Visited club in the morning. Very spacious, nicely appointed, with a large variety of comfortable seating options. Good food, good number of breakfast items. Good coffee with many machines spread out.

Sunrise over Manhattan skyline - through the club lounge's window :-)

With an early morning flight and two free passes, my husband and I got to enjoy this renovated, clean, spacious and all in all very nice club lounge that allowed us to watch the sun rise from behind the Manhattan skyline, a truly mesmerizing and memorable experience! There were plenty of seating and plenty of friendly service staff. I take one star off because their breakfast offering didn't match the level of luxury that the furnishing and ambience, together with the coffee station and liquor bar, gave off. For a cold winter morning, one would like to enjoy more (preferably hot) options - esp. for this dairy intolerant vegetarian - than just curdy scrambled eggs, sliced tomatoes and limp toasts. The rolling toaster was super slow. A 4-slice normal toaster would have done a more efficient job. A couple more vegetables, salad or roasted, would have satisfied both herbivores and carnivores :-).

I was here last year in May 2024. At that time I rated the club 5 stars. I returned here again in June 2025 for my roundtrip non-stop international United flights to and from Barcelona, Spain. My account allows me and up to two guests or a total of 3 people for complimentary entry. This time I was here with my two friends, therefore I had to pay $59 for my second guest friend to enter the club. This time I was very disappointed with the very crowded club, which had many seating chairs and sofas with cracked seating materials, which appear to be an inferior Imitation leather or plastic material. The food and service appeared to be of the same quality as last year in 2024. Anyway I enjoyed my three proseccos. I downgraded this club rating from 5 stars down to only 3 stars, because I feel the club is not representative of what United's Club was last year in 2024. Also I can not understand why these visible problems were not rectified over the past year since my last visit in May 2024. I feel this is a result of poor club management. And yet United Airlines has informed me that they will increase my annual United Club fee significantly by my club renewal in October. I will investigate if I should renew my United Airline club membership. I used to be a Delta Club member, therefore I will investigate my former Delta Club membership. I will also investigate American, AMEX and Capitol One. It might be time for me to change my loyalty membership program back to Delta, American, AMEX or Capitol One? I was happy with my Delta Club program for the past many years, but I decided to consolidate with my sole United Club about 10 years ago. Now might be a good time for me to reconsider my airline club priorities and membership. I will discuss with my many other frequent business travelers regarding their recent club experiences in New York City/New Jersey and other nearby states. I moved from New Jersey to Delaware, therefore I also travel via PHL, BWI, DCA and IAD. More to come regarding my club membership. I am not happy because Newark EWR was my primary airport for many decades when I lived in Bergen County. I now live in Delaware so I have more alternative choices. More to come regarding my trip to Barcelona.

Last year, I was absolutely underwhelmed by the United Club that was being used whilst the new club was under construction. The food choices were poor and there was no full bar and one had to exit the club to use men's and women's facilities. This year, I used the new United Club, near Gate C123, I believe, and was very impressed with its spaciousness, array of food choices, full bar. The men and women facilities were onsight which was a relief, no pun intended. I had a 5 hour layover until my flight to Madrid and it was a great retreat. The day pass of US$59.00 was well worth it. I was well fed, quenched, and rested by the time it was to board my flight. I have been to other United Clubs and this one has become one of my favourites.

Great food, great view, lots of seating area. Stuck here five hours and didn't even notice the time fly by. This one by C123 is much better than the others.

I often don't have.time to use the lounges but this time I didn't have connecting flights to run to and just wanted to rest after checking in and before boarding. I was greeted politely at the front desk and then went through. The first part of the lounge in C terminal at Newark NJ is more of a lobby, with a bowl of fruit to grab on the way out or a cup of tea or coffee on the way in. Once you pass the seating area, you come I. The back where the buffet line is along with more seating, showers, workstations, etc. It was very basic food, but I appreciate quiet, natural light and seating where I don't have to be close to people. So it was well worth the visit.

This United Club in Newark is quite pleasant. The Club is large, spacious, and clean. They have a nice bar and extensive buffet. The chairs are comfy and plentiful, however it did fill up. Shower facilities were adequate, but mine was out of body wash. Be advised that United has yet to complete construction of a Club in the new Terminal A. That would have been nice to know.

This is an XXL United Club in Terminal C upstairs from gate 130 in Newark. It has a different decor unlike most other United Clubs and looks like it was renovated not too long ago. This club has more services than most.... showers, coffee bar, sandwich station, hot food bar, and XXL cocktail bar with good TVs . It also has a ton of chairs and desks. This is one of United's busiest US and international hubs and this club reflects that. They have Polaris club nearby that is on a whole different level if you have international biz class ticket. As a side note, I have noticed big improvements at Newark airport in last few years. Previously, it was sketchy as squatters lived in the terminal outside security and it was dirty. Not so anymore. Good job airport administration for cleaning this up. Traffic is still insane and needs more police or trained airport employees directing.

This was such a pleasant surprise to be in the totally refurbished united Club room. We waited years for this and it finally got done. So happy we were able to experience it while waiting for our flight. There are many rooms to sit and relax. The eating area is outstanding. They offered a wide variety of breakfast foods: scrambled eggs, 2 varieties of oatmeal, fruit, danish, donuts, various bread options, cheese, beverages including juices, coffee of every type etc. This was impressive. Bathrooms were updated and modern. Everything was super clean.

Im surprised by the low average rating because I had a great experience at this new, spacious and clean lounge! I came from an 9+ hour flight from Barcelona, and had about 3.5 hours to kill until my connection. I went straight to the Shower suite, and luckily there was no wait. The staff there said it is a first come first served basis so you can't book a spot. The shower suite was clean. They let me borrow a hairdryer too. So glad I was able to freshen up better yet, there was no additional cost! The food selection was great, too. I saw many pieces of subs for those who want a quick bite. Hot dishes included two kinds of rice, chicken, penne pasta, salad bar, two types of soup. This lounge also has a barrista- you can get a coffee from a machine, but you can order a coffee from a barista there- I've never seen an airport Lounge with this service before. Thanks to this comfortable space I was able to relax during my long layover.

This place is great! Free food. Comfy sofas, chairs, nooks. There's a full bar over there, and everyone is nice n quiet! Free beverages, too?? What? I'm loving this place! There are no servers proper, but everyone is being clean, and there are people restocking the buffet and coming around to get the plates. Get membership! Better yet, DON'T, and there's more room for me! Okay, the food is pretty good, I have to admit. I had a chicken in cream sauce with capers and a white rice with an additional grain, as well as a tso tofu. Salad fresh, cheese gouda, brownies fudgy, wine free. Check, check, check, check. If you are a lemon bar fanatic like me, it was so-so, at least edible without the hyper-aquatic aftertaste. Did I mention that there are restrooms in the lounge as well? No need to battle the other passengers or cleaning crew for a private stall! Ahhhh.... the life!

First time I travel in 2 years, United cancels my direct flight to DC with zero notification, and my 3-hr flight is now a 10-hr odyssey through EWR. Thought I'd finally get to use a United Club pass for my 4-hr layover, but noooooo for some inexplicable reason I can't use my pass at the United Club. There's another pop-up club near Gate 94 but it literally has drinks and cookies. Not worth using a pass for.

    Cafeteria food
    Erol O.

Crowded to capacity and at $50 per person this isn't worth it. Save your money and hang at a restaurant and get some decent food or a drink. We ended up sitting at a cafeteria chair in the lounge and next to a bunch of smelly men. This is like a cheap school cafeteria

Barely any food. Overpopulated. Bathrooms are small. This might be the worst United Club I've been too.

United Club - C123 (Newark Airport)…read more This is one of the most modern and beautiful United Lounges I've visited. Debuted, May 2022. The largest United Club location for United Airlines. It spans 30,000 Square Feet. Comfortably accommodating over 400 travelers. LOUNGE: Hats off to who designed and built this lounge. It shows how much passion and love they put into this 30,000 SQFT project. The way to get to this lounge is go past C123 gate and up the escalator. Depending on peak hours, by the entrance, you may have to form a line. Once you enter, the first thing you'll see is a large book shelf with table in front of it. Go past those shelves to the left and through the hallway. This is where all your main lounge will be. Your eyes may get wide and you may feel slightly overwhelmed of how much space there is, like I did. They offer so much seating that you're sure to find a spot to unwind, relax or get some work done. Throughout the space, they have large windows to allow natural lighting. Some of the seating faces the windows for you to enjoy watching the planes. The space was exceptionally clean. I didn't see any trash laying around. The staff did a wonderful job coming up to the guests that finished with their dishes and asked, "May I take that from you?" FOOD: I was on a six hour layover here and I was able to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I have to say, for a lounge that can accommodate over 400 travelers, they were on top of it. They kept bring hot breakfast items. They offered variety of options including healthy options. I prefer eating healthy and some of the other locations don't offer good healthy options. Here, you have turkey sausage and links with egg whites. They have a large space for your breakfast sandwiches, wraps and fresh fruit. A yogurt and oatmeal area with all your toppings available. I didn't get a chance to stay too long for lunch, but I was able to see if they serve good lunch and they did. They offered chicken with penne pasta and many other options. For lunch, they also offered healthy options. Hot beverages are available through their Coffee machines or you can ask at the bar for any additional drink options. Good food options here, overall. SHOWER SUITES: This location offers multiple suites for you to take a shower before or after your long flight. I was able to take a nice shower after my long flight to Newark, and it was so refreshing. The suite was clean, offering good amounts of towels. They provide complimentary, Perricone MD Shower Gel, Conditioner and Soap. Overall, this is a great feature to have at this club. Not all United Club locations offer shower rooms. STAFF: After visiting multiple United Club locations, I would have to say the entire staff working here are just absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and kind, regardless if this is your first visit or you're experienced traveler. Any questions you may have about the space, or flight information, they are here to assist you with a genuine smile. If you just need someone to talk to, they're happy to spike up a conversation with you. OVERALL: If you're traveling domestically or internationally with one of the Star Alliance members, this is a great place to unwind, relax while you're waiting for your departure. I've been at this lounge several times and I am looking forward to continue my visits.

Came back again to this lounge, and still left nothing to be desired from me. The food on this sad Saturday evening was a chicken dish, root veggies and either rice or pasta. On top of it all, when I walked to initially sit at a booth table top, it was still dirty and there was no one around to clean it up! While this club "looks nice" I am disappointed by the cleanliness and the food options, leaving nothing to be desired.

An oasis from Newark Airport!…read more I booked a Polaris Class ticket from Newark to London, and as a result was able to access the Polaris Lounge in Newark. Food: Good buffet with quality food and fresh salads Drink: Free drinks but I was in "work mode" the entire time. Opted for water, and the lounge has a nice bottle filling station too. Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathrooms: private bathrooms that are properly maintained and cleaned Showers: I didn't use the showers but the Polaris Lounge offers free showers By the way, I booked lie-flat seats on United going to London and on British Airways returning from London. However, I did not see anyone at the counter, I went toward the other side as the bartender is having a text-a-thon. I wait, and she finally comes over with an attitude, as if I did something wrong to disturb her. After this, I go to see what I can but the offerings were just so-so. They do replenish the food quite often, though. I attempt to get a second drink about 45 minutes later, she's still texting away and this time another worker had to let her know someone was citing to be served. Ridiculous.
