godzilla, Hadouken, and Master Roshi. The wings had amazing flavor but were not spicy. Takoyaki was flavorful and the perfect temperature. I get a lot of takoyaki that is entirely too hot and have to crack them open to cool before eating them. My husband did not enjoy the Godzilla roll he said the topping was too much and didn't add to the flavor. But enjoyed the other two. I enjoyed all three rolls the flavor was fresh and very little need for soy sauce fine without it. If we are ever in Charlotte with time to eat I would stop here again.

The cucumber salad was nicely, chilled on refreshing the takoyaki delicious the temper was good, had a cocktail it was fine, except very small considering what it cost. . The servers were efficient, friendly, and conscientious. The only thing was the restroom. There were a couple of signs in there that I did not consider appropriate for restaurant of the caliber in any case bye . We'll have to try again another time to see if that makes the reaction not bad but not great either.

Great location in south end near the light rail. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated promptly. The restaurant is gorgeous! I was in amazement walking to my seat. The host was about to sit us at a table, but we requested a booth and were accommodated. Our server was very nice and thoroughly explained the menu. We started off with the empanadas and I ordered my first virgin "pinny yolada" :). The empanadas were mind blowing! They were nice and hot, flavorful, and absolutely a delight! We were so impressed, we decided to order the double fried wings afterwards. The wings were good and had an interested flavor with the tamarind. After the wonderful appetizers, it was time for the entrees. I ordered the short rib yuca gnocchi and my friend the arroz con pollo. On paper the gnocchi sounded sublime, but in actuality it was lacking a lot. The entire dish lacked so much flavor, even with hot sauce, additional salt, and lime it tasted bland. I was very disappointed. The empanadas and service were a saving grace, I ordered two orders of empanadas to go for my family. However they were so expensive. I paid $14 for 3. Even though I loved the empanadas, I probably would not be back.

We arrived at 5:17 p.m., were greeted immediately, and seated right away. When I opened my menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see "Happy Birthday" printed across the top. Another thoughtful detail that made the evening feel special. Since we arrived early, the atmosphere was quiet, intimate, and honestly very romantic. We could actually hear each other talk without raising our voices. The lighting was perfectly dim--creating a cozy ambiance without making it difficult to see the menu. The service was equally enjoyable. Our waiter and waitress were attentive, friendly, and never overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. As for the food, it was every bit as good as I remembered. The quality hasn't changed at all--fresh, beautifully prepared sushi with consistently excellent flavors. We'd never tried Omakase before, but we've had other curated dining experiences. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. Within the first 20 minutes, our first dish arrived and it was excellent...But then...nothing. We waited, and waited, and waited. An entire hour passed before the next dish appeared. I pulled the waitress aside to check on the delay, she explained they had a sudden influx of customers but she'd ask the kitchen to move a little quicker. The food did start coming out after that, and the managers came over to address the delay, which I appreciated, but the damage was done. I wanted a memorable birthday experience for my daughter, and unfortunately it ended up being a bit of a disappointment considering the time and cost. The food itself was delicious, but poor pacing and lack of attention to the customer overshadowed the entire experience. I didn't ask for compensation but the managers took it upon themselves to comp my wine flight. I hope this was a one off experience but I can't say that I'll return to this restaurant.
