This dealership has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had taken multiple cars there over the years, but my very last experience was by far the worst. I have since switched to Concord Chevrolet, they get 5 stars from me. The salesman are pushy and condescending to say the least. As far as the service side goes, they are absolutely horrible. Where do I begin!? They never return phone calls unless you to harass them to do so, atleast with the two service writers I dealt with. The service manager is an asshole and very condescending. I brought my car in for a recall on the airbag and they supposedly fixed the issue. When I went to pick the car up, they did not know where my keys or the paperwork was, although I have left a voicemail and told service to leave my paperwork and keys at the front reception. I was told I would have to come back in morning to get my car and I said that was unacceptable. He said maybe they put them in the car, so we went to check and the car was locked. I advised the salesman helping me that I was calling OnStar to unlock my car, of course he had no idea that OnStar could do that, he works for Chevy and does not know his own product/service...wonderful! So, I found the keys and paperwork locked inside under the seat, great. When I started the car, the airbag light came on and stayed on. I called the next day multiple times and finally got ahold of my advisor and he said give it a few days, I waited a week or two and it never went out. I called a few times and never got a call back. A couple of months rolled around and I took it in to have it fixed or looked at. They said there was a service charge to look at it and I tried explaining to the advisor and service manager that this was an issue they were supposed to have fixed and they didn't. The airbag light was not on when I brought it in and was on after I got the car back. They charged me $140 to tell me that the airbag PCM was bad and it needed to be replaced and that it would cost me about a grand. Its obvious that whatever they did in the airbag programming that they cause the PCM or sensor to fail and expected me to pay for their mistake. The manager stated quote "my guys need to get paid, how are we to know that this issue wasn't caused by you?" The service writer said it was my fault for waiting too long to bring it back, although I called several times trying to get ahold of him and to schedule an appointment. These guys are dishonest and shady and i'm not the only one who has said this. I spoken to a dozen people that have actually said worse about this dealership. I actually spoke to a guy who used to work with the service manager who confirmed that he is generally an asshole and could care less about his customers. Hasn't anybody noticed that Kevin Peters has only responded or commented on the positive reviews? How about addressing the negative reviews and solving some issues to try to salvage your customers or make good on some of the mistakes your dealership has made? Just goes to show you what you are dealing with. read more

I purchased a used GMC two years ago from Winter. At the time I purchased a two year warranty and something called dent pro. I changed my mind and called the dealer to find out what I must do. I was told to bring the contracts in and that they would be cancelled but payment would take several months. Fast forward a year later and I discovered that not only was there no refund but the finance guy told me it was cancelled with the wrong company!! Now they have refused to honor the original agreement to reimburse me by only paying half. Now the manager Kevin Peters refused to return my calls regarding this matter. Now what? What do I have to do to get my calls returned? I believe I am getting screwed for their incompetence. read more

I can't speak to the sales department, but the Chevy service department is awful. They tried to over-charge us on parts, and after close to $4000 was spent, they didn't even wash the car and the tech had left garbage in the back seat. Additionally, they tried to get us to agree to work that didn't need to be done. When my husband told them no, they called me and tried to get me to do it. Every other Chevy shop I've used has brought the car back to me after washing it, even if it was just an oil change. I would give them 1 star, but they were fast-ish, so I'm giving them 2. We are now in the market for a second car, but will not be shopping here because of the service department. read more

When you go to get in your Escalade and realize your keys are missing, there's not a worse feeling. No one in the area could do anything for me in the sense of getting me a new key for less than a week. I can't go a week without a car, so I called Winter Chevrolet and talked to Mike Boldischar and he said to just get the vehicle towed in and he would have my car done by the following day. So I was car shopping for a specific car color, turns out this Chevy dealer was the only one in the Bay Area and Central Valley that had the one I wanted, so I contacted the sales manager, we agreed to a fair price , I told him I would go check the car out on the weekend, when I get there he comes out and tells me that he sold it, I drove about 40 min to see it, we even agreed to a time about an hour before I went out there, looks like he was just leading me on in case the other deal didn't happen, turns out he was dealing with another customer at the same time, all good , it's is a business , but at least a call to let me know that it was sold would of been nice, even when I was there, if he would of asked me to maybe order the car I wanted I would have done so, I was ready to buy, but he just came out, shook my hand, told me he sold it, and didn't seem too interested in my business, not very customer friendly. Next day I went to Tracy Chevrolet , and they are getting me the car I wanted from another dealer. read more

Worse customer service from the service department. Even the manager is rude and stated that she would bend backwards to fix something if I (customer) was nice about it. So after they screwed up and I had my garage full of oil and when my car was taken back for them to fix, the service guy lied about what was wrong and made it seem it was due to a missing part needed instead of saying they screwed the cap on wrong and broke it. So as that is getting fix, another mechanic put his hands full of grease on the roof of my car and stained the cloth. No one noticed it or mentioned it and when we called back regarding the stains they ask if we did it. Seriously? They provided us with a free oil change because of this, but when we dropped off the car the service person was asking WHY Are we were getting a free oil change instead of looking at the notes. He had an attitude and sounded like he was questioning it or suggested we were lying. As my husband told him to ask the manager the service person said well the manager isn't here so I need to know why? When I picked up my car the manager said she had a problem with my husbands attitude towards the service person since she heard the conversation, I'm confused didn't the service guy say "the manager was out". This place is in need of some serious customer service training. So now I'm supposed to be nice after they make mistakes in order to get my car fixed correctly! Or better yet, the manager ask why we bring our car here if they always make mistakes. So I'm supposed to drive an additional 30 miles instead of them fixing the problem when it comes to the service department? Where did the manager buy her business degree? I bought a car a year + ago from this dealership and it was a complete lemon. I fought and fought to get the problems fixed, but nothing was ever resolved, so I went through GM and they repurchased the car. I went back in to the dealership with all of the information I needed to get a wicked good deal on the car I needed to buy to replace the lemon. They were helpful and apologetic for the drama that I went through with the lemon, and since I had done my research, I got an amazingly good deal on a beautiful and brand new Chevy Cruze Eco. I LOVE this car! It rides like a luxury car, there is no road noise, it has a ton of features and it is mechanically sound and great on gas! I definitely would recommend the Chevy Cruze for anyone who is looking for an affordable yet luxurious car that holds the road like a champ. My most recent interaction with this dealership was good and the staff was helpful. My advice to anyone purchasing a car is to do your research and know what you want and what you want to pay. If you know what you're doing, you will get the deal you want with payments you can afford. Also, check the reviews on the car you're looking to buy. This has to be the worst place to have your vehicle worked on. I brought my truck in for a oil change that I had appointment for 9am. I did arrive early there was also a another customer that also had a appointment for a oil change at the same time. About a hour later a service team member comes and tells the other costumer that her vehicle is done put also recommended her to have some other repairs done while she was there. I though they would be call me next. After another 15mins goes by I go see my service adviser she tells me the technician is just putting on the sticker and my vehicle will be right out another half hour goes by. I Than go see the service manger regarding my situation the next thing I knew here comes my truck. It's a shame it takes a manger to get things done. I than told my service member you shouldn't lie to a customer when they ask about there vehicle. read more

A few years back I reviewed the service we received on our GMC Denali. Long story short they confused their records our 2003 GMC with our 2004 GMC Truck.....fast forward a couple of years. Needed service work done at the dealership. That part went fine - but we also wanted them to find the origin of the small oil leak while it was on the rack. The mechanic Julio Gonzalez stated: "Due to mileage engine replacement for engine oil leaks might be the optimal choice". What a joke - the Denali runs perfect -doesn't burn oil - just leaks a bit.... it's probably a seal. We will have it repaired elsewhere... read more

Bought my traverse at Dublin Chevrolet, got home to find my keyless remote didn't work and only way to get into my car was by regular key - that set off the alarm every time. We worked with Malinda Sanchez she was amazing very helpful she is definitely the kind of salesperson you want when buying a car especially if you feel intimidated by the whole car buying buisness she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The only and literally the only thing I could and will say bad is that the AC in the building was broken and it was pretty hot in the building especially in the sales offices. Positive update Part of any dispute resolution is to give them a chance to 'make it right' and they did. Fixed the alignment, fixed the radio, cooling system is functional. Let me start at the beginning.... I called and made an appointment for today over a week ago. A few days ago I had a few questions before I brought my car in so I called and called and called and called and no one ever answered the phone or returned my calls. Finally I had to call someone in the sales department to connect me to the service department to get any of my questions answered. I bring my car in, explain the issues and go on my way, thinking everything would be okay. After several phone calls, I am told that they can't figure out the issue with my check engine light and service traction control light in the allotted hour and a half, which was already $225, and if I wanted them to keep searching for the issue, it would cost me an ADDITIONAL $225 to keep looking. I was told though if they didn't find anything, I could have them keep looking (for more money) but would be out all of the money for diagnostics if nothing was ever found. The lock cylinder issue, which was really just a side issue and not the reason I brought it in, could be fixed but would cost me $410. I told them to stop looking and I wouldn't be fixing the lock cylinder, BUT I STILL OWE THEM $225 FOR NOTHING BEING DONE TO MY CAR!!!! I am frustrated with the lack of customer service and the service departments inability to work with a customer. Although it may be frustrating for them to look for an issue and it not be easy to find, its not my fault if it takes longer than an hour to find an issue and I should not be charged more and more money for nothing being done. I will never take my Chevy here again and strongly discourage your from doing the same! Now I know why car dealerships get such a bad rap, I feel ripped off and have gained nothing from it. read more
