ordered a $13 carne asada burrito, it was ok, but the customer service is what really ticked me off, a 20YO white girl with glasses and a miserable attitude, I asked for some red salsa for my to go order, and she half assed pointed at the salsa bar and said its over there, the salsa at that bar looked gross so i repeated my request for 2 red salsas, she grabbed them from her bucket and shoved them in my hand and walked away. I've been going here for a long time and I always get extra little green sauce because you don't put enough in. Whoever your counter person was said she could not give me any little extra green sauces that the manager said she couldn't. I gave my food back and got my money back and you have lost a customer. Stopped by the drive through this morning on the way home from a hike. Ordered a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. Their portions are large so my husband and I always share one. The service was fast and friendly. The burrito was good, but a bit greasy. They do have daily specials and when we want quick Mexican food we will stop again. read more

Fries were soggy and the Tamirino drink was watered down. 0 for customer service and food was subpar and I eat here 2 or 3 times a week. No more though. The drive thru is fast and convenient. I normally get carne asada tacos or burritos and never have any issue, it is typically skirt or flank, not sure how others are getting shredded beef. For $12 the 2 taco combo(#18) may sound expensive, but the tacos are actually pretty big, so 2 tacos is more food than a burrito. You can probably do Chipotle or Taco Bell for cheaper, but they don't have as good of rice and beans, and Chipotle doesn't have as flexible hours or a drive thru. Oh, and the hot sauce actually has a flavor. read more

Bean and cheese burro is 6.15?! What the.... I can go to chipotle for a dollar more and get a burrito double the size. I remember when Filiberto's was awesome because the burritos were huge and cheap. Now it's just a darn price gouge. I never look at the menu because it's it's just too much, but the beans were cold and cheese unmelted on top of the price gouging, which just adds insult to injury. I've eaten at most of the Filiberto's in Mesa, and this location is by FAR the worst in town. The food here is tremendously bad. I ordered green chili burritos, and they were so overloaded with salt we couldn't eat them. I gave them to the dog, and even the dog wouldn't eat them! Second visit, I ordered a carnitas platter. It came loaded with rice and beans, and almost NO meat. It was such a sad portion of meat, it made me laugh. There won't be a third visit. Thankfully, there's a Señor Taco just down the road at Power and McKellips that has far, FAR superior food. Do yourself a very large favor and give this location a pass. read more

On Tues Sept 4 2018, I worked late and opted to go through the drive through at Filibertos on the SE corner of Power & McDowell. After being handed the wrong order, which I noticed once I had already pulled forward, I pulled my Jeep around and went in. While I was waiting for them to correct my order, I picked up some condiments. Collected my order and went home. I went to put my phone on the charger and realized I had left it at Filibertos. I drove back and asked the same 3 people behind the counter (who spoke perfectly good English) if anyone had turned in a cell phone or if they had found it. The girl behind the counter asked me to repeat what I had said so, I asked once again if they had found a cell phone and she said "NO" I went over to the Shell counter thinking that maybe someone turned it in over there, they looked in a coupe of drawers and said no one had turned it in. Meanwhile, I noticed the "ping" on my Apple Watch was illuminated. Now I'm pinging it and I can hear my phone in the restaurant side. I walked back over and told them, "that's my phone pinging","where's my phone?" I could definitely hear it behind the counter. The girl says "oh, you mean this phone?" Are you kidding me???? All three of the employees said "ohhhh". Almost in unison! The guy in the back was the owner/manager.....As a company, how horrible to be so dishonest! Thank goodness for the pinging feature on my watch. I also sent an email to their corporate, as well as an email. I received crickets in return. They still seem to be having problems with the chef as I walked in on the conversation where the teller was explaining to the cook how to make the chicken. Not a good sign at all. I decided to get the green chile as I typically do, it came out in less than 2 mins (not a good sign at all). Wow the chef had just gone to task with adding salt and making the chicken mushy. Should have believed the old but correct Yelp reviews. Yes this is a Filibertos but it is literally inside the gas station market. They had specials listed on the board by the cash register and I pointed to the Green Chili Burrito special. I paid and stepped aside then saw the drink included in the ad and inquired. The cashier said I needed to order the special to get the drink and the burrito in that special is much smaller. I asked to change to the special and he responded that it was different and not possible, probably since the order was already being worked. Oh well... Fast friendly service and food was good. Carne asada is lean (hate when it's gristley) tortillas are great but We don't like corn taco shells. Rolled tacos are the best and have been for many years. Carne Asada fries were good. Portions were big! Fish tacos were just ok. 5 stars because nothing was horrible and people who give reviews need to remember how low stars can negatively impact a business. For some reason, the cheese was crispy and burned....did they deep fry the whole thing? The cheese inside of the enchilada wasn't even slightly melted. It was just a tortilla with cold shredded cheese and some bitter red sauce. It's less than 2 minutes from my house and open late, so I was hopeful.
