Found Dr. Lin through searching on Yelp and was happy to see that he accepted my insurance. Made an appt. the day before and they were more than flexible with my time since I work in Pasadena. It's a smaller office a limited selection of frames which is the only downside. Dr. Lin explained everything he was doing and also found out why my vision was so bad...apparently my last optometrist gave me the wrong prescription! For a while, I thought I was going blind cause everything was blurry. Thanks to Dr. Lin, I can actually see very very clearly. I have already recommended him to family members and friends. All I can say is awesome!!! Dr. Lin and staff are extremely friendly and helpful! I ran in here on my lunch break for my first visit, and they totally accommodated me and my tight schedule! They are extremely close to my work, but a bit of a drive from my home! Nonetheless totally worth the drive if I can't make it during my work hours. I was a little scared at first because I had never had an exe exam and for my first time there I had an awesome experience. The staff was great, the office was very clean and the staff would clean all the equipment prior to having you use it. They answered my questions and explained very politely everything that I would be getting done. The Dr. was very nice and answered all my questions as well. I thought for sure I wrote a review for this place. Took my son here last year for his first pair of glasses. My BIGGEST BIGGEST BIGGEST complaint about this place is that the doctor didn't not say hello or acknowledge me even once. I'm his father and he's not an adult yet, but the doctor didn't even acknowledge me or let me know what the status of his eyes were. I was not even asked to join them for his eye exam. I was disappointed, cause I was looking for a new eye doctor, since mine retired. I'm back on yelp now finding an alternative to this place. Hopefully you guys experience better. I haven't got new glasses for the longest time, about 5 or 6 years and I decided to come here to get my eyes checked up. This place is local and I've passed by it a few times so I went. The office is super clean with hand sanitizers scattered around, I'm a big fan of that. The staff is nice and really helpful. Also, the doctor is very thorough with his explanations so you know exactly what you need. He also explains and answers all your questions so don't hesitate to ask if you're confused about anything. Also I love the glasses i got, they have a wide selection and many shelves of glasses to choose from. They also make sure the glasses are a perfect fit for you and adjust it to your liking. The staff and Dr. Lin also advises you on what glasses to get so you don't blindly choose according to the "style". I also found this awesome dr on yelp! everything yelpers have mentioned is true-- the rebate form, attentivenes, helpfulness......etc etc....ALL TRUE! I was almost there for 2 hrs and as soon as i walked into the office, my bf and i were handed two bottles of water. I filled out the paperwork and was promptly asked to do testings. Dr. Lin was no pushy at all, but gave me all the options on all the offers they had. I ended up getting my contact lenses for a little bit over 100 bucks, after my insurance kicks in, plus visa rebate. Dr. Lin filled out all of my rebate form for me, filed it online on the spot, and then put everything in the envelop, wrote my return address (the mail to address is already there), and put it in along with the goodie bag he gave me for free, which includes contact lens cases, eye drops, eye glasses cleaner etc etc. All i had to do was to put a stamp on the envelop, seal it, and mail it. ohh and he also adjusted my glasses i brought with me to have them adjust. although i did not purchase my eye glasses there, Dr. Lin took his time to make sure my eye glasses fit me well. looooved him and will def. go back. read more

So I called in yesterday wanting to make an appointment since my eyes have been hurting lately and the receptionist was so rude to me. I have been coming here for a few years now and I don't think I will be coming back. I kept telling her I need to make an appointment and she kept saying she will charge me $100 to see Dr. Lin. He never charged me in the past to see him if something was bothering me. Because of her, my husband and I will take our business elsewhere. I don't need to put up with her rudeness.
