I'm not sure I would have ever stumbled across this place if it wasn't for Yelp, but I'm so glad I did! The deli is clean, features Boar's Head, and has ample seating and parking. I was helped right away and was in and out in under 5 minutes. I ordered the Chipotle So Gouda and was really impressed! It had the perfect amount of heat. It was exactly what I was looking for. Sandwiches are pretty big and I enjoyed it. The free pickle they throw in wasn't my favorite so I probably will never get that again. Staff was alright nothing spectacular but friendly enough. I'll be back to try out some other sandwiches since it's the best deli in the area. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try after hearing all the local buzz about it. Went in at 7:55 on a Friday night. They were just about to close. We walked in and were greeted by Norris who was so pleasant and not at all irritated that we were last minute customers. He answered all of our questions and offered many suggestions. We ordered to go and I ordered the Frankie Carbone sandwich and my Boyfriend ordered the Smoked so Gouda sandwich. Both were so delicious and packed with quality meats and cheeses. We ended up switching sandwiches because we wanted to taste both. The deli itself was clean and like I said before Norris was so gracious. We will definitely be back very soon. read more

Awesome place. Original from the east coast, after living in San Diego for more than 14 years I've always wondered why a grommet sandwich shop didn't exist. You find a lot of sandwich places claiming they have the best. But nothing beats a pure Boars Head product. Haven't been here in many months. Had a tuna salad sandwich on rye. The tuna was awesome, the bread was stale. The guy, when I was ordering, asked if I wanted it toasted but never said the bread was hard and stale. My recommendation no rye bread unless toasted. Otherwise the place is really good. read more

So far the best sandwich place in El Cajon. My husband and I were immediately greeted and welcomed in. The sandwiches we're delicious but a little overpriced. They are huge so I recommend just the sandwich and no sides. I am from the east coast and it reminded me of the deli's back home. What an awesome sandwich spot! Deli Belly has a great selection of specialty sandwiches and classics. My personal favorite is the Chipotle So Gouda. It has a little kick from the chipotle mayo and peperoncini but is so yummy. The service is top notch also. I have always been greeted warmly and served promptly. Recently I placed a large order for a weekend party and the manager, Noor, was so helpful. He was patient while helping me decide what to order and very accommodating. I felt that this place was a bit pretentious since I heard such gushing reviews when they first opened but then heard from several friends who visited here that it was "OK".... Well after driving by this place every single day for the past 3 months I finally decided to give it a try. I was very happy to see they offer tortilla wraps for all the sandwich options as I tend to prefer those. I chose the make your own option with Turkey Breast and everything added. It was pretty good and very filling. The young man making my sandwich was very friendly and polite. While this place is miles above subway, it's not exactly a gourmet deli either. read more

RSD needed a gourmet deli badly & we finally have one!! So beautiful & modern!! Love walking into a place that's new...I loved the decor. Their sandwiches were delicious & so fresh!! I hated going into a market & having to park far wait for service it's just not the same. My son goes to Valhalla so it's so close he has become addicted!! I'm visiting my parents for Easter and decided to stop in avoiding Subway which is way too corporate for my taste. I'm very pregnant and wanted a fresh sub and a cold soda; glad I chose to come here. They have something for everyone on the menu in regards to hot/cold, meat variety from Boars Head and delicious sides made in house. I definitely recommend for anyone in Rancho to try. I have been here twice. First time was good. Chili was a little salty for my taste. The second time I ordered for delivery- 2 chili's, 2 sandwiches and a salad.
