This is a pretty nice airport lounge. The size is large and there is enough space to spread out. It has a very modern design and an open concept. The bar is really nice. It's a full-size bar with 2 full-time bartenders. The food was absolutely delicious. I had roasted chicken with fig, steamed Brussel sprouts, penne ala vodka, and butternut squash soup. Compared to the other food in this terminal, this is top-notch I will be arriving at the airport extra early to make sure I can come back. read more

UPDATE, THIS LOUNGE IS NOT CLOSED AS OF AUGUST 18th 2021 Had a flight out to Chicago & of course I had to stop & see how the JFK Delta Sky lounge compares to the other ones that I've been to. I got there 1 hour before my flight boards just to find out that my sky lounge membership had expired, how $&@€₩*% embarrassing lmaoooo, luckily I just renewed it & entered the lounge. The woman at the front was very helpful & not judgemental at all I walked in and noticed it was pretty similar to the laguardia airport sky lounge. The drinks are always the same & the lounge was pretty spacious with 2 main areas. On the buffet was different soups with some sort of pasta & meatballs which were delicious. There was also fresh fruit, coffee, yogurt etc but I had no interest in any of that. I went straight to the bar you ALREADY know!!! I started off with a basic rum & coke & let me tell you something right now........... It was more rum than coke & that's EXACTLY how I like it so this bartender easily deserved a tip bwahahaha. That got my morning started & then I saw the paid drinks. Now clearly everything is better when it's free but that peanut butter old fashioned was CALLING my name!!! I paid the 600 miles & ordered this drink & maaaannnn was it worth it. If you don't mind spending a little cash or miles PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get this over the regular old fashioned. I liked the regular don't get me wrong but that peanut butter just hits DIFFERENT ohhhh mannnn. Good Tomato Soup. This terminal (Terminal 2) in general feels very dated and even the Skyclub lounge is showing it's general age and wear and tear. Bathrooms are not very nice very dated and not the cleanest but they do have showers available here although some are out of service. The option of an airport shower is always a bit plus in my book when it comes to rating lounges. They appear to have no designated work stations here like at some of the other Delta Skyclubs in the US but it was quiet in here decent place to get some work done regardless and they have their own wifi. read more

Walked in, present my travel pass and Amex Platinum card, the and lady were very welcoming, chatting with me a little bit and about my travel to West Africa. Though they were a lot of people at the lounge. I would say it was overcrowded as there were a lot of seats and the place is pretty big. I didn't have to wait in line to get in at all, maybe because I had a late 11:00 PM flight and arrived around 9:00 PM. They selection of food were pretty though I have seen reviews state there are not a lot of selection which was true, I also didn't expect every as it's a lounge and not a restaurant. I was okay with the choice they had. The bathrooms were very clean. They do have complimentary alcoholic beverages on the house and other options you may pay for or use your points. 4 Stars for a large lounge with typical light food, a complimentary bar, and plenty of seating. I've been to this DSC a few times recently when traveling through Terminal 2 at JFK. It is located right above the Wendy's after security. The terminal itself is quite dated and cramped at each gate, but the lounge is really large. It doesn't look large when you first walk in, but around every corner is another large area for lounging. Apparently they also have showers, but I've never used them. The bathrooms are clean and I really appreciate that the staff is constantly walking the are to make sure to clear plates and cups that have been left behind. The last time I was there the lounge was slammed, yet we were still able to find spots. The food is basic- Cold bites with a soup option. I'm not complaining though, as I don't expect a big meal here. I like the fact that they have fruit infused water dispensers. It adds a nice touch. The one thing I'd want them to fix is to change the cushions on the chairs. I can't imagine how many visitors they get every day, but the cushions give me an idea... They are deflated and filthy. Though the furniture is fun and styled nicely, this just makes sitting in them feel icky. It doesn't help that folks put their feet up constantly, but they should probably be changing these cushions on some kind of regular basis, because they are really worn. Other than that, a good lounge I imagine I'll be visiting again and again. read more

Well for starters unlimited drinks. At the airport where a well vodka soda is $12 spending $29 is a steal. It gets crowded but it's still a private oasis away from the chaos of JFK. Delta has two clubs at JFK. This is the one that doesn't have the Sky Deck. Terminal 2 is in need of a bulldozering, but until then, here's the spot to get a drink and a snack and spend some time away from the riffraff and noise of the rest of the terminal if you choose. There is a large central space that is much quieter but the club has an "outside patio" that is still inside the terminal but overlooks the regular gate areas. So if you want a little bit of noise, this is a good choice. Lots of seating and many different variations. Most of them have power outlets nearby. The best part of any Sky Club are the Club Angels who are there to help with travel troubles and can do things that the regular gate agents might not be able to do. Enjoy your time here! It's the only good thing at JFK/T2. read more

Lots of space. More than Centurion @ LGA Term 1, but not all drinks are free of charge. Also, you have to line up at a specific place to place an order with the bartender at this location, they do not come to you. The food selection is definitely a few notched below Centurion as well. However, lots of outlets and setting options. Very spread out. They also have sports on tv and soft music above that is not distracting. Think it's French, which I like. Spending time here is comfortable, but it's not a Centurion. read more

It's maybe the biggest airPort lounge I've seen, with lots of seating all spread around, which is nice. The food was meh. The drinks at Delta lounges are okay, basic wine and a couple of beer options, and hard liquor, but no mixed drinks, so I prefer AmEx lounges. When I was there, they had some mediocre looking salad items, humus and some veggies and little pitas, chicken thighs and rice, and some soups that didn't thrill me--minestrone and chicken tortilla, but I don't get why they can't have something straightforward like chicken noodle, or something filling like the pho or miso soup that lounges sometimes have. I tried the kale salad but it had a weird, sort of fishy taste. The hummus as somehow pretty tasteless. The espresso machines, at least the two I saw, had signs on them saying they weren't working, and that's my favorite part of an airport lounge, so that was disappointing. Any airline club is better than the pandemonium which reigns at the gates in most airports; this is even more true at JFK's Delta Terminal 2 which is the most congested and outdated terminal I've had the displeasure to fly in and out of for the last two years. So, thank you for the peace and quiet (as long as there are no Aussies on holiday) Delta Sky Club! The well booze is free, the wasabi peas in the snack mix zingy, and the service is welcoming. Don't pay to come to this club, but if you're a member already through status or what not, definitely take advantage of this mini, remodeled oasis. The atmosphere may remind you of your white collar office ghetto, especially with all the people still working on their electronic devices and yammering secretively away on their phones. I however am relaxing by writing a Yelp review on my electronic device, but maybe I look like a master of the universe too and maybe they're just wondering "Who is that man typing furiously away on his phone...should I sell or buy?" The place is very clean, much more quiet, and just as comfortable as the larger sky club in terminal 4. I don't fly Delta very often, but one of my credit cards grants free access to the Sky Club if you are flying Delta. This club is located in Terminal 2 where you will find a lot of the Delta Connect (small regional jets) flights. The front desk staff was cheerful and I quickly headed in to the club. These clubs, regardless of airline, can be hit or miss. Some are huge, with lots of amenities and free booze and some can be small, run down and look like a run-down hotel lobby. This Sky Club was on the small side, but had a modern bar area where they had coffee and water and a small spread of bagels, etc. There was another area where you could spread out on comfy chairs, read magazines or watch TV. The club is kept very clean with roving staff constantly picking up after the revolving door of people that come and go. The real plus for these airline clubs is that they have their own bathrooms, eliminating the need to use the "public" ones in the terminal. This location did a good job keeping the bathrooms very clean. This club may be on the small side, and a bit sparse in terms of amenities, but it does the job quite well for the short-haul regional jet crowd. read more

The Delta Sky Club is okay in the US, but if they have Centurion Lounge in the airport, I will pass on Delta Lounge every time. Delta Lounge has some various snack food and maybe bagels, oatmeal or other similar food. They do have some various free cocktails, but you pay a high price for top shelf liquor. read more

Although there are super friendly and alert people who work here, i was disappointed with this spacious yet lacking club. There were no eggs, not even hard-boiled, much less hot breakfast like the other (even smaller) clubs have. The gate information board was out of order as was the espresso machine. Don't get me wring, I am grateful for the freshness of what is available and the cleanliness of the place, but I guess i got used to the value of a hot breakfast at 7am. Also, although there are lots of seats, i don't see many outlets. I have to stand at the high top counter for that or sit while my feet dangle. I am an Amex Platinum cats holder so I come complimentary (included in the annual fee). The employees are very nice, there are no complaints in that department, but the food is very basic and they charge for champagne and special spirits. I am a frequent traveler, so I visit a lot of lounges and this is the ONLY lounge that's does this. Only as in Delta, I've been to one in Salt Lake City and it was the same issue. With the Amex Centurion lounge and Priority Pass lounges you can bring one or two person complimentary. Not with Delta, that's why I always prefer to go to a different lounge. I've been to this lounge twice this year. For breakfast there's boiled eggs, bagels, breads, spreads, etc. light stuff, no bacon or eggs. Along with tea, coffee, juices and hot chocolate. For lunch there's salads, veggies, soup and cold chicken for the salad. Not many options. For a prestigious name like Delta I just expect more. read more

If your hungry, don't expect to have what they are serving as a meal. Its more for a filler. The service at the bar is limited, but it is friendly. If you have a perk to come in, or paid to get in, there is a small selection of drinks that are complimentary, and the rest are for a fee. We found great places to crash and relax for our last and agonizing leg...2hrs on the tarmac in cue...the only time I have ever been "22nd for take-off" As for the Sky Club, its great...better than most...Delta is increasing their presence in NYC and now the largest carrier in and out of NYC and JFK for sure...look for this to get even better! read more

I was heading out of town and decided to pop into the delta sky lounge. I believe it's $40 without a delta card, $29 for using your gold card and $0 if you have the platinum card. The lounge is very spacious and clean . The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is additional seating in a back room along with the restrooms and showers. There is a buffet style setup with soup, salad, dips, chips, pretzels and cookies. The bar provides complimentary beer and certain alcoholic beverages. There are a couple of tv's setup with the subtitles on for entertainment. When we arrived around 11am the place was basically empty and upon our departure around 1pm the number of individuals increased. It's a cool place to go and relax before your flight away from the crowds. I guess you have to decide if it's worth it for you depending on your card type and time before boarding. read more

One of the ladies told me that she was instructed the pretzel with hummus and yogurt were gluten free choices. You have several option to pay to join the Delta Sky Club, paying $29.00 per guest and per visit, One-Year Rate: of ($450.00 or 70,000 miles) or One year rate paying $39.99 each months. The staff are all over the place keeping the tables and floor clean and assisting all the patrons and refilling the buffet. The bartender are nice and fast with good option and knowledge drinks. They have comfortable seating and several TV. The hours that this club is open for the public is from 5AM - 12AM, in the terminal 5, they also have showers to the delta customers. Although it's still a major disappointment for a city like New York to have a sky club like this in the city's main airport, I won't say that it's all bad news. The food is fresh, particularly the vegetables such as carrots and celery. There were a couple good salads, such as zesty chickpea and Greek. Chicken tortilla soup was decent, although they majorly skimped out on actually putting chicken in there. Not much food selection otherwise. Tea selection is pretty good. Where they do shine is the staff, who are very nice, quick and accommodating. Although paying for a sky club like this would be a colossal waste of money, if you have status or first class international tickets, it's a good alternative to sitting at airport restaurants. Design wise, it's clearly been renovated with new furniture. However, it does still feel very cramped with low ceilings and a lack of good runway views. I understand it's hard to turn a building this old into something decent, so they've done an ok job. read more

People are everywhere on the sofa beds, chairs, recliners sleeping or reading, at the bar tables checking their emails or writing one, at the kitchen tables enjoying their breakfast and of corse 99% of them on the cell phones. It's spotless here, roomy and pretty quite. Bathroom is clean as well and spacious. But the best part of Sky Club is a Starbucks station. A huge self program machine making you any type of coffee of latte you prefer and it's delicious Here I'm thinking why do we need barista any longer, and why we don't have this gigantic machines-robots by now, all orders would be coming perfect, no screw ups no upset customers, no sick days or any other excuses on barista part, robots don't have a sore throat or finals in collage and this way all lines can be eliminated by having just enough "personal", serving you. read more

I've been coming to this Sky Club--formerly Crown Room--location for YEARS. Overall, pretty reliable but it definitely gets busy! Typically you see a lot of business travelers but on the weekends families abound. WiFi connectivity has gotten *much* better and I always head straight to the back cubicles and away from the TVs/foot traffic. The customer service is 'alright' when you are only checking in with no issues/changes. When you have travel issues they are the TRUTH!!!! Forget all that chaos at the gate--the minute I know something has gone wrong, I head directly to the Sky Club and they straighten it out. Every. time. They still have complementary drinks/snacks but they just rolled out a 'top shelf' menu that cost $$$. ---I stick with the comps! I am the 99%!----as well as a dinner menu. Snacks are kinda bogus now in the evening, but they do have bagels and oatmeal in the morning! It's very outdated, but easy enough to navigate.. AKA I walk right through security and start frantically searching for DSC signs.
