This place is locally famous for its drive through. When freight trains pass by you can hardly hear anything while ordering. The round about the building during peak hours causing a traffic jam only serves as a testament to the local popularity of this Del. Secret Tip: If you are ordering in the drive through, you can usually see the person inside taking your order if you just look left of the menu board watching you from afar. The manager on duty a male had a total attitude IMO and was not about service and I felt like he thought he was above and beyond the average customer . Brenda went out of her way. I'm so glad we went inside to order our to -go order , because if we has stayed in the log drive -thru line that was not moving we would have gotten the manager with an attitude . This was a great Del Taco. We were greeted at the counter by a very friendly woman by the name of Sandra. She was very busy and multitasking so efficiently. We placed our order and stood by waiting for the food to be ready. We were going to Dine in as opposed to carry out. In just a couple of minutes our food was ready and it turned out that there was a small discrepancy in our order. I had ordered three tacos and only received two. She had not heard me correctly. I do tend to speak softly. But without missing a beat she asked the man preparing the food to make me another and apologized for the issue. I handed her my card to pay and she declined saying there was no charge and smiled. We ate outside on the patio under the umbrella as it was a marvelous morning. The quality of the food was better than most Del Tacos. The tacos we stuffed full, with hot and fresh ingredients. Wifey's Spicy chicken burrito (no beans requested) was made correctly and was hot and fresh as well. The ambiance of the restaurant is okay. It was clean and organized. It's an older restaurant and could use a makeover- but what they was taken care of. The beverage station was clean and well stocked with all the beverage needs and even had stocked containers of the different Del Taco Sauces and Ketchup. The perfect amount of eggs, cheese, hot sauce to keep me satiated. We also had a date night here where we indulged in the fish tacos, which were incredible for the price/location. Every once in a long while, I get a craving for fast food hard tacos. Such a long while, in fact, that I have no idea where the closest restaurant is to our house that we've lived in for more than two years. A quick search and I found this Del Taco next door to the tire shop I go to. I guess I've never noticed it, but super convenient. Back in the day, I would order a six pack of hard tacos plus two spicy chicken burritos at Taco Bell. Recognizing that that day is long gone, I ordered exactly half: three hard beef del tacos and a spicy chicken burrito. Service was incredibly fast. I hadn't even finished filling my drink when my name was called. The taco shells were warm and crisp while the cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes were fresh and cool. The beef was hot, tasty, and we'll seasoned. The burrito was similarly well made and tasty. I think what I'm most excited about is the realization that my palate for fast food tacos has matured from Taco Bell to Del Taco. I feel so growed up and bougie! read more

I grew up in the birthplace of Del Taco and none are as good as the locations in my hometown. Having said that, this particular location is a frequent stop for me. Quality and service is not the best it could be, but it is consistent. I usually get a combo burrito with green sauce and put French fries inside....that's my jam, and they do it decent. Drive through is reasonably fast but the turnaround in the lot really sucks if you have a large car or truck. read more

Tonight unfortunately will be the last time we eat at any Del Taco especially this Del Taco. We stopped going to the Del Taco on Lincoln St and Tustin St because of crappie service and crappie food. We switch to this store for two reasons. The food was always prepared great and for the most part the service was good. But there was one guy that stood out and gave great service every time we were lucky to get him and his name is Phillip. Tonight he was working but we didn't get him because he was on his break. I know during the pandemic it's been really tough for restaurants and we my fiancé and I try to support our favorite places to go and this Del Taco is one of them. Well I don't know what the hell happened but during the height of the pandemic we were able to come in and order your food but you couldn't dine-in which that's the way every food place is so that's going to be ok until this pandemic is going to be totally over. Going in placing your order is less of a changes of being wrong. Well now when things are more opened up you can only get your food through the drive thru which now there's more of a chance of screwing up the order which happened to us tonight and the last two times which it's not like them and it happened both times to my fiancé. Tonight we order for food for me and my fiancé and they screwed up on her order majorly. She ordered chili cheese deluxe fries and instead of putting tomatoes on them they put Pico de gallo on them and order two mini cheese quesadilla with green chili sauce on them and what they gave her was two mini chicken quesadilla which she didn't order and can't eat chicken because she gets violently sick. So needless to say she didn't eat anything tonight. On my order I got a beef burrito and it looked like the employees were having fun throwing it around and destroyed it. So needless to say we didn't have a good night at Del Taco and that's really to bad when we try and support this one. Plus the service was not the best either. Did the job I was getting some auto work done at GoodYear next door and needed a place to hang out - it did the job. I just ordered a drink, but did really like this Del Taco. The staff was friendly and didn't seem to mind that I sat there and read the entire time. The restaurant area was surprisingly clean, which really helped with the extended stay. Nothing bugged me, which is unusual. I'll have no problem coming back here. read more

2 days ago my family ordered 20 dollars worth of food from this Del Taco. For some reason, the beans tasted awful. We all noticed and avoided our burritos, which was the majority of our meals.
