I absolutely love this location! It's very very rare that I ever feel the need to 5 Star a fast food restaurant. However, Every time I have ever visited this Del Taco and I've gone inside it is spotless and well maintained. Kind of blew my mind to the point that I even complimented the staff on keeping such a clean restaurant front and back. The service is always polite and kind and they do a great job with the food as well. Congratulations you guys you do an excellent job!! read more

Went tonight (Saturday 04/05 @ 5pm and ordered 3 tacos in the drive thru for $6. Got home and there only 2 tacos in the bag. Place was not busy and there was no receipt also in the bag. I was home when I found out and it wasn't worth going back after getting home. However I will NEVER go there again and hit Taco Bell if I want something. Really disappointing - can't trust anyone. Why are they not in Google reviews so I can give them a '1' there? JH read more

I used to eat Del Taco when I was younger all the time in St. Louis but I haven't had it too much since I moved to Arizona 14 years ago. Popped by this location tonight to give it another try and the app wasn't working but the manager with the beanie was fantastic and provided exceptional customer service. read more

This Del Taco is by our house and the workers there are so nice and polite. The food is always fresh and delicious and it gets my little family and I fed on a pinch. Try their breakfast cheese and egg rollers next time you're there on the AM! Super affordable and relatively healthy! read more

They have really cut back on the amount of ingredients they give you. Their Del tacos look nothing like the Del Taco on the website and their tostadas look nothing like the tostada on the website. I love their food but they've got to give you what they advertise. read more

This place is still showing open late/and 24hrs..... why? When the place is closed? And they close when they feel like it too. What's wrong with the management? Do they not care? Or is the management part of the problem..... well in due time this place will go under, and the employees are the ones going to ruin it, especially the night crew. They mess up the order and they play games in the drive thru. Management needs to be seriously notified about what's happening here. Smfh read more

I love to visit this place when I am in Mesa. I love their fish tacos, they are crunchy and delicious. I tried the tamales but I didn't care for them. I also had the chicken quesadilla snacked which was pretty good. I won't ever visit Mesa without getting a fish taco here. read more

The Chica with the false I lashed at the counter dropped my bag of food on the counter right in front of me...no thank you no "would you like Salsa?" no "come back again!" A male manager must have hired for as eye candy because she has NO personality to speak of and she certainly knows nothing about how to treat her customers! Let me start by giving the disclaimer that I am a huge Del Taco fan, having grown up in SoCal and having access to numerous locations. There is something subpar about this particular location. First, they have messed up my order on more than one occasion. Usually, it's not worth my time driving back so I'll just eat the mistake (pun intended). As a result I've become that guy who stops in the drive through to check the food and make sure the order is correct. I could get past that if the food was of the quality I know and love having eaten it growing up - but it's not. The food is incredibly lackluster. I'll give an example. I got the carne asada quesadilla stuffed taco, which is a premium item, and hated it. The carne asada was super dry. The cheese was barely melted. The tortilla felt like it was soft right out the packet. I got a chicken quesadilla and the same thing - dry chicken and barely melted cheese in a soft tortilla. I also don't like that they are very stingy with the sauce packets. The Del Taco I'm used to is greasy, warm, and shown love to keep their customers coming back. This location tastes like they are more focused on margins and pushing out cheap food as quick as possible. I've had several less than stellar experiences but it's at the point where I refuse to be let down again, so you have lost a customer. read more

Del Taco has good food just don't go to this location. They need to close this location. They say they are open 24 hours ( they must not be smart enough to update this). Still I called to confirm and they informed me they closed at 10. So I placed my online order and showed up at 9:49. Only to be ignored by the lazy employees inside. I had to cancel my order, they aren't out anything but I am out the gas I wasted driving here even though I did my due diligence and called first. Close this location and let these lazy individuals find new jobs. I am sure they are qualified to do something else. read more

It is a fast-food, chain, Mexican restaurant. My review is based on the assumption that you understand that first. I mean, you're not getting haute cuisine here, right? They have tacos, burritos, and other typical Mexican-inspired fare alongside burgers and fries. Yes, you can get a combo meal that is a burrito, a taco, a drink and... fries. I don't judge. They do a good job with the fries: hot and crispy. Their chicken is tasty and I really like the chicken tacos. My wife had a steak burrito and let me try some of it. There was a chipotle cream sauce on it that was unexpected and complemented the rest of the burrito ingredients nicely (the one she got had fries in it, too). I like the Medium sauce here. The hot is fine, but I feel that the Medium has the best balance between heat and flavor. They also have a Mild and Ketchup -- yeah, for the burgers and fries ;) For the price, this is a good place, and the employees at this location were friendly. I don't go here all the time, but it feels like a step up from Taco Bell... a change of pace if nothing else read more

Took forever to give me my food took more than 20 and sill gave us the wrong order went back and they still gave us the wrong order food was terrible everything was burnt food tasted old. Within my experience and visitation of this del taco I can come to the conclusion that every single employee are bots and new to collect unemployment checks and get a new job!!!!!! read more

I'm shocked that most people who work at fast food establishments think they work so hard, it's so stressful and they feel they deserve a raise.....Give me a break! Every time I go to this location, they screw up the order, and it's not a difficult order either (I never have a special order). I have to go back every freaking time because I get the wrong food or they do not give me all my food that I ordered. Seriously....how difficult is it to get it right the first time??!! It's not brain surgery kids, it's just a simple food order! I feel sorry for the future of our country, the younger kids nowadays are freaking clueless!! Just sad! read more

Let me just put out into the universe that Del Taco is not my first choice for a meal. But they normally have pretty decent french fries, and it works late night. This is the first time I have patronized this Del Taco. There wasn't a very long line, so that was a good start. Then came the bad news: the grill was being cleaned, so there were no hamburgers available! What?! 11pm on a weekend and your grill is down? How the heck are you making quesadillas or anything else for that matter? My husband ended up with some turkey tacos that were pretty good. You couldn't tell they weren't beef. Good in my book, maybe not so good for others. I got a beef and bean burrito and the fries. Loves the fries, hated the burrito. It was a sloppy mess and reminded me of a worse version of a microwave burrito. With the grill out of service, maybe it was microwaved! Who knows. The cashier was not at all apologetic for the inconvenience, and was actually pretty short with us. I mean. It's YOUR fault! Who cleans the grill before during peak night weekend time? read more

I wonder how many full price half-filled del tacos it'll take to satisfy my hunger. Wish I'd have known I was going to be gypped on ingredients. Drive thru order = opening food once home. I mean, I don't even get cheese on them, the least y'all could do is throw more lettuce on them. This location continues to disappoint. Inconsistent food temps and orders often incorrect. Either missing ingredients or absolute wrong product all together. Come on management. Get control of your restaurant. read more

Update: wouldn't give me a new taco to replace the one with a bug because I didn't have the receipt which they didn't give me in the first order... wish I could rate this place a 0 Star. So disgusting! Original: First hard taco I open had a bug come out of the inside and crawl to the outside of the shell (luckily before I took a bute. I come back the next night at 11:50 pm and they were already closed. I only came for my girl in the first place then the next night to get a clean taco but I guess I'll try next time. I don't even care for Del Taco but now I'll end up spending a few more bucks just for a taco without a bug in it lol. read more

Haven't been to this location before but we happened to be driving by. Price was a little more than we expected but we are willing to pay for convenience and today was convenient. Also noticed they have 3 tacos for $1.29 Tuesday's!...that's a great deal. Noticed they have "Platos" now. Didn't try it though cause didn't want beans and rice. Anyway, service was super fast, easy and we got exactly what we expected so BAM! read more

Props to this location for being friendly and timely with our food @2am this morning. Gross, this place is gross. It is cheap, but that is obviously for a reason. Some fast food places nearby are even worse, & not even as cheap though, so no surprise they are still in business. What is it about fast food places not serving healthy food, seriously what is so slow about an apple, or banana? Healthy alternatives to what this place serves up may even be more affordable in some cases, organic bananas sell for 69 cents a pound nearby. For those who believe depopulation is necessary, this place is highly recommended for you first. read more

Let me start out by saying I have always loved Del Taco. This particular location that I stopped into today was very clean an the service is an A+ the gentleman behind the counter greeted me in a genuine way, took my order and thanked me. I walked over to the soda fountain filled my drink where everything was fully stocked and very clean. I sat down and the man who took my order brought my food to my table. It's nice to see the employees here going above and beyond for being a fast food joint. I will be. I will be visiting this particular location again. read more

My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

We were all greeted and seated at a large booth that fit six easily. Our waiter was kind and professional giving us time to get settled. It was late afternoon so it wasn't the busiest. After ordering our food arrived quick enough and all to our liking. Prices are fair for the large portions they serve. Overall all a positive outing with the grandkids who ate all their food. Found a parking spot and grabbed our hiking boots to begin our journey towards the restaurant. Atmosphere 5/5 Like the other location (Gilbert?) it is a nice and popular location. Atmosphere is modern Latin good vibes and based on the libations area my guess this place gets pretty slammed on weekends., Service 10/5 We had the pleasure having Lesi as our server. She was prompt, attentive and very polite. Lesi took time to answer questions including some off menu options. We ordered the Hefe fajitas steak chimichangas and the Chipotle Albondiga soup and cheese crisp. Food 5/5 First the cheese crisp was the best we've had. Thin crust browned perfectly and the perfect cheese blend. The soups was very nice as well. The Hefe chimichangas was ginormous with great fajitas steak and stir fried vegetables. Update: the owner messaged me and told me to buy an entire chicken. Uh, maybe put some chicken in the chicken burrito? Update #2: The owner sure does like to argue with the customer back and forth. Now, he proposed that I order from Chipotle instead since they fail to give customer what one paid for. Update #3: The owner still going back and forth with me and now claiming I did not pay for the burritos. Not really sure what he means by that. But here is the screen shot of 2 burritos ordered via DoorDash. This is just wild.
