I overall enjoyed my meal here. We shared a pizza between our large group as an appetizer, and I thought the flavor and crust were very good. My husband and I shared the bolognese pasta for dinner, which was very expensive considering the price. I'm normally a fan of small portions, but almost $30 for the amount of pasta we got seemed overpriced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is cute, and our service was good, but nothing outstanding.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would come back as I did enjoy the food.

Fabulous food, extremely high quality, fresh, and you can tell they make it in house. I had the pizza which was fabulous and the lemon cake- delicious. Service was very attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere is cozy and cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Must stop if you're in the area! Also very celiac friendly (excluding pizza).

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped in to get something to eat, but the signage outside made the experience confusing. Is it Della Porta? Or Blue Bear? Or another name?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We bellied up to the bar and ordered some pizzas to go. I had a tasty cocktail while we waited, but not enough to drink to overcome the disappointing pizza. The crust just didn't hold up to the ingredients, and there weren't that many of them. For the price paid, not worth it IMO.

We went for a ramen night. Top notch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Kids even loved it!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great flavor. Solid portion sizes. Appetizers were great as well. Will check out the place again for their other offerings

Food to die for. By day, this restaurant is the Blue Bear Ellison Bay, by night Della Porta. Whether you come here for breakfast during the day or authentic Italian food by night, you will not be disappointed. Though I've posted less reviews over the years, this restaurant is worth honorable mention...food 10, service 10, overall dining experience 10.

Delicious! But pricey. Drinks beautifully presented. We had the mussels appetizer (sauce to die for!) Could have used another piece of wonderful crunchy bread to soak up all that goodness. The star shaped pizza was a novelty and easily one of the best pizzas I've had (and I've had a lot!). One of our party had the chicken which was good, not outstanding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was fun to eat outside on a late summer day, I loved the huge flower pots, but sitting so close to the road and parking lot might not be for everyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and knowledgeable. All in all I'd say for the price I wish they'd add something more - salad or veggies for the table? Free tiny amuse bouche or dessert?

Food was adequate though overpriced. The big issue was the large number of flies inside the restaurant. Very unpleasant.

I had one of the best dirty martinis to start things off. The bartender was so knowledgeable and helpful, made great recommendations with the menu. Slow service & unapologetic staff. Skip it…read more Was seated 15+ minutes after our reservation, even though there seemed to be adequate staffing and many open tables. Food was good, bartender (ahead of being seated) was great, atmosphere was good. Service was SLOW and inattentive. There were multiple times where we waited 10-20 minutes with no food or drink in front of us. No one ever followed up for additional drink orders outside of the first. After about 1 hour & 10 minutes, I flagged down a bus boy and asked them to find out why we still hadn't gotten the main course. They said we were behind a big table and it should be about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later I flagged down my waiter and asked what was up. I was told that it was my fault for asking for our focaccia, appetizer, and main course to be spaced out. (the only options that were given were to have all items at once or spaced out) At this point I asked for a manager. The manager (owner) came out hot, acting like the soup guy from Seinfeld. He had the waiter repeat what she told to me earlier and when I tried to interject, told me to stop and listen to her. I reiterated that at this point we'd been there for over an hour after being seated (late) (also at this point it was almost and hour and a half since being seated) and that it was unacceptable to still not have been served the main course, whatever their excuse was. There were at least 3 servers, and not over 20 tables in the entire place. Instead of offering anything at all to make up for it, acknowledging any of the issues, or least of all apologizing, the owner told the waiter to "get us out of here". The waiter wound up bringing the entree in a bag and the check (including the entree) to us. I had to demand I wasn't, at all, paying for the entree in order to get it removed from the bill. (I left it on the table) The bottom line is that, the entree could've been the tastiest dish in the world, but this place doesn't deserve your patronage.

We visited Inland at the recommendation of a colleague--and we were not sorry! In the past, we…read morealways visited a different local pizza place (not in Bailey's Harbor), but we need a change--and this was a really great change! They do not take reservations, but since we were there a full week before the 4th, we were able to get a table pretty quickly--even on a Saturday night. They have seating both outside and in--but it was chilly, so we sat inside. The dining room is light and bright, and one can see the water, though, it is an obstructed view--and really, were were there for the pizza. We first ordered the Simple Salad. The salad is really simple, but oh.my.god--the lemon parm dressing was SO GOOD--and I'm not so much a throw-a-ton-of-dressing-on-my-salad kind of person. We had leftover dressing and we took it back to cottage where we stay ("home" for the week). Our server also wrote down the ingredients so I can try and replicate it at home (the actual place where we live). We ordered the organic red sauce + mozzarella pizza and added roasted oyster mushrooms on half and castelvetrano olives on the whole thing. I mention this only because they didn't blink at all with our requests. In fact, they were great about that sort of thing. The first glass wine my server suggested I order, I didn't care for. She just got me a different glass of wine--and that was what we were charged for. More about that pizza--it was SO good. The olives added a nice salt, mushrooms were just perfect in that they provided that sort of meaty, non-meaty taste. Oh, and the crust--good god it was good. Not too thick or thin, dusted a bit with cornmeal on the bottom, light, but good chew. It was just perfect. Oh, and the water dispenser--on the bar, one serves themselves from a tap. They have three different kinds of water--still, sparkling, and one other that I cannot remember. Love that. The services was also, as I mention above, really attentive, but not pushy at all. I only have one suggestion for them. Many of the pizzas have sausage on them. We don't eat pork (not kosher, just appreciate the fact that they're smarter than the dog). It would be nice to have chicken as an option. We definitely visit them again when we're in Door Country again.

I visited this past weekend over the 4th and unfortunately had a really concerning experience with…read morewhat was supposed to be a gluten-free meal. I ordered the gluten-free Rosso pizza and specifically confirmed with my server that I was gluten free. At one point, the kitchen initially brought over my pizza, and when I double checked, they told me it was NOT gluten free. Their team then took it back to the kitchen to remake with a gluten free crust. After that, my dad and fiancé received their regular pizzas while mine took another 30 or so minutes to come out. They eventually stopped eating so I wouldn't have to eat my food alone, and by then their food was cold. There were also several other order issues during the meal, including the wrong salad being brought to our table after another long wait, which is not a huge deal (it was a holiday weekend and they were busy) but it felt like our entire order was miscommunicated. What led me to write this review is I'm quite certain that the "gluten-free" pizza I was ultimately served was not actually gluten free. For the next few days after eating it, I became very sick with symptoms consistent with gluten exposure, and it honestly impacted the remainder of my time in door county. What especially raised concern for me was that our server later sent us home with another gluten-free Rosso pizza as an apology for the wait times and order mix ups, and it looked dramatically different from the pizza I had just been served. The crust, texture, and overall appearance were completely different, which made me increasingly worried I had been served the wrong order. The "gluten free" pizza I had been served (in the image attached) looks identical to my dad's regular pizza (plate behind it) and nothing like the other GF pizza crusts in the reviews. I did notice this when our server finally brought over my pizza however she did confirm it was gluten-free. I understand restaurants get busy especially over holidays and mistakes happen, and I'm not trying to be harsh or accusatory. But for customers with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, this is a serious health issue, not a preference. I really hope the restaurant takes a closer look at its gluten-free procedures and communication between the kitchen and servers, because this experience was really disappointing. Inland also does not have an email posted on their website nor can you leave a message when calling, when I tried to discuss with them directly.
