    Bouncer at delirium

This man was what I believe to be the bouncer at Delirium. Two stars for the fact this bar supports community expression and the arts - I was here for an amazing rap night. That was great. This dude, was not. Negative one million stars for this grown man who physically TOUCHED me out of nowhere, trying to intimidate me, and shushing me when I was trying to leave the bar and walk to my car. Zero context and zero provocation. I was chatting with my friends as I feel something on my shoulder and it's this guy physically putting his body against mine - not saying anything and there was plenty of room to go around. He then proceeds to stare directly at me as he is PUSHING his body into mine. Never met this guy before in my life. Some might call that assault. He was a complete asshole. And I was not the only woman he was doing this to. Screw this guy and everything he stands for.

Solid little dive bar that gets packed and rambunctious as the night goes on. Sticky tables, torn up seats with decal stickers and movie/celebrity posters on the walls would be more endearing if there wasn't a hint of vomit every now and then. Otherwise, this is a bar with regulars! Bartender was nice and I liked the solid drinks they had given the price. The hot toddy advertisement on the board outside drew me in and was perfect to warm me up and clear my throat. The bf's gin and tonic was strong. There is a pool table and a backroom for dancing. The music was jacked up by the time we left!

Went out here after here before Thanksgiving weekend which was really fun and tons of friends and tons of memories I won't forget! Was drinking ADIOS MF, some tequila shots and they play good music here as well

This is a pretty grungy, dark dive bar so I was out of place reading a book at the bar on a Friday at 2 but I did it anyway! I grabbed a local beer and stayed for just a bit. Seems more fitting as a place to go with a crew late night. Kind of reminds me of bars on 6th street in Austin.

Came on a Thursday night. It was throwback Thursdays so I enjoyed the music. Wasn't too crowded. Got service quickly. Didn't try any food not sure if they serve food.

Came here after a few other bars in the area. I will say that if I had a few more drinks in me this place would have been more fun, but the crowd here is definitely a bit too rowdy and inconsiderate. The place itself is a bit older looking, could use an update. The people working here were nice enough, but the drinks were very much kinda half-heartedly put together. Overall not somewhere on my list to revisit.

This is literally a locals home. Straight San Francisco love in that bar. From the updated jute to the graffiti covered dark walls it just feels like home. This bar knows no color, creed, or denomination and I've personally witnessed this time and time again. Atmosphere: dark, lazy, and wooden. Doesn't sound like much but to a person getting off a 12 hour shift and wants to see familiar faces, this place is great. Plenty of seating and even a back room for dancing. There is also a pool table but what sucks is you have to pay to play. I understand they want to make money but I'm already paying money for drinks... this is a good tactic though to keep the "bar sleepers" out. I didn't check out the video games but the machines were still there. Staff was nice but a little slow to make the drinks. Then announced she had to walk the bars resident dog. Gross. Will I come back? I always do. Even with 3 stars I keep coming to see the people I've known for years and to meet new ones.

For sure one of the best dives around. Right slabbed amongst the super gentrified Valencia st, delirium feels like home and a diamond in the rough, what a bar should be in every sense. No frills, cheap drinks, nice layout and friendly staff, bartenders and security included. For sure has some characters every now and then (myself included) but that's apart of the charm and I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy hour is a steal in an otherwise pricey neighborhood and music is just right. Can't wait again for dj nights in the back post pandemic

Such a fun dive bar and they have a small dance floor!!! There is a $5 cover during the weekend I believe and most of the drinks are strong.

I'll pass on this bar. Forever. The "dance room" has really poor ventilation and is really just kind of gross.

Friendly atmosphere. Randomly spied a bicycle and a dog on a leash inside. A little crowded, but good vibes for sure.

You can bitch about it being hot and sticky and sweaty and packed but that's exactly why you go there in the first place.

I stopped by around 4:30 p.m. and there were a few tables where I saw folks finishing up their work day on their laptops with a beer. It's neither overly crowded, nor overly loud, which is perfect for getting work done. Since it was the World Cup and many guests would be camping out for the entire match, table service has a per person minimum spend of $25. This is a really a non-issue because a cocktail is around $15, so two drinks, or one drink with some food, will easily hit this minimum. My wife and I shared crispy pork schnitzel ($17) and an order of their deviled eggs ($12). The deviled eggs were nicely seasoned and included a small salad shrimp on top for some variety. The pork schnitzel was perfectly fried and the potatoes in the included side-salad was well-cooked and not over dressed. I would recommend enjoying the schnitzel with some mustard. Both drinks that I ordered -- an Old Fashioned and a Boulvardier, were well prepared. No notes here. Service here was top notch. Throughout our stay, our server checked up on us multiple times and we never had to wait long to place another order for drinks. Tipping options on the receipt include pre-calculated 18%, 20%, and 22% options (on top of the 5% SF Mandate). Last but not least, the restaurant had clean bathrooms and a bunch of large TV screens on every wall. If you're looking to watch a sports match, Sam's Tavern is the place to go!
