Have been to Del Frisco's Grille a couple of times during NYC Summer 2026 Restaurant Week and have had great meals. Good selection of items on the Restaurant Week menu and you can also order from the regular menu (which we have done) The Cheesesteak Eggrolls are a terrific appetizer - great flavor. The Filet and Salmon for our mains were perfectly prepared on both occasions and were very good. For dessert, the Nutella Bread Pudding was awesome. Our servers for both visits were wonderful. We've been to a couple of DelFrisco's in the city, including this one at Brookfield Place, but never tried their brunch until now. We were very pleasantly surprised with the selections and quality of food. The Silver Dollar Sour is an interesting twist on an Old Fashioned, and I enjoyed the maple, lemon juice and mint. Their avocado toast is very substantial (3 loaded slices!) with herb & cheese spread, pickled shallots, and cherry tomatoes - delicious! Their Crab Benedict is, as the name suggests, Eggs Benedict with crab instead of ham, plus a Cajun lobster sauce served with roasted potatoes, and it was heavenly! I added a side of thick-cut bacon to it, which was a little tough but flavorful. We ended the meal with their decadent Cookie Crumble Sundae. You can choose from three cocktails -- Espresso Martini, Vodka Martini, or Femme Fatale. We chose the Femme Fatale made with vodka and elderflower, and it was so good. Only thing: our "spicy" cavatappi had zero spice... no pepper flakes, nothing and it needed a little more flavor. We also tried their Happy Hour, which runs 3-5 PM every day and is bar area only. Everything on the HH menu is $10, so we grabbed the pepperoni flatbread, buffalo wings, margarita, cheesesteak eggrolls, and the holiday drink. I stopped into Del Frisco's Grille at the World Trade Center with two friends for an early birthday celebration, and the experience landed somewhere in the middle for me. The wine was honestly the highlight rich, smooth, and exactly what you hope for when you're settling into a nice dinner. The steaks, while cooked decently, didn't quite deliver that memorable, melt-in-your-mouth moment I was hoping for. The sides, though, definitely held their own. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the creamed spinach had great flavor, and even the brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes hit the spot. I will say the atmosphere felt a bit chaotic. It seemed like every office in the area picked the same week for their holiday party, so the dining room was buzzing and not in a way that made my early birthday dinner feel special. While walking around exploring the area on a Friday night I came across this place. They have additonal seating upstairs and outside. We sat upstairs, and took the stairs however they do have an elevator. The server was so friendly and had the best recommendation for desert. For the appetizer we did the cheese curds they were just ok... a bit to greasy. You do get complimentary pretzel bread, served nice and hot with a good quality butter that was very yummy. This is my third time visiting this NYC location near World Trade Center with my job and it's always a hit. I've had the steak and chicken from this location and most recently visited the Indianapolis one too. The steak is always well prepared the knife cut right through ( prime ribeye) the chicken has the perfect crispy crust and always juicy. This time I had oscar style (with crab sauce) it was yummy but I just wish they added more crab. The mash potatoes and truffle Mac and cheese is also great. I remember coming here years ago at least twice and having a great experience. Time has taken its toll on Del Frisco's Grille. The restaurant feels a little weathered. Popped in tonight, the Sunday before Thanksgiving and it was packed with a tourist crowd, most of whom were off to see the Radio City Christmas Show, as the table next to us informed me. Service was fine but nothing special. It was a struggle to find the waiter but he was kind when he was around. Martinis are strong (as they often are). Espresso martini is on the sweeter side. I love short ribs, but these were way too salty. Overall for such a pricey experience (most entrees are $30 - $60) you would expect better. I ordered a filet medium rare and it came out rare. For a steakhouse, you would think they'd get this right, especially for a $52 steak. The bleu cheese butter I ordered never came out. And the steak was somehow bland. Zero seasoning whatsoever. The French fries and the creamed spinach were good. The service was quick and attentive. It's true what the other reviewers say that this is a churn and burn type of restaurant. I knocked a star off, because they got my order wrong. Overall, this place is not worth the money. If you're going to drop $52 on an 8 oz filet, there are plenty of other amazing steakhouses in New York. Just get out of the touristy area. It will be worth the subway or cab fare. read more

Overall 4 stars, 5 stars for food, 4 stars for service. came here twice before, about 6 years ago and in 2019. Casual dress, attentive staff especially the hostess and manager. Very clean including the bathrooms, everyone was very courteous and said hello even if they were not serving you directly. In all fairness I did tell the waiter we had about 1 hour 20 limited ad I had to make the movie. The waiter was very nice although I found it odd to ask customers to pass over any glasses or plates that would not be used. All the dishes we had were great with awesome flavor! We shared the Ahi tuna tacos, and the cheesesteak egg rolls. I loved the chili sauce with the egg rolls. For mains we had the Bronzino, the wedge salad with salmon, Mac and cheese and loved the halibut with the House Spiced Rub, Forbidden Fried Rice, Mango Salsa. No time for desert, the staff was accommodating and not rushed. The hostess and manager came by a few times to make all was well and to refill our water glasses. Best Happy Hour downtown NYC! Great drink and appetizer specials. I highly recommend this location. Get there early because the bar gets busy on Fridays. Because it's in the Financial District expect to be in the presence of Traders and Brokers for happy because it's one of their go to spots. The vibe is electric and fast past. The heartbeat of the establishment is the two amazing bartenders, Sarah and Matt. I give them both 5 stars because they are both welcoming, attentive, professional and customer focused. One thing that didn't sit well with me was that I ordered fries and it appeared as though the fries were either left under the heat lamp or placed in the oil a second time. We chose Del Frisco because the outdoor dining area was off the street and surrounded by hedges and flowers so it did not feel like the world was wizzing by around us. We were in a peaceful area, and can ignore the hustle bustle easily. Being in Rockefeller center we tried to find some place not so touristy and chain restaurant like. Our waiter was prompt and attentive. We shared ahi tuna tacos and had some cocktails for an appetizer. All were delish! My cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, and had an over abundant amount of sweet potato fries. My husband ordered the steak salad after seeing the couple next to us order the same thing. We had a client event hosted here and everything went smoothly. Had a chance to try the tuna tartare tacos and Philly cheese steak rolls. Both delicious to start. Caesar salad was well balanced with cheese. Had the bone in rib eye medium rare and while it was a bit closer to the rare side, I didn't mind it. Very well seasoned, ate almost every bit of it. Stopped by Del Frisco's Grille for a casual bite on a Friday night after work and overall had a good experience. We started with the crispy cheese curds, which were just okay -- not bad, but nothing memorable. I really enjoyed the iceberg lettuce wedge -- super fresh, with a good balance of creaminess and crunch. Just a heads-up: if you prefer it chopped rather than served in a large wedge, make sure to ask when you order. The highlight for me was definitely the shaved steak sandwich. Perfectly cooked, tender steak with just the right amount of melt and flavor. Would definitely come back just for that.
